I replied based on the sources that have been letout - TATA sky sources have never been wrong and they have claimed that this has been shown to do pardaa-faarsh of MA...
MA, who is possibly single-handedly capable of wielding and misusing power to any extent if she gets his way... so yes, I understand the method in his madness...
The last we saw, we learnt Jalal came to know of MA's hand in Jodha's badnaam and of her financial ghotala.. we don't know how much more he's learnt/learning now about her black deeds!
And about him having been a king for so long - even if he was king from 15 he was under the guidance of BK and MA for so long... a puppet in two ruthless people's hands... a kid learning his way... it's only now that he's facing music alone.. after death of BK and after revoking powers of MA, he's installing his own court - TM, Atgah, Maan etc are people he's trusting and stationed - who will prove to be immensely loyal and beneficial to him! SO, I think he's slowly getting it ... 😊
Yes, his spies and whatever are possibly working - but how is he supposed to trust even them when we don't know who's loyal and who's not... how does he not know AK, MA, MC etc haven't got to his spy network too?
