I still don't understand half the forum weeping about how Jalal overdid it to catch one lady..
one lady... ONE LADY?
If he was indeed doing all this just to catch Atifa, he needs a whack on his lil head to get him back to his senses..
As per sources, he is doing this to simultaneously catch three powerful adversaries, right?
Let's see the other side of the picture
What happens if he didn't catch these ridiculous culprits in time?
What if he gets assassinated before he is able to weed out the people and catch them red-handed? Let's imagine - If MA comes to power and puts her son on the throne...
1) Amer and all other Hindu kingdoms would be out to be destroyed
2) Jodha and babies instantly killed (since they seem to be fanatical against hindus and both hate her)
3) The rest of his wives who don't suicide on time will be sold as slaves
4) The praja divided and tortured (esp the Hindus) - we saw what Adham did at Malwa!
5) All abolished taxes back in full form - any forms of positive reform done by Jalal instantly revoked...
6) Remaining temples destroyed, all facilities pro-other faiths will be taken back!
The list goes on...
If MC takes over - fir tho gayaa.. whole North India would be in tatters!
During such rebellions/revolts/conspiracies that broke out did Emperors possibly have the time to give their pregnant wife/wives even a second glance? Do the men in the military stationed at various points today have the resources or time to be ensuring their wife is comfortable and safe back home?
Maybe he is currently acting mad - but there could be a method in his madness - and that is to make MA believe he's lost it! I don't think this was meant to be the PERFECT plan... could be a more desperate one... but at least, Jalal is not sitting and weeping like he did during the Tasneem track and not letting his wives face the music alone like during the war track.
He took a risk with Jodha, but I believe he did that because he believed she is strong. I believe he did it because the bigger picture is far far more important here and the repercussions of those TERRIBLE - absolutely terrible.
If he didn't do all this, na Jodha rahegi, na Maan, na TM, na Amer no koi Hindu king who's in alliance with the Mughals and na anyone who's a Jalal-loyal! 😕
When we can accept NR for a pregnant Jodha's two day stay with Khyber which would have been impossible from ANY century's perspective... I don't know why we can't just sit back and watch this NR where an Emperor being harsh to his pregnant wife seems more plausible... with khyber her intent was noble, here his intent is noble... that's all...
(I'm not saying Akbar was harsh with HK, we know how he was with HK) but it's all Ekta's drama, right? So, this madness is also a part of it 😆
