I agree with you in totality Mandy...a great deal of fuss is being made out that Jalal shouted at his pregnant wife...so should he sit quite and watch her follies in silence? As a partner with equal footing in a marriage it is he who is the best person to correct her...just as she corrected him during Ruqaiyya's fake pregnancy...but the problem with Jodha is that she never listens...she can only advise but deaf to other's advice - be it her parents, her friend Moti and her husband!

One thing was clear after yesterday's episode - both of them love each other

Yet there is a distinction when it comes to Jalal's love - faith...faith in his love for Jodha and Jodha's love for him...after the rescue, if Jodha sits down and does a bit of thinking, she will realise that Jalal has not fallen out of love with her and that there is something about his fling with Atifa which is not genuine! Her lack of faith in Jalal's love and her love for Jalal drove her to commit suicide and not her pregnancy hormones.

But I definitely feel Jalal loves Jodha more than she loves him. Its almost as if he loves her unconditionally. After watching all the episodes of JA, this is one thing that I can say with conviction!

we cant say who love more both love each other equally in ben track even then she said its kartavya but some where in this track jodha have some feeling for jalal

jalal saved her from the tiger attack by taking the attack on himself even thought it was completely jodha's fault..still did not raise voice against her after he gained consciousness! ( if you remember because of jodha lep jalal come conscious and i want to say jodha intention was not this to hurt jalal at end she is only the one she help jalal and take care of him )

and jodha was the one who is always ready to cross all limit to save jalal life

In war track no one believing that jalal was alive even not his family and even not his childhood friend that was only jodha who have trust on her love and in pregnancy condition also she fight against enemies for who just becoz of jalal

if ur asking jodha was wrong helping kaibar i know she is wrong but jalal was also not right even then he doing acting but his acting hurting his pregnant wife badly and touching gair aurat is haram

we cant say who is more wrong who is more right

Thinking, introspective Jodha wrt Jalal doesn't fit with her in the show...

Only once, after badal-kajri track when they returned back to palace...Jodha agrees, "Shehanshaah theek kehte hain Moti, drishtikon ka antar, hum sadaiv woh hi dekhte hain, jo hum dekhna chahate hai"...and I'd hoped...I thought it was a mentos moment for her...Alas!!! she never understood the depth of words she herself uttered...and my hoped crushed.😭

Very true...being in love ----- being in that state...when you are in that state you become love itself! And hence your actions - be it anger, be it compassion...all of them are born out of that very love!

Waise hi Jodha woh phool hai jisse Jalal naam ke zameen ki zarorat hai - jis zameen ke bina uska koi astitva hi nahin hai - jis zameen ke bina woh hai hi nahin

Wonderful post Mandy.

I would like to use Shyamala Aunty's analogy here, where she had compared Jodha to a stream, clear and not much of depth, and Jalaal to a sea. I am sorry, I didn't quote aunty word for word, as I am sure the entire forum knows my profound laziness in going back and searching for the post where these words were minted.

This is not the first time that, Jodha has broken rules and done something controversial, but, yes this is the first time she has done it where the reason and the results of her action have been unfavourable. Not only Khy whom she set out to save at the bottom of the valley, the entire awaam who worship her, are pointing fingers at her. I sincerely hope she learns to mind her manners with this. She has saved enough villains with her do-goodery as it is.

I am sorry, but, I am extremely irritated with her short-sightedness. She basically roams around like a quack 24/7 and when she herself is pregnant, she decides to go on an adventure-trip.

I don't have any poetic streak, but may I add, "woh zameen apne antah(inner being) se uss phool ko seenchata hai aur uss phool ko poori tarah se badhane aur apne saare rangon ke saath khilne ka mauka deta hai.

End note: zameen aur phool dono ek dusre ke karan hain, ek dusre mein hain, ek dusre mein sampoorn hain, ek dusre ke bawajood hain, ek dusre ke karan poore hain aur ek dusre ke bina adhure hain.😊
