does jodha love jalal enough?

hi folks!

after watching today's epi i was just wondering how much jodha loves jalal, does she love him the way he loves her...i will dissect the two sides of the coin as per lots of different opinions about how strongly they feel for each other...

jalal wo zameen hai jispe jodha pair rakhti hai..zameen khiski aur jodha ka wajood jo jalal se jura hai wo khatm!

jalal is an emperor..a powerful king..answerable to many..has to take care of his harem ladies who are a city in itself..!
still in spite of all this he gives special attention to jodha...

initially jodha has been extremely rude to him to the extent that she declared open war against him..but still he laughed as he appreciated her being honest whether its love or hatred!

he was bowled over by her beauty and personality the day he set his eyes upon her..but she on the other hand only hatred to offer him!

jalal saved her from the tiger attack by taking the attack on himself even thought it was completely jodha's fault..still did not raise voice against her after he gained consciousness!

jalal gave his precious fort as a wedding gift to her sister and what he got in return was that good nothing happened to jalal in amer otherwise her bapusa would have been in trouble!

jalal gave to jodha more than he gave to any other begum..be it attention..be it pampering..or be it saying yes to whatever she wants even though most of the times she has been forcefully pushing him to the edges!

this atifa track is beyond my understanding..why she is introduced and what exactly happened in history i do not know for sure other than reading what our history lovers had to say, therefore penalizing jalal for this i would wait until everything is resolved!

now in khyber track doesn't matter how much jodha was wrong he still went out to find her..if he was an abuser or a womanizer he would have had fun times with atifa and send few sipahis in search of jodha..but he went himself...held on to her dupatta..almost cried..the love the yearning was clearly visible..! if this is not love then what it is? an abuser or a womanizer will not feel for any woman!

people were talking nonsense about jodha but still he held his faith for jodha and also he will not let her honor be trampled under foot in front of the whole awaam..if the husband is with the wife then no one can even dare to raise a finger at her..and i know my jalal will safeguard her honor!

i think jodha needs to walk miles to catch up to jalal's love as it started later in the relationship..now this khyber track has ruined whatever this jodha was made of..

i appreciated jodha as badal's kajri, she was adorable and i wanted that track to never end!

this jodha gave her life for jalal even though she named it as her kartavya but it was an act of honor and i applauded for this jodha..

this jodha safegaurded the honor by so beautifully covering up the fake pregnancy of ruk which could have devastated many in the process, i applauded this jodha as an excellent home maker..

she was there for jalal when he needed her,,gave him support and love...

..but as of late where did that jodha go?..was saving khyber more important than her aan baan shaan,,was it more important than her husband's honor?..why she felt so much for him and why she went to the jail against her husband's wishes to caress his wounds..and why she send the letter without informing the emperor?

is this new found jodha irresponsible or is her love for jalal is not up to the mark or it is not the way it should be because as of late i did not see her dedication..all i saw was her dedication and worries for khyber more than jalal..i am disappointed with this jodha and i will nor applaud!

now why jalal has to yell and make her understand what she is supposed to do because she is not a good listener, she does what she thinks is right and goes overboard with her social work forgetting that she is a queen and that she should maintain her and her family's honor!

well that is all i have to say as of now, i think both jodha and jalal will have to sort out their priorities and figure out the importance of each other in their lives!..and epic love happens when it remains unshaken inspite of hurricanes in life!

ps..the first line of jalal wo zameen hai was mentioned earlier by shyamala or ela i cannot remember, sorry for using it as i thought it was so apt here!

The way I see it Mandy, Jalal knows Jodha better than I do. I am positive of that. How he chooses to use that knowledge he has of his Begum's thought processes is a matter of concern because it looks cruel on the surface. The Khyber track looked bad to me not because Jo was feeding the gossip about her morals, but because of the pregnancy angle. Ridiculous running around made the whole thing not worthy of my attention. All common sense was twisted and mangled in the jungle, people got killed,property was damaged and the blame falls on Jodha. If I know Jalal, he is saddened that his Jodha Begum is at fault. He is willing to accept his faults, but her mistakes are more painful for him than his own. Still, he will bear it on his own, in his own way. I thought I had lost my Jo after the last few episodes, but Jalal may give me back my Jo.

If jallu can openly accept his disloyalty toward jodha,, dan y she cares fr his aan, baan, shaan. whn he don't care fr his status during lusting a married woman dan y jodha cares,, ok he is faking bt sorry undrstnd dat. dono ne hi gunaah-e-azeem ki hain,, so both r equal. If u say abt jodha's hatred mode, evn in hatred she is the most loyal person to his lyf no doubt.

Yesterday I too realised jalal truly loves jodha but that doesn't mean she loves him less her problem is she loves others too(not in that way).
I always supported Jo but in khyber track she is at fault. It was OK till she went to save him in jail but she crossed the limit when she went alone to the well to release him.I liked the precap jalal's anger is justified but I am not supporting him in atifa case. I don't like the way he is using Jo in his plan.Jalal too is at fault. I think both jj need to learn n improve themself

@bold: totally agree with you. Though Jalal is faking his anger cannot be justified at all. Getting angry is fine but there also is limit to do so. I just hate this Atifa and Khyber track. wish CVS could have implemented it a little better. Both JJ are equally wrong and need to learn and move on. Cannot say Jala's love for Jo is more than Jo's love for Jalal. Definitely will disagree with it..Each has their own way of expressing.
