why so surprised?

I am baffled as to why some a so surprised a jodha's attempted suicide. Is this not the same jodha who tried twice before to kill herself over a husband that she was not in love with and had alienated her.Imagine her actions when this husband,her reason for living as alienated her. we must never forget the character that is jodha and even remember ruquaiya's words when she first attempted suicide, she now has nothing to live for, its only after khaiber saves her that she remembers her children and her will to live rekindles. I completely understand her and I think that jalal has underesteemated how much jodha loves him and what she is willing to do to save it and what she would do when its lost
