I think this entire " getting beaten up by the hubby " drama is being staged by Atifa to gain Jalal's sympathy and trust and lure him towards herself . She will then attack him in private . However I also feel that the Shehenshah has also smelt something fishy ever since this female set foot in the harem . He is confused too, hence this erratic behavior .

Guys do u remember somebody told that a jasoos had come to tell something but jalal stopped near atifa and i guess jalal knows that khaiber will attack jo and he plans this hunting so that atifa will not be near to jo i guess jalal knows what is he doing this is our tedha emperor.

(Just prediction) maybe Atifa is also a Vishkanya (I think jalal ko 3 baar Vishkanya ne maarne ka koshish kiya tha?)
