THIS WOULD NOT BE THAT BAD AFTER ALL!

Okay, I still did not see today's episode thankfully, except the end and precap. So, I actually liked what I saw. Though it wouldn't be so, had I seen the Atifa part. Anyways, I am quite calm now all thanks to Divya, Abhay and some positive posts I read.

Firstly, Jalal and Atifa are getting quite amusing now. Jalal is attracted towards her, I think. I don't know about Madam Atifa. Her husband slaps her. Somewhere down the line, there will be some scene where Jalal slaps the husband for manhandling this new character. So here, I am presenting my view on the whole picture now, regarding past few episodes:-

I read this particular phrase somewhere, "Unfaithful Lover". This one intrigued me considerably. Now, I am going to think like Hercule Poirot. If any of you have read it, you would know very well.

Now, Jalaluddin Mohammad cannot be an 'unfaithful lover''. He can either be unfaithful or a lover. The phrase is paradoxical.

So two possibilities:

  1. Jalal is unfaithful.
  2. Jalal is a lover.

The reason why he cannot be an unfaithful lover is that, a man who is unfaithful can NEVER love! If he doesn't love, he cannot be characterized as a lover. And, a lover is never unfaithful. A lover cannot be unfaithful. So Jalal is an unfaithful man or he is a true lover.

We KNOW FOR FACT the latter is true. I am not bringing history here. But, in the show itself, the soul talks are a dead giveaway! Everyone, think. In the end, everything was fine. All was well!

Akbar and Jodha loved each other dearly. So much so that their souls are still present and are together. So, Jalal WAS, indeed, a true lover. This clearly falsifies the first possibility of Jalal being unfaithful.

MY FIRST INFERENCE:

Jalal loves Jodha. It IS an epic love story despite all its shortcomings.😳

Coming to Atifa, I am not presenting any theories. I am not really imaginative and many talented members have brought out amazing theories! This has to be fake is my hunch. Well, I have seen enough Ekta Kapoor shows to know this cannot be true. I have seen her break marriages, love stories turning to sob stories, compromise marriages AND extra marital affairs. But these affairs were seldom with the leads. They were always with some supporting character. Also, I do know the general outline of all shows. Once, everything is settled, the hero cannot fall in love with someone else. It goes against the whole point. So, I am really sure there is something else in here. They are trying to fool the audience. It has happened thousands of times already in shows!😉

MY SECOND INFERENCE:

This affair isn't what we think it is. There will be some twist to it. If there isn't any twist, there would be no reason for it.

Thirdly, think about it from Jalal's perspective. He is an Emperor. A 16th century Mughal Emperor with more than 5000 women in his Harem. Remember, his olden days, he was attracted to Jodha at first sight. It was because of her beauty obviously. Now, it isn't completely against his character. It is IN SYNC with his character to like something or someone different or exceptional. He did not fall for Benazir because she wasn't anything new or refreshing. Moreover, she came in at a time when his relationship with Jodha was in a complete muddle.

Now, Jodha is in his Harem. He has found his heart. He has given his heart to Jodha. He loves her. He will always be there for her. Does it mean he would give up on all the other Begums? No. He wouldn't. They don't show it specifically, but it would be safe to assume Jalal did spend time with his other begums. So, why not with Atifa? It is a totally different question she is married and it is immoral and so on. Also, how much ever a person changes and 'transforms'' in love, a basic nature of a person cannot be changed.

MY THIRD INFERENCE: It is in Jalal's nature to appreciate someone different. It is his basic quality whatever he says or denies it. The same thing that is happening with Atifa happened with Jodha one and a half years back!

One can always argue Atifa is married. I have nothing to say about this except that Jalal was the Emperor. If he decided to marry an already married woman, it is his choice. More so ever, if that is what that woman also wishes. I don't see Atifa denying it. Human nature, why would she? The Shehenshah is interested in her. She is not goddess personified like Jodha. Though I refuse to believe it is AkDha story re written with Atifa. It is just a phase. A very expensive phase I must admit. Jalal doesn't LOVE Atifa.

MY FOURTH INFERENCE: Jalal is the king. He decides the law in the land. If he chooses not to follow morals, it is his choice. Something which we don't approve of, but it isn't condemnable in the least.

I agree Jodha is pregnant. She needs attention. All women need attention anyways. And, Jalal is not doing that. He is wrong. Agreed. But he isn't God, is he? He is after all a human being. That isn't a very plausible excuse though. Let us tackle it from Jodha's angle. She needs to be all fierce now. I personally think Jodha should confront Jalal like that SR episode.

Jodha should go to him, tell him that she isn't happy BUT give him the choice and freedom to think and make his own decision. That would make her truly different from everyone else. She should explain to him and convey her fears, her unhappiness, and her insecurity and make him understand. It is vain to assume Jalal wouldn't understand. He would. He will rather. Why wouldn't he?😛

MY FIFTH INFERENCE: There shouldn't be a communication gap here. Even if there is, no issues as we get to see lots of entertaining episodes. It would be more dignified if there is an open confrontation, a calm and mature talk between a king and his queen, a husband and his wife.

KHAIBER - JODHA

I thought I will keep what I like the most towards the end. Khaiber. I just saw a minute of Sharifuddin- Khaiber interaction but I liked it a lot. One, amidst serious scenes, it was one exceedingly ridiculous scene. Sharif jealous of a monster like creature because of Jodha tends to his wounds? Wow! Well, this just shows Jodha's market value is quite high. Sharifuddin still desires for Jodha. I also appreciated the victory smirk on Khaiber's face which showed Jodha favoured him NOT Sharifuddin gave him immense sadistic pleasure.☺️

Coming to Jodha and Khaiber, it seriously reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, the fairy tale. I already said that earlier, elaborating now. Difference is, no witch except Maha Chuchak, she can't change him back to human of course. Secondly, Khaiber cannot speak. This takes us to a very interesting perspective which I will come to presently.😊

So, as I mentioned, Jodha is so enchanting that she has even forced a monster to fall in love with her. So, do you really think, Jalal can actually lose interest in her? No way! For starters, he cannot NOT love her. Secondly, he cannot afford to do so. There are many takers for Jodha, too many. And, Jalal KNOWS this fact. He knows he cannot afford to lose her and Jalal is quite smart not to do something foolish and lose such a priceless possession.

Jodha caring for Khaiber is just humanity and maybe gratefulness for saving her from the enemy. No doubts about that. Keeping aside the fact that I am finding it as an antidote to Jalal-Atifa, don't you think it is a little too much she is doing? She is going and tending to this monster's wounds without once thinking, what if something untoward occurs? Isn't she risking her children's lives by doing so? Let us forget, the heir etc. She is a mother now and being so careless doesn't make her endearing anymore. It will invite anger and so it does.😲

Now, coming to why I like it. It is the BEST answer to Atifa. Jalal cares for a lady; Jodha cares for some other man. Scores settled. It is really amusing to see Jalal's anger on the attention that Jodha showers on Khaiber. The poor man doesn't understand why Jodha is unable to understand! Now, he finally realizes the outcome of giving in to Jodha's demands every time. The queen can't control herself now. She has to get what she wants somehow! Breaking rules was never a problem for her. It wasn't a problem for Jalal too. He just overtly pampered her and spoilt her. Now, he AND his mother, Hamida admit they were wrong.😆

Finally, KHAIBER. This man does not at all have a flattering countenance. He cannot speak. He is from the enemy camp. Not having a SINGLE point in his favour, it is indeed praiseworthy that he has already made his way into Jodha's good books. It is no new news that anyone in Jodha's good books gets away with anything he or she does. Now, one thing is assured. Khaiber will not be harmed in any way.

He has Jodha to stand by him and she would do so by standing against her own husband if need be. Khaiber is effectively able to create a rift between Jalal and Jodha without uttering a SINGLE COHERENT WORD. Now, this is what is called brilliance. Fie on Ruqaiya and Maham Anga xD. Khaiber is also able to make Sharifuddin envious of him. All of this, without a single effort from his side.👏

So that is all. I am actually waiting for the jail confrontation between Jalal and Jodha. I hope it would be one where both hold their ground like earlier times.👍🏼 We might get to see the same fiery passion again instead of those childish coochey cooing.👎🏼

So, be positive. It may not be bad after all. If Ekta Kapoor has taken this step, there will be something in it. I trust some decisions of hers. Not leaps though... 😆

DISCLAIMER(Before I get bashed)

Okay, guys. I am not HAPPY with this track. Neither am I jumping with joy and sending flying kisses to CVs. My point was just to find the best from what is given to us.

Well said...and I agree with it..😊...I hope jodha confronts jalal and says her point here...as she has been doing earlier...she is one woman who is not afraid of speaking her mind to jalal and i am sure she will give jalal an interesting reply that will close Jalal's mouth forver.😡😡,,,

Right, u ve written very valid points . It is the 16th century setup, Jalal is the Shehenshah & his word is the law & he can do anything he wants. But as this has never been shown much in the show that Jalal is the ultimate power, most will not accept it at this late stage, I guess 😕 . How I wish all this had been shown & highlighted previously so that many viewers keep in mind the polygamous era & accept what's shown today a little bit more easily & bash Jalal a little less too .
