Why Jodha Akbar Can't Take a Leap In October to show Salim - Anarkali Love Story?

A leading newspaper reported that Ekta Kapoor's Jodha Akbar will take a leap in October and focus on the love story of Salim and Anarkali. While, I don't know how much substance the news has, but, if it is true, I would definitely like to yell it out - "Oh hello, there are still many unfinished business in the Jodha Akbar track before you jump into the love story of Salim - Anarkali!"
Ah, going by the title we all thought the serial will move slowly giving us the love angle of Jodha and Akbar, which the serial did. No wonder, we even loved and criticized the fictional plots in the serial - Then whether it was Benazir's entry as a vish kaniya, Maham Anga's brutality or Mah Chuchaks role as a villain.
And just when the story is moving at the pace of a tortoise (which of course we are in love with), we can't digest the news of a leap where there is no Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma as the main lead but some x as Salim and y as Anarkali.
Of course we want Salim and Anarkali, but not so soon!
Why can't the serial just move at the same pace, giving us the details minutely? We want Jodha and Akbar to see as young parents to little Salim and then as a teenager, don't we? And here we have the news of Jodha Akbar as budha - budhi within just 2 months. Come on, they are not even parents now!
Besides, there are many unfinished things which the Jodha Akbar serial haven't touched at all -
Jodha Is Not Even Mother of Salim, She is Hardly 2 weeks pregnant with the Twins Hassan and Hussein
The show revealed that Jodha Begum is pregnant with the twins. Now since the twins were born in 1564, lets assume the ongoing period to be 1563. Don't you think, the serial first has to give birth to the twins, show their unfortunate death within a month after they are born, and only then proceed towards the birth of Salim?
But, forget about the birth of Salim, they are directly talking about the affair of a young Salim with the beautiful dancer in Akbar's court - Anarkali. Not to forget the difference between the twins and Salim was 5 years.
What About the Ongoing Track of Maham Anga and Adham Khan - When Will They be Exposed?
Maham Anga and Adham Khan are yet to be exposed. Even if the show tries to wind up their track soon - don't you think it will take time? Killing of Atgah Khan by Adham Khan is still not on the cards and Chand Begum's suspense is still not out. In addition, Chand Begum has to recover and disclose about Humayun's farmaan, which only she is aware of.
Mah Chuchak and Abul Mali - Inka Kya Hoga Kaaliya?
Now that they have somehow forcefully managed the Kabul track in between they have to finish it off. Oh please don't tell me Mah Chuchak and Abul Mali will continue to conspire against Akbar even in the times when Salim will be romancing Akbar's concubine Anarkali.
Now, for that Akbar first has to shift his capital from Agra to Fatehpur, and then Fatehpur to Delhi. Ghosh, in the serial, there is no even any talks of Fatehpur and the newspaper talks about a leap. Phew! Makes me wonder, whether the leading newspaper is just playing around. Quite possible!
Introduction of the Navratans - Birbal Still Can't Be Seen Anywhere!
Dude, where is Birbal till now in the serial if you want to introduce SALIM? Don't tell me there will be no Birbal in the historical serial titled Jodha Akbar which is already one year old. Besides, Tansen's re-entry is still not shown. I was of the opinion that we might have a dedicated track for all the 9 navratans, after all we had 2 whole months for Benazir.
When will Mirza Hakim Oppose Akbar?
Mirza Hakim is being a good boy till yet but as we all know in history he revolts against his brother Akbar which happens somewhere in 1564, which is again before the birth of Salim (1569). By giving us the leap - does it mean Mirza will always be a good boy and never revolt against Akbar in the serial?
The Different Battles and the Famous Seige of Chittorgarh in 1567?
Maharana Pratap was introduced in the serial at very beginning and so we audiences expected to see the TV version of the famous attack on Chittorgarh which happened before the birth of Salim. However, with a leap just in two months, how will the creative team give us this war? Besides, all we have seen till yet is the capture of Malwa in details, many battles and war is still pending.
Writers. Give us the war - we want to experience some of the famous war in its reel version, love of Salim and Anarkali can wait. Aren't we Indians famous for making 1000 and plus episodes, then why do all the katoti here, when we want things in detail?
With all these things and many more unfinished business in the serial, I don't think, the show would take a leap so fast. However, if something called "leap" is in the minds of the producers and channel, I hope the creative minds do a sensible job rather than just rushing up things, and in the process disappoint the JODHA AKBAR crazy fans who literally want to see things in detail.
PS: If Balaji's Pavitra Rishta with lose plot can go beyond 1300 episodes, why hurry up things in a historical drama like Jodha Akbar!
