I have met EK at a conference at my business school and I have a picture with her ... after that, I only share a love-hate relationship with her serials ... I grew up on Kutumb, then fell in love with Bandini, and now Jodha Akbar .. so I know all her team's tricks

There was a time I dreamed of working in the industry ... I have all these sample scripts, talked to execs ... then I learned life was ruled by TRPs and not creativity and stepped out

Of course it is TRPs that matter. There was a horrible leap in Bandini ... I mentioned to EK I was a big fan but didn't like the leap. She said, why , the TRPs are up. I said after an all time low. She had no response.

TRP=money, money is what drives the business
