Let me say why such a war never happened - if it had Akbar's detractors especially Badaoni would have had a field day lampooning him - and ir s Badaoni who has very relictantly admired Akbar's ability as warrior likening him to Alexander in boldness, his strategy and his brilliance - if he had ever been a captive Badaoni would have made it headline info. And the fact that this hulk is also fantasy fiction is that if it was true Fazl would not have missed the opportunity to sing Akbar's praises - this is enuff to deduce that both the tracks are pure fiction with not an amount of factuality to it. As to why such fiction is being thrown at us in the name of a historical in NR presentation is anybody's guess.

A movie has a huge budget to showcase things well proportioned and at the same time showing only the gist of the story where as a TV serial has lower budget with elaborated storyline as they have to run the show for ages. So in a serial, the creative director has to put on his cap to dig out even the unfamiliar details (if it is historical based one), so that he can say proudly that I have given youthe most unknown facts of history which were deeply hidden within. May be as we have read the history of Akbar on surface level, we might not be knowing the full details on his lost battles or since we mainly depend on Akbarnama, surely it might not highlight his failure. Say like Akbar didn't even knew about the missed out wife of his own father and was for a great shock when he came to know about that in a dramatic way. But Humayunama didn't say much about Chand Begum or her daughter that doesn't rule out the factor that they had a daughter.

So may be Jalal had this war against his sister and since it went ashtray within a day or two, no one would have written in lengths but have just wrote that his Hindu wife helped him in some wars. (May be they didn't want to give full scope to a lady as they wanted to keep Akbar's image intact as the Great.).
I can't rule out even the kidnap but may be whatever they show here the cave man may not have been that scary in real life but may be relatively well built than the rest of the people of that time.
So all I can say is that even though I didn't enjoy the Friday episode, I didn't regret watching that either. If we want to hand pick the roses, then we should be prepared to get some pricks now and then. We can't say there should not be pricks at all.
All I feel is that whenever they give us some low episodes, then I will enjoy that in anticipation that after this they will give me better one. Unless I taste the bitter and spoils my taste buds, I may not enjoy the desert. We have a saying in Kannada "Ati aadare Amruthavu Vishavagutthe" means if it become more, the even the Amrutha also will become poisonous or bitter. If we just get to watch only the romance of Jalal & Jodha, will you be able to watch it for ever? At least I will be frank and will not watch it more than 2 episodes. Unless we get the variations in any serial, we start ignoring that or flipping the channels and later will stop watching it.

Very well written. I love the metaphor for Vish and Amrit, but the thing is as much as I would like to be amar (live forever) it would not want to first drink poison and then hope to get Amrit for survival. I agree watching only romance would make the show boring. And that's the point where the role of CVs could come in, they have to innovate to give us some creative tracks, in the war track I could think of so many sub stories that would have made it more entertaining, they could have explored MH and MCB relationship, a son fighting against his own mother - there are so many shades that could be potrayed. They could have focused on wives worrying about husbands safe retun - especially Ruk as she had Seen Jalal though his previous wars.

Even outside of war, they could focus on so many other things, Ruk-Jo relationship, Jalal - TM bonding. role of TM in uncovering Aadham's fraud. But instead we are getting a Jo kidnap track as a desperate attempt to showcase Jalal's herogiri!

I love JA and the very reason I fell in love with this show was that every track explored a lot of depths. Ruk MC we saw that she was hungry for power yet was also determined to hold the right person accountable. Sukanya wedding was legendary it did justice to POVs of both Jo and Ja. Right now CVs seem to be focusing on starting new tracks without concluding old ones...every track no matter how ridiculous can be made beautiful if you do justice to it with fine direction, good acting a great script- I even enjoyed Benazir track because of this reason. But lately, new tracks just keep piling and over all direction, and storyline simply lack focus.

Mansi hats off to u for managing to write for such a weird episode 👏👏 .,.. the only watchable thing in the episode was that precap where Jalal and Jodha had an argument over the pregnency and I got to see some intensity there , felt like watching the real JA ... rest episode was nonsense

I m looking forwards to today's episode now as both Jalal and Jodha r right in their POVs .. Jalal had the right to know about her pregnency while Jodha too had a valid point of not wanting him to become weak due to his personal crisis during the battle for his people 👍🏼/...Will love to see how they reach to a coonclusion together .,

Coming to the episode .. what was that .. intro of Gorilla man eating eggs , bakris .. errr 😕 .,. felt like watching those spuernatural or superhuman series for a min and not our JA 😳😆

Jalal bowing down to Jodha in DEK I thought was a nice gesture and a token of respect he shows to the woman he loves and admires and this time even Ruqaiyya was happy ... Though its more like glorifying Jodha over Jalal instead of showing them on equal grounds but I dont mind this as long as I get to see Jodha and Jalal instead of gorilla men and maha chuchaks 😆😆

But I dont get how the war was declared over overnight when still noone knows where is Chand begum or where Nigar eloped now 😕 ... So will they vanish forever or is that track still hanging as noone knows that Maham is real culprit in this case 🤔

Hope CVs know what they r doing 😕
