Srry but I dont believe tht majority of TRP audience wants only female war nd not akbar's war. I know its often tried to prove tht rajat/jalal has no contributions in TRPs but thts the wrong conception which the makers possess. 50% of the TRP audience if not more, wants to watch rajat nd his action nd r still watching it in a hope tht they will be able to see jalal's action. The truth is shooting a big war needs lots of efforts nd money. Action was never balaji's strong point. Other than rajat nd chetan to sum extent todermal noone is gud enough in action so they cant give us proper action nd war even if TRP audience wants tht. On the other hand shooting a mirchi doesn't require much efforts bcoz audience already know tht only jodha knows war skills nd others r inexperience so instead of swords if mirchi is used it will be easier for the CVs to show it nd also it will look more believable. TRP audience will love to see akbar's war provided its well shot. So male war is not bcoz majority of the TRP audience doesn't want it but bcoz balaji is not capable enough to shoot it.
munni, very well said! war scenes need a lot of effort and money and lots of time to shoot perfect war scenes..look at the jodha akbar movies how many days and how many technicians must have worked on those special effects to make it look realistic because movies have big budget and big risk involved..ekta, never wanted to show war she only wanted to show the relationship of jodha and akbar and of people surrounding them!..but i guess due to high demand of war scenes she did put some effort but it was not upto the mark..rajat has excellent martial arts and sword fighting skills, with the combination of two he creates magic and we all have seen it on zee tv award shows!..but the way he was shown fighting in the battlefield with people who hardly get paid 100 rupees per day, what skills he could have shown other than swirling around to make it look like a war and a bit realistic..but hen the whole scenario of AM taking him out of the battlefield and then shenu aapaaajii taking to the dark room was nothing but a comical mess..a bad script..bad execution..and highly unrealistic distortion of history!
and as far as trp race is concerned, the relationship of jodha and akbar and their screen space together with pinch of politics and some interesting stroyline with powerful script..emphasis on characterization can make a huge difference!..what is lacking here is the realistic way of presenting the characters..for example the character of jalal..the transition of a ruthless man to a marshmellow was faulty..there was no smooth flow of changes..all of a sudden he realized dil and changed into a jelly overnite..now which person completely changes overnite..?..slow transition with lots of space given to his thinking process..his inner thoughts..would have made it look more believable..and repetitive dialogues of hamare paas dil hai irritate to the limit!
jodha on the other hand is shown ott goody goody but faulty when it comes to dealing with jalal..her warmth looks superficial except in few scenes..she is not convincing enough in portraying the love for jalal..work needs to be done on that part..i still do not feel that she actually loves jalal..why she wanted to spend more time with ruq giving her aushiddi and why she got delighted when rahim interrupted their love convo..all these little details need to be worked upon!
then too much negativity is also the turning off point..the trp has risen but it should rise more..and that is only possible if they show better storyline with a strong script and better characterization! and why not their product will sell if its presented well!
