CHAPTER 4

jodha looks at jalal through her ghunghat and blushes a lil watching jalal just staring at her...but then she realizes that jalal's hand is about to touch her face...
she prays to kanha to save her!
jalal's hand touches her golden net ghunghat and he is about to lift it up ..just then...a servant enters and says...that maham has asked jalal to take the dancer to the harem...to his hojra and not keep her in diwaan-e-khaas...
jalal is too drunk but realizes that his badi ammi is right and he should take her to his hojra...
he looks back at the the beautiful lady standing in the front of him...he holds her hand and says,"tum mere sath chalo yahaan rehna theek nahi" jodha shivers...but walks along with her master...her fingers are playing with the end of her dupatta...she is scared...she thinks of ways to get out of this mess...she looks around through her net and realizes that there are soldiers everywhere and will catch her even if she runs...
they walk towards jalal's hojra...
on the way the ladies of the harem look at her and jalal walking together...
all of them are burning!!! rukaiyya says to hoshiyar..."jalal kuch waqt uske saath guzarenge...uske baad vo humare paas aayenge! unhone humse kaha tha" she smiles and walks into her hojra...and tells all the servants to decorate her hojra...
jalal walks into his hojra with the lady...and he orders all this guards every1 to leave...jodha stands and is shivering...
jalal removes his coat and his turban...his removes his jewellery and walks towards jodha...jodha is standing with her back faced to jalal...
jalal says" aap bohot khubsurat hai, benazir aapke samne kuch bhi nahi...mujhe laga ki is duniya meri jodha begum se zyaada khubsurat aur koi nahi ho sakta...par aapne toh unhe bhi maat de di.." jodha is stunned hearing these words!!
a smile spreads across her face...her eyes look down and she blushes...
jalal comes near her...he touches her hand she freezes...she starts taking off her ghunghat from back...she shivers and then without even thinking twice she runs out of his hojra...
jalal is shocked...
her payal falls on the floor and her ghunghat is no more on her head...
since its dark jalal could only see her back and her hair...it took him a minute to realize that she was running away...
he runs behind her...jodha gets out of his harem and runs towards her hojra...she realizes that every1 has not yet slept so she takes her dupatta and covers her face and walks slowly without making noise to her hojra...just then she hears that jalal has ordered his men to search for her...
jodha gets scared and walks behind a wall and hides there..
she peeps and finds that soldiers are searching for her...just then from the back some1 touches her shoulder she freezes..its jalal!!!! she realizes by his touch...he says" aap iss tarah se bhaag kyun gayi" he is about to make her face him...just then a servant enters and says shehenshah ka iqbal buland ho...jalal attention is shifted towards the bandi...
jodha takes advantage and quietly walks away from there...jalal asks the baandi what happended she answers by saying that rukaiyya begum is waiting for him...he asks her to send a message to rukaiyya begum that today he will not visit her...
he turns around to find no one is there...he is shocked ad starts searching for her again
jodha realizes that she will be caught again before she reaches her hojra...so she moves towards the baandi's rooms and takes a shrug present there and wraps herself...
she then walks towards the angoori baag and sits...
she prays to kanha to save her...

chapter 5

jodha is sitting with the black shrug over her body covering every bit of the extra cloth which would show that she is the dancer!

jalal is searching for his lady everywhere...rukaiiya comes to him from behind and says" jalal aap hume uss nachene-wali ke liye humari upeksha kar rahe hai!!!! aap yaisa soch bhi kaise sakte hai!! aap begum-e-khaas ka apmaan kar rahe hai!!!"

jalal like a lion roars and faces rukaiyya" hum shehenshah hai...aur yeh mat bhuliye ki humne aapko begum-e-khaas ka auda diya hai!!! hum chahe toh woh wapas bhi le sakte hai...aur hume kisiko bhi wajah batane ki zarrorat nahi samajte!!" he walks away...rukaiyya is shattered!!

jalal is talking to his soldiers" mahal ke saare darvaje bandh karo!! mujhe woh aurat kisi bhi haal mein chahiye!!!"

atgah khan" hukum ki tameer hogi shehenshah!!"

jalal walks towards his hojra and he sees the angoori baag...he sees some lady sitting with a black shrug covering her up...

he walks towards her...jodha realizes that some1 is behind her...she gets scared...jalal comes from the back and says" kaun hai waha??" jodha realizes its too late to run away...she just sits and waits for her master to realize the truth...

jalal comes in the front and sees the face...he says" oh jodha begum aap yahan kyun baithi hai??? sone nahi jana hai???" jodha is shocked!jalal is really unable to recognize her!!

jalal continues"waise kya aapne yaha kissi ladki ko aate dekha jo bohot khubsurat hai aur woh aaj mahal mein nach bhi rahi thi??"

jodha is unable to talk hence just moves her head left and right answering no...

jalal"theek hai..aap sone jayiye..sha ba khair jodha begum" he walks away...jodha is numb then realizes that she got saved...

jodha walks back to her hojra...she takes off her attire and smiles seeing it...she remembers jalal coming down and sitting on the stage to watch her...

she remembers his words!!

she walks towards her bed..and closes her eyes!!

jalal goes into his hojra and something pricks his foot...he picks it up...its a payal!! he looks at it and remembers the way the lady had entered the diwaan-e-khaas...and the sound of her payal!

he holds the payal tightly and says to himself hum aapko dhund leyge!!

"jodha!jodha!"moti wakes jodha up...jodha says" jya baat hai moti aab toh raat bhi samapt nahi hua..." moti" jodha shehenshah yahan hai"

jodha wakes up immediately!! she sees jalal standing in front of her!!

jalal" hum dono ko akela chood diya jaye"

moti" ji shehenshah"

jalal walks towards jodha...his eyes are staring right into jodha's...

next chapter: "jodha begum woh aap hi thi naa??" jodha is shocked by jalal's question
