He will have to give security under HB or Salima or someone trusted, then they have to be in harem & he need to keep extra security for JO as she is pregnant and anyone can attack her..

Jallu will surely much more distracted especially thinking of JO security & her safety..You are right shraddha jallu as a warior shoudl think of people, now he is fight against his sister & mother and just fight against his feelings, but when he gets JO pregnancy news he will surely want to be with her 24/7, as he doesn't want to loose this chance again..

I am not critical of Jodha's decision.. more upset of their portrayal of a floundering emperor, Jalal... and of the bolded statement above that the makers have made us believe what Jalal is...

He is not the first Emperor who was desperate for a waaris Abhi.. but, he definitely was a very powerful military strategist... and this we know of even records stated by Abhay.. their depiction is becoming very lopsided..

They can show an empathetic dad wannabe turning into a ferocious soldier too.. that's how most of our jawans and soldiers posted are, aren't they? They watch, witness and fight in their bloodiest of battles when on duty.. but when they're home with their kids they're typical daddy material!

This is why our country and most others give a handful of professions the greatest respect - teachers, doctors and soldiers... (not to undermine other professions) but these three involve a lot of sacrifices! 😳

Shraddha I agree with you points.. But Jalaal is desperate to have a waris, the news will spread wild already he has seen so many Miscarriages and would not give the responsibility of preganant wife to someone else.. That's why real Akbar also taken pregnant JO with him & also left her in Salim chisti ashram...

Even though he is a king, but he feels much more to safeguard his unborn kid especially now when he is fighting against his blood (mother& sister).. If the war is against other king he would fight keeping his feelings aside..

I think we are making the mistake of putting the experience of today's world to a historical situation. Medical science is very advanced today, child birth is no big deal. But imagine the situation 400 years, a king desperate for a heir, surrounded by bloodthirsty relatives waiting for a chance to kill him and take the throne in the absence of an heir.

Akbar in the time leading to Salim's birth was a desperate man and that is a recorded fact. His barefoot walk to Salim Salim Chist attests to that. He had reason to be apprehensive, in those days there were much greater incidents of things going wrong, even child birth death of the mother was a common occurrence.

In recorded history, Akbar personally took part in battles only in the early part of his life, by the time of Salim's birth he had delegated this responsibility to his generals.

That's true but this is his early life na.. when he was still actively involved in wars.. I have no doubts at all that Akbar was desperate and that his life/waaris life was in danger.. but would he put those above the risk to the lives of scores of praja.. their depiction of his soul talk shows like he would rather be beside his wife rather than at the battlefield?

And as a husband what really could he do being beside Jodha to ensure her pregnancy was safe more than the emotional support.. . whereas at the war camp, his support would be invaluable! There would be no replacement for him..

Jo did right in hiding news from jalal. Do u remember a scene where he will tell jo that he is ready to lose his kingdom for his waaris whthen he came to know about an attack on ruqu during her fake prego drama. From this we can know how much he wanted to be a dad and is not afraid of losing his throne and kingdom for his son sake.
now if jo says about it he will deffo not go for war for her safety and he might lose his kingdom. So what jo did was correct and for a person like jalal whose only wish was to have a son will never be able to leave his wife who is pregnant alone and go for war...Especialy after all the various kinds of dramas and attacks he has seen in his life on his pregnant wives..

What use would a king under such incredible stress be on the battlefield? He would be liable to make mistakes and in a war that means death. Akbar was a bold and rash General, surprising the enemy with his audacity. I can't imagine these traits flourishing when his mind is preoccupied by the health of his wife and the life of his child.

If we think logically, we know that in this situation there is no need for him to fight personally. His generals are good enough. The king defends the capital, the generals fight in the field.

if jodha told him he may not fight
he will want to take care of mother and child
so it will be a distraction for him
simple as that
