I agree with you Hena... though I know many might not agree with my views...
This is what I'd typed elsewhere too...
In those days kings had many wives.. it would have been quite common for one (or more wife to be pregnant) when the king was away at war.. even the news of the birth of his children he would have got when at war camp..he would have had to wait for months before he could come back and see his child/children... and all kings/emperors who left on wars did have a certain amount of risk with their wives (pregnant or not) and children either being in capital alone or with them at battle camp.. so that is the risk a Shehenshah has and will always has - a risk that comes with great power! That should not let him flounder from his duty (hopefully they show nothing like that)
Socho, even today when army/military beckons a soldier for duty at the border or overseas... can he give reason that his wife is pregnant and that he wants to stay back (this when the men have only one wife and one small family)... they HAVE to go! They eventually get the news over the phone/letters...and when their duty is finished they return sometimes after an entire year!
They should show Jalal's heart being melted by the news, but him still taking his stance as a soldier...since he's the chief commander of his forces... we must remember, the lives of many many women and children and dependent on him.. he's the father of them all... not just of his own waaris..
