Jodha reached home later that evening. She was still feeling ecstatic. Jalal's kisses had effortlessly sent her into her bliss world, and it was still evident from the after-effects she was experiencing. She was smiling uncontrollably, as she gave the cab driver directions to her house. Her face had a glow; she had experienced something like that for the first time, and she had found that moment to be extremely beautiful. The way Jalal had read and understood the unspoken words in her eyes had touched her immensely. She soon reached her apartment complex and paid the cab driver. She headed towards the lobby and waited for the elevator, all the while thinking about Jalal. She reached her house and rang the door-bell. Mainavati opened the door and happily greeted her but Jodha, being in her own world, swiftly ignored her and went to her room. Mainvati was dumb-founded at her behaviour. She quickly changed to her clothes and headed to the dinner table, still in her dream land. However, Mainavati's voice tore through her thoughts.

Mainavati - Kya hua, Jodha beta? Where are you lost? I even said Hi to you but you just went ahead without even looking. Is everything alright?

Jodha (embarrassed) - Umm...oh...nothing Ma! Just thinking about work!

Mainavati - Work? Then why were you smiling? Kaam ke baare mein sochkar itni khushi!

Jodha (shocked) - Umm..yeah! I am really enjoying the work nowadays!

Mainavati - Chalo, at least you are happy now. I am glad that you are happy working at this office now

Jodha - Haan!
