Divi,

Here's my take on the episode. It was good in parts, but yes the day belonged to TM. Here's a blow by blow account:

1. Hedarida Haider - (Hedarida is a Kannada word, which mean scared, and I put it in here cause it sounded fun. But the scene reminded me of Jodha's pre-marriage scenes, same sense of betrayal, same frustrations, same doe-like scared eyes...😆

Of course our boy didn't do anything dramatic like burning his clothes, but, you could see he would rather die than get married to the Kabul fossil. His uncle played the speechy samaritan and told, you win some, you lose some, although I would like to know, exactly what our Johnson's baby won. By the way, his uncle had one of those Pthan accents while the kid spoke proper Urdu remix spoken in the show. How did that happen?

2. Raging Ruq - Ruqs was typical Ruqs and gave a typical, "How could you be so careless? How could you keep the pagdi out in the open while you slept? How could you sleep with the pagdi in your room?" barrage before, Jalaal thankfully stopped her, before I could mentally practice knife throwing at her. Other than this there was nothing I could remember.

3. Jo's lamentations - Of course Ruq's DEK bhaashan had to affect our bhaashan queen, and it did. While Jallu was being told by TM & Teddy that as always they had drawn a blank (ok maybe not always with TM), Jo made an entrance. The scene was okie dokie I guess, except when Jallu told a seeti-worthy dialogue "Khubsurat aankhein behne ke liye nahi hote," which promptly brought a smile on Jo's face. Somebody please get a conditioner for our boy, his hair looked like a chidiya ka ghonsla. And yes, Jodha set the trend for present day cronyism by saying all her baandhis were pak saaf like their mistress.

4. Shen makes a stand - Had to. Thanks to Maham. Like all daily soap vamps, she was melting her tonsils with a deafening scream with the usual litany, "Oh I failed, Oh how did you get saved, I won't leave you, I won't leave the person who saved you, I won't leave the dog that barks outside the fort and 12 and disturbs my sleep, et cetera et cetera," while Maham came and with a straight face asked if Shen had done something, to which Shen blatantly lied, a few seconds of soul-reading look by MA, Shen admitted and there was an FB of her poisoning the turban (precap scene from a few episodes back,) while doing so, some of the poison spilled on her hands. MA asked her to stop her pithy guerrilla warfare and challenge Jallu face to face. (With what? Sack race? Kabaddi?Scrabble?). She asked Shen to be careful coz TM & teddy (howler) were as sharp as her. You are too kind MA. Question of the century - From where did Shen source the poison then if MA hadn't helped her?

5. MA's mahaan ideas - So MA was lounging in her hojra when her man oops girl oops friday Resham said that he had put the bottle in Zak's room. MA shut her up with the standard Deewaron ke bhi kaan hote hain dialogue. Apparently all deewars are deaf in Agra. Meanwhile her suputr confessed that he had nothing to do with the latest assassination attempt, to which MA spilled beans on Shehnaaz story.

6. DEK - The planted bottle was found by our great Mughaliya sleuths and Zak was promptly presented in DEK, given her history with poisons she was an easy scapegoat. To this Zak said once a sinner always a sinner isn't exactly correct. Jallu was unimpressed and asked the guards to put her in prison, to which Jo swiftly sprang from her place with a "Nahi!". Episode end...

7. Precap - As usual a running Shehnaaz collides with TM, e apologizes and notices the burn marks on her hand similar to his own. Poor guy looked like a boxer with all those bandages. One more reason I loved the guy is for the life of him he's not diplomatic, even after Shen fell down thanks to the collision he said, you were running near a bend so I couldn't see you. Awww Tody!

I knew the blame will come to Zakira. As we started liking her 🥱 .
First Jalal doubts her, he inform TM. TM question her in DEK next morning. Atgah found the bottle in Zak's room. Ja order her to send her to jail again but Jo interupt.
In precap SN collided with TM while running. TM says sorry and while helping her to get up from floor he noticed the burn in her hand caused by the poison 😃
That's why she needed to blame him. 😡

Yes,I will never start a Zakira fan club as I know exactly what the CVs will do after that 😆

Zakira was summoned at DEK. She was defending herself. Atgah informed Jalal about poison bottle. Jalal ordered to put Zakira in jail. Jodha opposed and said, "she is yet to prove guilty!"

precap: Todarmal-Shehnaz bumps onto each other, Shehnaz falls, TM asks her hand to help, and finds the burn mark🥳

Poor Todarmal is doing so much to investigate and Jodha and Jalal are bent on leading him astray 😉

yes, jalal always believes circumstantial evidence ... I hope he saves the day once TM is in danger and connects the dots.There is always hope.
