First of all, happy first Anniversary to Jodha Akbar, its team, IF forum members and lovely friends here!!!

Second, great posts by all. Mansi, you should send ur post as a letter to CVS and mail it to them.

Third, I want to share my journey with JA:

I have seen Rajat as Robbie in Tere liye and Paridhi as Mehek in Ruk jana nahi. I liked them in these two shows due to their characters. Actually, I Love or like actors or actresses in television world because of the characters they play not other way around (In hindi film industry it's different matter).

Unlike many here, I found Rajat as Jalal creepy and Paridhi as Jodha too simple when I caught few scenes here and there in first few episodes. I did not watch entire episodes then. I stopped watching scenes altogether. I saw the shaadi saptah week and liked it but was not hooked to it yet.What hooked me to the show was PariJat chemistry as AkDha in the tent scene on the way to Agra after their marriage (when Jodha attacks Jalal and the entire scene- it was fire onscreen). After this scene, I never stopped watching the show (even in worst tracks like Benazir track) and also caught all the episodes from the beginning of the episode. Rajat and Paridhi both grew on me as Jalal and Jodha and NOW I ONLY watch JA because of PariJat as Akdha. I cannot imagine anyone else as Jodha and Akbar other than Paridhi and Rajat.

Other reason I love this show: Real historical love story. This show gave real faces to Jodha Akbar and feel connected to them. After watching this show and reading Abhay's historical posts, I am more intrigued by REAL HK and Akbar. I respect and love them more now.

My fav.scenes/tracks:

1) First soul talk : it was lovely and seemed so real and gave historical and epic feeling to the show.

2) Jodha's entry

3) Jalal's sword fight when he hears of Jodha's first time.

4)Jodha saving Abdul in front of all by giving reason that he is handicapped

5) Jalal seeing Jodha first time (Rajat looked handsome in that outfit)

6) Jodha seeing Jalal first time in reflection

7) Jodha telling Moti that she prays that when history is written, regardless if her love story is mentioned or not, but she wants that at least one page is dedicated to her who changed the life of Jalal. (This scenes was when moti says that she should think of her love story and find a good groom for herself rather than thinking about Jalal)

8) Entire Shaadi Saptah week especially muh dikhai, conditions, their wedding, joote-churayi scene, Maan-Jalal first meet) (Paridhi looked beautiful)

9) Tent scene ( first night after marriage on way to Agra)

10) Hamida praising Jodha when she sees her first time and Jalal smirking and feeling proud.

11) Jodha showing farmaan to save Moti and stopping Jalal by holding his arm (PariJat looked like a gorgeous couple)

12) First sword fight

13)Rahim tugging Jodha's duppata and Jalal commenting on it (I always love Rahim-jodha-jalal scenes)

14)First aarti scene

15) Jalal thinking of Jodha's gift for his heir at night and his sexy husky voice at its best when modualted

16) Jodha explaining the meaning of poem to Jalal

17) Entire scene where Jodha vents her anger and frustration to Jalal why she accepted the blame- Paridhi was awesome

18) Jodha giving dagger looks when Jalal acquits Jodha and her brothers (Paridhi looked gorgeous especially ehr expression)

19) Jalal walking onto Jodha when she is undressing and giving her two options

20) Jodha feeling abandoned when MV does not take her at amer (heart wrenching scene in DEK and hated MV- she could have said all that in private) and reflections of her alter egos

21) horse-ride

22) Jalal relating to Jodha and her condion

23) Entire Ajmer track from sharing tent until Jalal being brought to Agra (loved the Dargah scene where Jodha prayed Islamic way- it was divine and beautiful and also how jalal was stealing glances)

24) Entire Sukanya wedding track (perfect blend of politics and romance)- LOVED ooh aah scene, story telling scene, Kali ma scene where Jalal bowed for Jodha, kumkum scene on Jalal's nose, jalal watching jodha dance and Jalal's smirk when he gives fort papers to sukanya's FIL- my fav. smirk of Jalal so far- it was killer smirk)

25) Jalal admiring Jodha when she is sleeping on way back to Agra

26) Jalal standing by Jodha for NO conversion

27) Jodha and Jalal's lunch date- it was so sweet and lovely

28) Jodha imitating Jalal in Angoori baag

29) Jodha saying she does not hate Jalal anymore

30) Ruqaiyya thanking Jodha for saving her marriage in Tasneem track- i loved that scene- it was so sweet and lovely to watch their camaderie.

31) Jodha singing bhajan infront of Jalal as a punishment for not going into chess room

32) Jalal's gift to Jodha

33) Jodha's gift to Jalal (Paridhi looked so divine and beautful when they went first time in simple clothes- she was wearing yellow)

34) Jalal thanking Jodha in her room for gift

37) Jodha telling bharmal she won't forgive him as Jodha of Mughal Khandan for hurting her husband and her devar's maan

39) Jalal in dargah and asking for jodha's life (Rajat was outstanding) and Jalal praying to kanha

40) Soul confession- Astral talk- (Loved this scene- PariJat were simply amazing and impressive)

41) Jodha's hands interwined in Jalal after she is conscious and Jalal looking back

42) Jodha's reaction when Jalal is giving speech to awam for thanking them for prayers(Paridhi was superb)

43) Jalal coming to meet Jodha and offering prasad

44) Jalal and Jodha talking about the incident and benazir- LOVED when Jodha and Jalal breaks into laughter slowly- it was MAGICAL

45) Jodha asking to go to angoori baag and saying aap hamare pati hain na?

46) Angoori bagh scene- PURE MAGIC

47) Jodha insisting to go with Jalal on a trip to Baba chisti's place

48) Entire badal-kajri track until Ruq interrupted- especially loved when aKDHA were stealing glances at each other, Akdha talking inr marwari language at the bank of river, at food stall, in jail, in jungle alone, jodha cooking for jalal, feeding scene (edited ) hearing Baba chisti and tying dhaaga on tree and their expressions were delight to watch

49) hair- scenting scene- with dhoop

50) Jalal encouraging Jodha for elections and Jalal watching Jodha when she is handling harem.

51) Jalal caressing Jodha's feet when she is asleep and also Jodha talking to moti when jalal is spending time with ruq at night (Paridhi was looking simply stunning when she is lying on couch and with sad expressions)

52) Rajat's acting when Jalal confronted jodha after catching her with sujamal

53) Paridhi's acting when Jodha confronted Jalal at the river and when she was talking to kanha before Bharmal entered.

54) When Jodha thinks she is hallucinating Jalal in amer and Jalal watching her expressions- loved Parijat's expressions

55) Jalal removing pilgrim tax and jalal doing tulsi puja

56) Jodha telling bharmal she made a mistake and wants to go back to her Shahenshah

57) Jalal's happiness when he founds jodha is cominng back and sharing it with all and his preparations and waiting for her at balcony from morning to night

62) Jalal cajoling jodha in her room- Akdha's expressions were lovely

63) Sweetest and loveliest scene- Akdha wishing each other happy anniversary

64) aKDHA scene when distributing things in jail

65) Akdha praising each other's looks and admiring themselves in mirror- loved loved this scene- akdha's expressions were bang-on

66) Jalal teasing jodha and talking about the baby

67) Entire scene of Akdha confession and their union of heart,mind, body and soul- Best SR ever on tv- so classy, sensous, romantic and beautiful.

68) Best morning after scene

69) Jodha saying she will do seva of ruq for jalal and his child and jalal's reaction

70) all the scenes when Jalal is trying to spend time with Jodha in his room, her room, ruq's room, angoori baagh everywhere- makoda scene too-love dit when jodha looks around if any soldiers there and then gives him hug

71) Entire episode when Akdha does havan together, walk barefoot and sword fights with their enemy together and also when Jodha learns to do namaaz- so divine and pure

72) Paalna scene when Jodha shows to Jalal and their hug

73) Jodha telling jalal she is not afraid of him and is there for him even when he is angry (when he is on way to ruq's room- wished she did not stop him and let him punish ruq)

74) Jalal hugging Jodha and sharing his sorrow and telling jodha how she is difft and is handling his relations and only wants love and affection

75) Jodha putting her head on his shoulder and holding his arm and says that there is no favor but only love from her side. LOVED that moment-picture perfect

76) Jalal sharing his dream of baby and paalna

77) Jalal praising jodha when sikka is revealed in front of all

78) Jalal getting Akbar title

79) Jodha saying hume aapse kitna prem hain humare akbar

80) Jodha hugging jalal out of sheer happiness and feeling proud of her husband

82) Akdha's expressions when jalal tricks her into saying his name

83) Jalal asking to jodha to spend night with him ( liked only due to Akdha's expressions- wished jodha had said yes but it's alright)

Wow such a long list...- whoever read this list and my post - kudos to u for being patient.

I hope CVS give us more scenes like above and keep me hooked because first time ever on friday I only watched Akdha scene and not entire episode ( i usually watched entire episode despit not liking repetitive and boring scenes of MA, shehnaaz, adham, ruq and now MC begum- last one has ruined the feel of the show)

Jodha Akbar is the only show that I watch daily which made me active on IF (although since last a month or so has not been regular due to too much negativity- IF JA used to be the best forum on IF and had even received most peaceful forum award. I have noticed so many friends are not as active anymore due to negativity and all the fun gone).

I hope JA and IF JA both got their magic back soon!!!

Request to CVS:

1) Please make Akdha intelligent (more than villains) and redeem their characters

2) Please close previous tracks before introducing new ones and not entangle all the tracks and make it boring and confusing.

3) Please for god's sake show a balance of villains and leads (not 80% villains and 20% leads- make it 50% leads (solo and duet), 20% side characters and 20% villains or something along these lines

4) Please write MORE novel, fresh, meaningful Akdha scenes and SHOW us EPIC LOVE- u can show passion.love and chemsitry without kissing too- you just have to know how to write scenes- fantastic IF JA members can help you with this)

5) Please show Akbar and his navratnas, his reforms and Jodha (HK)'s influence in politics and her elevation of powers. show well-shot war scenes too.

6) Please punish villains and REVEAL EACH of their crimes from beginning until end IN FRONT OF ALL when it's their farewell time- e.g. Maham Anga- from her hand in Ruq's miscarriage till Chand's begum...- another e.g. show Ruq's misdeeds and conspiracies too in front of all and if not then punish her at least in private and then redeem her if needed.

Request to Zee and EK:

Promote JA properly and show important milestones as promo like Akbar title etc than promoting villanis and also show promos week in advance and do not show fake promos or fool viewers and DO NOT TAKE US for GRANTED!!!

Thank you so much EK and ZEE for bringing this epic real love story and Selecting Rajat and Paridhi as LEADS!!! May this 2nd years bring more novelty, positivity and new heights to show and brings back the magic!!

1. Jodha's introduction as the darling of Amer palace and catching pigeons 😆

2. The gangaur track (an eternal fav) The admiration in Jalal's eyes made me swoon. He was blown away and i was too. He looked so good in the Rajvanshi outfit and teeka, and his expressions took my breath away. That moment I fell in love with Jalal And Jodha looked so pristine in her palki, moving slowly towards the ghat, unaware that her life was going to change in an unbelievable way. This track was very soul-stirring and magical. It was the best start to a love story that i have ever seen ⭐️⭐️❤️

3. Ruqaiya's and Jalal's all-knowing and smirky eye lock upon Jalal's return to Agra from Amer. Smiley Suri played Ruqu with so much swag. And that swag was on full-display in this scene. I just imagine what would have happened if Smiley hadn't left. Interesting stuff for sure 😉

4. Entire marriage week. It was filled with awesome scenes. Can't pinpoint one alone ⭐️⭐️⭐️

5. In the tent, when JJ were returning from their marriage to Agra. Jalal marched into her tent in anger but all his anger dissolved away the moment he saw Jodha sleeping like an angel (or so he thought 😉) and couldn't help himself to a closer look. As he inched towards Jodha tentatively, she sensed him and swiftly attacked with a sharp knife. But Jalal was faster (like he was almost expecting it 😉) and caught the knife by it's blade. Though the knife cut into his hand deeply, it seemed he didn't feel the pain. He was just so enraptured and stared with a savage glee at the beautiful Jodha, whose face was a mixture of terror and fury. Not exactly romantic but this scene was very intense and perfectly shot. I loved it

6. JJ first swordfight

7. The Ajmer trip and JJ praying together at the dargah. So divine and beautiful. The build-up to their divine connection started here. Their scenes in the dargah were so serene. It was magic. I wanted them to stay there and never return to Agra ⭐️

8. The entire Sukanya marriage track. It was romantic, good politics and JJ nok-jhoks at it's best. This was also the first time Jodha defended Jalal in front of her family. Also, Jalal was his teda self and taught Sukanya's FIL a lesson he would remember for life and blessed Sukanya with his favorite fort. All this without shedding a drop of blood in the Amer palace. The best application of saap bhi mar jaye and lathi bhi na toote. This track was how rest of the serial should have been. Both with good political conspiracies and a healthy dose of romance

9. The DEK scene in which Jalal forsakes his throne so that Jodha gets to keep her religion. No tedaness here. Jalal was most sincere and earnest in keeping his promise to Jodha. Loved Jalal and JJ's eating from the same thali thereafter 😳

10. Jalal's heart-wrenching speech to common public in which he says his awaam to be his janasheen. It was a beautiful speech 👏👏👏

11. The look of surprise and joy on Jodha's face when Jalal gifts her a kanha basuri on her birthday. That prompted Jodha to give something equally thoughtful to Jalal on his birthday ❤️

12. Jalal's lusty dreams during the Tansen concert ☺️

13. The sweet confessions and words in Jodha's hojra right until the dhakka.

14. Jalal's pleading in the dargah to save Jodha's life. Jalal was so earnest. He could have moved the mountains with his pleas and prayers. His grief and helplessness was so palpable, i almost cried with him 😭 It was Rajat's best.

15. JJ's soul-talk when Jalal stops Jodha from leaving him. It was a beautiful scene. Their souls talked to each other. So gorgeous and ethereal. Paridhi shined in this part, more than Jalal/Rajat who was at his gentle authoritative best. When Jalal stops Jodha by firmly holding her wrist and says he loves her, Jodha turns to him slowly with tears brimming in her eyes. Her eyes were filled with love and her will to live renewed. Pari didn't need to say a word, her eyes said it all. What a scene ⭐️

16. JJ's angoori bagh scene in night. It was very very cute and showed their reluctance to act on their feelings. It was so endearing 😳

17. A sick Jodha's eyes filled with pride when she hears Jalal's heartfelt speech to his awaam for helping him return his Jo to him. Carried by her baandhis, Jodha's eyes filled with tears of joy at her husband's earnestness and love for her 😳

18. The entire Badal-Kajri track till BEK's entry. Though her presence didn't stop JJ romance, I was very disturbed by Ruq's arrival. She is just so irritating! Also, CVs edited out a scene which shown in precap from the actual serial, where JJ washed each other's hand post a meal. Hayye, it was so romantic but CVs 😡

19. The scene in Jalal's hojra post the accidental boat ride after Ruqu has left. He caught her wrist in time, stopped her from leaving and made her sit beside him 😳 Jodha's almost love confession and Jalal's look of surprise was adorable! After this she got up to leave and stopped midway to the entrance. She looked back at the Shenshah with a confused face, thinking if she had spoken too much and then left outright. Leaving Jalal to ponder over what she had just said 😳

20. All the flashbacks shown in separation track. Though they never really happened, all of them were a treat to watch. They were just so so adorable 😳

21. JJ in Jalal's hojra tearfully saying sorry to each other (though the whip thing by Jalal was a bit too much) and the hug thereafter. Jodha slowly raised her hands around Jalal and lightly hugged him back. Their forehead touching after that was so intense and passionate. It just made up for all the things they had suffered in the past month (and we too 😉)

22. The awesome, royal and classy SR. It was so befitting the great king and his great queen. It was slow and sensuous. Loved every moment of it ☺️ The morning after was even better. The loving husband and wife couldn't get enough of each other 😉

23. The recent JJ fight in jungle and even romancing in the midst of it all. The lep love didn't leave then too. But it was the first time in 2 weeks i welcomed a little lep love. Everything about this episode was perfect. We saw the old Jo and Jalal trusted his baaghin implicitly. A brilliant episode after a really long time with romance and a deadly fight 👍🏼

Have more fav scenes but could add just these before leaving 😊

I did not have laptop yesterday night and today some major electrical repairs going on, so everything on inverter (which is running out )

loved reading all the posts here...so many memories...its true all the initial episodes of JA were like fire on screen...

I noticed, not anyone mentioned "Mohan" track...the most anticipated track on the forum...😆

I loved Jodha saving Jalal..her desperation to save him, her endless attempts, the way she rode the horse, tying him with her...it was beautiful..and then her famous lep saved his life

Absolutely wonderful post Maddy. Hats off. 👏.

Like you the only reason I am watching this is because of Pari and Rajat's performances. The way they bring life to Jodha and Jalal's characters is what's keeping me hooked.

From day one I loved Jodha's character and she would always have my loyalty as a viewer. Jodha's loyalty, kindness, bravery, fearlessness, honesty and honorable nature made me connect with her instantly. The fact that she has been able to go from having no one on her side when she first came to Agra to being not only the favorite and most beloved wife of the Shehenshah but also to build wonderful relationships with Salima and HB and others shows what an amazing person she truly is. The way Pari plays Jodha character is what makes Jodha even more special. I really can't imagine anyone else playing Jodha.

Also when it comes to Jalal I really can't imagine anyone playing Jalal's character than Rajat. So my thanks to these two actors for doing an amazing job.
