Thanks! there is no point in venting out frustration ... No one will listen. But the CVs do gift us brilliant scenes and we will just have to wait and watch for those.

I hope this track gives greater prominence to Todarmal / Shaurya Singh. That is the best we can hope for.

Divya,you write the most warming write-ups. This was beautiful

Todar Mal is definitely one of my fav supporting characters in the show. Abdul,who was seen in the initial episodes was another favourite.

They both had this connectionwith Jalal,that made someone as paranoid as him(his paranoia is only bcoz so man yof his confidants had backstabbed him)trust them

Although as ABhay pointed out,there is afair chance this must have actually happened,it still grosses me out. I think thats the whole point for this track,empathise with TM?

You know what Abhay.. my gripe is not that they're showing something like this (I did guess intrigue to be a part of court life - watching The Tudor series would give a very good idea of how far all this went on too...)

But I must say for the sake of TRPs, ONLY these sort of tracks are being concentrated on - it is not being balanced by other political affairs like Divi said...

Things like the 'Akbar' naming, coin issuing could have been stretched for at least 2-3 episodes..

but that's wrapped within one.. ajmer sharif trips are all wrapped within 1 episode...

Wars.. important wars tho are barely a mention.. one scene Maan Singh or Hakim walks out/Agra doors closed, next scene they're back😆

They're not showing any of his literary/architectural/artistic achievements of the time at all.. 😕 Did nothing of the sort happen yet?

Yet, fake pregnancies, vishkanyas and lusting, colour colour vomits, attempted rape, extra marital affairs, misunderstandings - all these sleazy affairs are being stretched and concentrated to no end!

And they end each track with Jalal crying buckets 😆 (I'm grateful he didn't cry so much after Ruqs FP)

In the Tudor series there was a LOT of sleazy affairs shown like happened in the Tudor court.. but there was just as much importance shown to reforms, expansions, revolts, wars, attraction, love, religion, etc etc!
