By now you should know how much I admire your views...I agree with you 99% of the time...this one time I did not...and expressed it...please don't take it to heart.😊..my frustration is not directed towards you but the show makers...Please read what Rashmi81 has written...these people do not have views/opinions/principles...the only goal they have is to generate maximum profits...nothing wrong with that...I am guilty of practicing it too...after all, this is a material world where success counts...but not at the cost of principles...not when we sending a wrong message to the masses...not when we are making an innocent person look bad...and when I see people do that, I get enraged because there is absolutely no compulsion to do what they are doing. You may be right that I didn't interpret your post as I should have...So let me explain how I interpreted it

My post was made in a different regard. i made my post owing to the following reason...

The clause given was >>> TM being one of the 9 Gems, and hence he can NOT be accused.. In response, i made this comment. that EVEN THE 9 GEMS of Akbar can be accused of such an event.!. As an example, i mentioned Birbal.

But, having said all this, let me tell the other side of story, i ALSO believed PREVIOUSLY that BIRBAL also was clear of any such accusation. But, my BELIEF instantly went down drains, when i read such a stuff, on him about his acussation. Though that accusation was ALSO a FALSE one. So, how can one say that something could have happened and something could not.?. It takes JUST one LINE of a historical text to change the BELIEF into DIS-BELIEF.

Tell me, in future if they show Birbal also, being accused like this. I am sure that such posts will be made... (don't know about others) but I know that happened .!!!!!!!!!!.

If something hasnt been documented, then I will assume that it did not happen...I trust you as a sincere history researcher...if you haven't read it...then it did not happen😊 Also, I DID NOT write that the 9 gems could do nothing wrong...If there is documented evidence or a suggestion that Birbal was accused of a crime like this and Ekta chooses to show it, I will be fine with it(somewhat...as long as they don't send a wrong message to viewers)...But TM is not Birbal...so why did they cook up this story?...they could have shown it when Birbal comes in picture...Adham committed war crimes...Is it fair to show Atgah committing war crimes instead of Adham?...they are two different individuals...just like TM and Birbal...So we can't group people and assume that they were accused of a crime based on the category they belong to... I'll give you an example from todays world... just because Bill Clinton was accused of having an affair with an intern, is it ok to make a movie on Obama( naatkiye roopanter) and show him as having an affair with an intern...I am certainly not a fan of Obama, but I still feel that it will be unfair to him if something like this is ever done and I will certainly never support it...THIS WAS MY POINT.

Now, i have marked my reasons above , that why i made that post. My comment was made on the ""historical feasibilty"" of such a promo. No where i said taht such accusations can be or should be taken lightly. You've brought the PRESENT time scenario in the world, in this discussion. For that , i would like to make my stand clear that > I, for one, SIMPLY HATE this 4-letter word --> "R*PE" , so much so that i did not EVEN use this WORD in my writeup, instead i used the term > "outraging modesty". And, i am against glorification or justification of any such acts. Recently, Adham Khan was shown doing such an act (as he misbehaved with Shehnaaz).. Agreed, there may not be any such character like Shehnaaz in history, with whom Adham misbehaved, but there were MANY others. And, i DID mention in my previous post, opening all events from history about all the characters may leave a bad taste here. And, better such things remain buried. Hence, i wrote only few events quite carefully.!.

But, my post talked ONLY about " feasibilty " of such an event. The argument put up after the promo was a "subjective" one, dealing with "HISTORICAL figures, with special reference to Akbar's 9 Gems". And my response was JUST a humble clarification for that argument, that EVEN the 9 GEMS can be accused.!!!!!!.. Now the topic has been totally changed, in present discussion.

Historical feasibility??? So they are off the hook because it is a 'feasibility'...not good enough for me when a respected man's honor is being questioned. There is a feasibility that MA was whipped in public for the crimes she committed...will they show it?...NO...because in EK's sadist world, it is only the good people who are shown to be humiliated( wish I knew this before I started watching this show)..

Yes, I brought up the present time scenario in the discussion because the naatkiye roopanter is being watched by the people belonging to present time...not the people from 16th century. Can we deny the fact that movies and television have an impact on the society. I also hate that four letter R word...I have my reasons for having a strong opinion on this...but trust me it does not matter to the victim how we choose to call it..if anything shown on tv helps people mock or question a victim, I dont understand why it needs to be shown...I could still see some justification if it really happened...but it did not...so why show something as sensitive as this in the name of entertainment?..and there is no historical justification here...they picked the wrong character...show Adham being accused and humiliated and send the right message to masses...And, just because the character is TM( relatively insignificant in history), should we tolerate it?... what if a tv serial does the same thing to another historical character like MP, Shivaji Maharaj or Bhagat Singh? Not ok to show a lip lock or foreplay on TV...but massacring a respected man is ok????? Just because he is not alive and cannot challenge how they are showing him, they can get away with it?

Why would i give an example of Razia, Man Singh or Birbal to anyone else.?. My friend would not be any historical figure. :) I understand, and i have seen , such a clause being used to defame people in real lives. Also, seen/heard, observed such victims. I whole heartedly humbly appreciate your views which you have written after seeing and observing this World MUCH more than me, and I know you must have dealt with such cases, but i also know about this, coming from a family of Administrators, Lawyers, Doctors, i have seen/heard such events from VERY close quarters (and i feel equally bad for them), and i totally deplore these acts. BUT, Just see, why i gave those examples.?. I have repeated my reason many times now, >>> BEING A HISTORICAL FIGURE DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN NOT BE ACCUSED, AND PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ACCUSED. But, Abhay, historical figures were also someone's friends and relatives...they are someone's ancestors...if their character is being assassinated by a greedy showmaker, how is that acceptable?

yes, they can be accused...but my argument remains the same...they were people who were once alive...they walked on this planet just like you and me...if there is some evidence, then it is still acceptable... but certainly not in the name of entertainment...not when the crime they are being shown to be accused of is this heinous.

If EK makes a serial on mother Teresa or Gandhi and show them to be accused of committing mass murders in the name of naatkiye roopanter, can we say that the people who protest against that depiction are wrong???

Yes, the show can focus on MA and Adham's death. And, should have shown them dead, after 4 months of JJ wedding. But, why are they showing them alive till now.?. I have a reason here also. In Tabqa-at-i-Akbari, the date of Death of Adham and MA is given to be in April and May 1563. Going by that account can we now, get an "excuse" or explanation of seeing MA and Adham so much.?. More shocking are the tales of MA being alive later also. Though, the world accepts Abul Fazl as an authority here, and places MA's death in 1562 only, and i also believe this, but giving you another side of the coin. MA was SO VICIOUS that one can't imagine here. The serial has shown MA as some one who loved Jalal. But, i strongly oppose this. It was always Jiji Anga. Neither MA gave her milk to Jalal, as shown in the serial. Nor she saved him when Akbar was placed in front of the Canons in Kabul. She was also behind the Elephant Attack on Akbar in 1556..!!!!!...She was also behind Bairam's assasination.. Her servants attacked Akbar, owing to their faithfulness to her.. I have said certain events from history should be allowed to remain at rest..!..

I just used MA's case as an example.. I trust your posts to read about her...but if they choose to keep her alive for another 100 yrs what can I do...their choice...as long as they dont use her to deliberately assassinate the character of a decent man in the name of fun and entertainment I am fine with her longetivity ...but there has to be a limit to the naatkiye roopanter

Recently, "scratching" etc. , a Mughal Emperor was being shown as an attempt at glorifying Romance.?. On the other hand, when Jodha pushed Jalal via her "Dhakka", that was deplored as attack on Emperor's prestige. double Standards.?.There was dissent when it was shown that, Mughal Begums were drunk and had party. Also, when Akbar decided a case about a Man and his 2 wives, then also it was questioned that what crap is being shown.?. An Emperor should not be shown like this..How many of us know that Akbar never HEARD such a case in private hearing.?. Also, there was a recent question by one of my friends that any bandi could be killed in the harem and no one came to know about that.?. What was the Emperor doing.?. Yes, many times i do not like the portrayal of Jodha and Jalal and fell quite irritated, but i do not question EVERYTHING in every episode, too. I kept quiet as such events happened, in the harem, and did not find it a point to write on that and explain to anyone. What all happened in the Harem and what all we are being shown is a very " dignified " version. I am writing all this today, as i am being questioned here. Can write on more Harem events, and how the so-called Royal Queens " behaved " with others as many feel so, but stop for now, or Mansi will come with her Stick here :)

what you said is also true...it is ok to see the same thing in two different ways...the promo irked me and from whatever little I know about you, it irked you too...we just dealt with it in two different ways...we all have developed a certain level of tolerance for naatkiye roopanter...my tolerance gave in after watching the promo...you were able to hold on to yours and tried lifting everyone's spirits...unfortunately, we were not in the mood to listen to that...because this time they crossed the line...but I certainly appreciate your efforts... at the risk of being attacked by all your angry friends, you took a brave and positive approach.

She was too cunning. So, we will get such scenes. I guess We have to adapt ourselves to it.

As expected y'day, We are going to see Mchuchak in details about her rise to power and then fall. Munim's son Ghani, is going to be killed at the behest of Fazal and Mchuchak. Fazal wont spare his nephew either. Later his own son will be slained very treacherously. :(

Alright, now coming to other part of the episode. I was somewhat fine with it. I was expecting all the 3 begums preparing for Meena Bazaar. Btw, this time it seems that Jalal has kept this Meena Baazaar not for any sort of HARD competition. We indication indication from Jodha - Shahehnshah is not biased. Also, as per precap, he said - all the gifts by 3 of you are good. I want them to be presented to me in DEK. And, then Shehnaz will accuse TM in DEK.?.
But, still, there is some reason for us to see the Meena Bazar. MB has been kept for some reason. We need to wait to see it. :)

I saw many views which were against keeping MB. Surely some reason is there,

Overall, i will say, the new promo has left a bad taste in many of us. Hence, y'day's episode seemed not so good. :) But, it was fine. Not so bad.

The dissapointment among many friends here, lies in the fact that TM is a respected historical figure, and among the 9 gems of Akbar. Hence, the CV's should not experiment on him. :)

Just see that ANYONE can accusse any person of ANYTHING even today...We can not tie the tongue of a person. If TM is being accussed, then this does NOT means he is guilty. Ab koi kuch bhi keh sakta hai. :(

Being a historical figure does not means , one can not be accussed. Infact, the people who are in power are the ones, who most likely to be accussed of such idiotic and baseless allegations. Remember, this is politics and we do have historical evidences where such charges were used, to have strong hold in the Siyasat. Few examples...

1. Razia Sultana was accussed in 1240, of having EMA and polyandry, by the Ulemas because they wanted to dethone her from the Takht of Delhi and sully her image in masses, because the masses supported her. So, you see, here the ''ULEMAS'' levied such a zilch charge against a lady. Ulemas are supposed to be pious people, when they can go to such an extent, what about any other person.?.

2. Birbal was once accussed of a charge which involved similar matter, as in the present TM case. That time even the Ulemas conspired against Birbal as they were jeolous of his closeness with Akbar, and backed this idiotic charge, and even spread this message like wildfire in the Sultanate to sully Birbal's image. Though that allegation held no ground. Dont want to write more on this.

3. Man Singh was ince accussed of cheating with Akbar by the people who resented his UNBREAKABLE BONDING with him. And so many people FALSELY testified against him that Akbar did not believe it but was highly puzzled and finally decided to visit Ajmer Sharif for help from Chisti Sahab. Remember that accussing Man Singh of cheating with Akbar is worst possible allegation...!!!!!!!..

4. Man Singh was also accussed of misbehaving with Muslims and an attempt was made to show him a bigot. But that attempt of the Ulemas and gang also failed. Of all the people, Man singh was the one who being FALSELY accused by his enemies MOST OF THE TIMES, as he was ALWAYS there with Akbar and present with him like his SHIELD. And, many people were jeolous of all this.

5. Before executing his brother Dara Shikoh, Aurangzeb levied such allegations on him, which i can't even write here. Dara Shikoh was said to be a SAINT.!!!!. And, in order to gather public support, Aurangzeb tried this move. CAN ONE IMAGINE A SAINT TO BE ACCUSSED OF SUCH ZILCH ALLEGATIONS..?..

6. An example is present in modern Indian History also. Sirajuddaulah, the ruler of Bengal, about the Black Hole Incident..

I have many examples, but cannot write all this from mobile. Infact, the higher your position in nobility, more is your image at stake.

I have given some examples which are similar to TM's case, some of which are from Akbar's time only.

Such accusations were used, in order to attain political gains AND TO HAVE PUBLIC SYMPATHY. People go to any level.

If anyone wants, i can give more examples from Mughal History itself, of similar FAKE charges. But then, i do not want to open the pages from history. Some INCIDENTS May leave a bad taste.

So, guys , i did NOT find it OTT or an attempt at the TM's image. Such events are part of Siyasat. History is replete with such examples.

Infact, see this as a positive event. This event will further create more belief in the mind of Jalal about TM. Afterall, one needs to test how deep the water runs...!!!!!!

4)n then maybe Ben rising from the dead (the most cliche EK track in most of her shows, or so I believe 😆)...

Well as per the promo is concerned ,it is really shocking but I think Jodha will support Shehnaaz as she has literally adopted her.I always say Jodha is Angelina Jolie of Mughal Harem.Why Angelina ?Well bcoz like Angelina she suffers with Obsessive Compulsive Adoption Disorder( near cousin of OCD)The way Angelina goes on adopting kids from all over the world same Jodha has adopted shehnaz,Jakira,once there was. a boy called Babu too,for few days hoshiyar was adopted and Moti is her lifetime adoption.

Meanwhile with that dress and headgear Mahchuchak looks like Kashmir ki Kali😉.In one song of the movie sharmila had same dress and headgear.Chalo lets see what happens next.
