Okay...okay the entire forum is euphoric over 'joint fight', but I personally thought that it was more like the Parokh Dandiya Fight. It didn't have a tenth of the charm and intensity that the first shamsheerbaazi scene between Jodha and Jalal had. That one was classic, it even outdid the expensively shot one in the movie.
Hard to compare right as then they were fighting each other (and both are trained) and now they are fighting extras who are not trained! At this point, I am happy Jalal still knows how to use the sword.
Are we so starved of Romance that we jump out at anything in the name of romance on screen between the couple and go gaga over it?
You hit the issue right on the nail! 😆 But I will admit I fall for Jalal's husky voice everytime. 😉
Btw how did the lep materialise out of nowhere in the dark of the night in the jungle. May be Jodha Begum, has another hunar of Accio spell. 'Accio greeny greeny half-ground lep' and the lep appears in her hands.
There was a leaf and she uses mud and she didn't tell me the recipe this time so I don't know 😆 She has powerful hands to crush the leaves?
Also was there a shoe shop in the jungle midway. The couple had their shoes just before the net lifted them in their barefoot journey.
Kya point pakda- my eyes didn't move from Jalal's face!
Worst part of it was that Jalal couldn't hear or sense the disappearance of his guards one by one. What sort of an Emperor is he? Forget Emperor, what kind of Sipaahi? Is this the man who conquered three fourths Hindustaan? Who knows...the show may end up showing Jodha Begum, the Great to fight wars and our Lallu Panju will clap hands in the background and praise her hunars.
Let's give him some time- this is not the first time Jalal is caught off guard. He is a king new to love and many have even lost their kingdom during that ... I felt Jodha and Jalal were shown as equals ... Obviously, it was Jalal who saved them first from the net ... But he does not indulge in self-praise and it is expected of him so others will not praise him... The reason they praise Jodha over the top is because she is unique for any other begum.
I actually loved the way he challenged her and said humko aap par itna to yakeen tha- ki word being itna. Loved his sense of humor. He was not being all sugary sweet.
And given his fauj is so bad, no wonder Jodha is worth more than them! It is an easy bar! 😉
