chapter 8
Jodha POV
after a few days ...
I got discharged from the hospital , the group drops me in my apartment and I sit down for a second and thinking about the decision I am making today I know it will hurt them , I hate myself for doing this but right know it feels like the right option for me. I start and get everything organised after a few hours later I hear a knock on my door , I slowly walk towards the door limping badly my ankle shots up pain every time in walking. I open the door for them, they come in and their smiling faces drop as they stare at my background.
Moti : jodha yeh Saab??
Abdul: you going somewhere??
My eyes shine with tears
Jodha: guys I wanted to tell you this earlier but
Moti: but what???
Jodha: guys am ... Going back to Paris
Their eyes looked hurt, there are so many question they want to ask me I know it.
Jodha: am so sorry
Abdul: what on earth provoked you to make such a decision ??
Akshay: jodha did you not even think about , us most importantly jalal
Jodha: I did think about you guys , I know am hurting you but my mind is telling me to do this , dad wants me home , I wanna be home.
Moti: I thought this was your home
Jodha: it is , I guys am sorry
Abdul: jalal KI barame socho
I hate hearing his name, if I tell them about what jalal I don't know what will happen And I know how much they mean to jalal even if I hate him I never. Want him to loose this family
Jodha: Abdul ... Main aur jalal we are not
They know where am going with this sentence , they widen shock
Moti: what? when?
Jodha: am really not in the mood to talk about it
There is painful moment of silence ,
Salima: if this is your decision , and you think this is right then go forward.
The group nods and we all hug, we all hop into my car which Abdul is driving I stare out the window. Right now I wanna tell them what he did to I wanna scream my loudest and cry my heart out. But I wanna control my emotions, we reach the airport I sit in the car for minute , I take a deep breathe and come out of the car Abdul grabs me a trolley and akshay loads my suitcases. They all look at me with tears eyes, we hug again I began to sob. We gently break the hug.
Abdul: so I guess this good bye.
We say each other the most painful goodbyes, and I turn around towards the departure gates, I turn around to face them and turn around gain tears just flowing out of my eyes.

Chapter 8
Jalal POV
Without even a word of goodbye she left , I burst open my eyes my head is sweating my eyes feel puffy. I slowly get up and walk back down I am going to ask her for forgiveness I know it won't be that easy but am gonna become like the old jalal that I was with jodha as am walking down I see jodha sitting in the middle of the great hall hugging her knees tightly and sobbing.
Every time she she cries is reminder of what I did , how much I entrusted her I move towards her , I rest my palm on her shoulder with a jerk he looks up to see me. She is no longer angry , but shaken. She jerks my hand away and gets up she quickly wipes her tears. I am going to talk about that night I have been hiding it way to long.
Jalal: jodha ... You didn't give me a chance that night
She began to leave and I get hold of her wrist yet again she doesn't turn to face me.
Jodha: let me go
Jalal: not making that mistake again I say firmly,
Jodha turn towards and pushes me
Jodha: tumhari problem kya hai , jalal
Jalal: Khuda KI liya just listen to me
Jodha: Jalal am done , I have lost you have made me weaker than before Kush what else do you have to say to me?? Do you officially want to destroy me.
Hearing this only ,made me angry but then I felt a broken guilt.
Jodha: you won jalal you won , but this time am not going to let that happen because a coward doesn't deserve to win. I had to leave everything behind jalal Saab tumhari wajase. Jalal if you didn't have any feelings for me then okay paar yeh Saab KARNE KI kya sarruth thi. Jalal after reading that letter I tried to reassure myself that this is joke , you are playing a prank with me. Do you know how long it took me to realise that this was reality. I was crying like a mad person that night , the knowing that you never loved me killed me. Jalal.
Jalal: jodha just listen to me, rukaiya did this purposely , I never wanted to do this to you in the start but rukaiya I have known her since childhood I trusted her so damn much. Never in my wildest dreams would I thought that she would betray me.
Jodha POV
I can some how feel the truthfulness in his eyes , but what does he mean my betraying him ? I know I still love him even If I say I don't even if I stare with my eyes with full hatred only I know those eyes mean broken . And hurt.
Jalal: jodha Shreya , KI paas
Jodha: why do you keep taking her name all the time jalal??
Jalal: Shreya was the one who cleared my misunderstanding
I was shocked to hear that , Shreya knew about this how come she never told me wait what if Shreya is supporting jalal no she would never but again I don't want to talk about it because if I do It will haunt me again.
Jodha: jalal...
Just then moti comes running in
Moti: OMG do you know I was looking for you guys for ages , now come pizza is ready
She grabs my hand and jalal and drag us out of the great hall I can see that jalal is looking at me from the corner of my eye. We reach the park grounds where everyone is eating and chatting.
Maan: hey guys
Jalal: hi maan mera car??
Maan: I didn't do anything to it okay
Abdul: yeh surprisingly he didn't crash , he was driving it like a messed up roller coaster
Jalal glares at maan , this makes me smile I remember how jalal and maan used to get into stupid fights their arguments were hilarious even though they were dead serious.
Salima: guys tonight we should go to the darks knight , night club best one in the town.
Moti: then it's settled
Everyone agrees ,
Maan: jodha di you bearly spoke today kya hua??
Jodha: kuch nahi maan , hum kuch soch rahi thi
Maan: kya soch rahi thi ??
Jodha: important stuff
Maan: what sort of important stuff
Jodha: things
Abdul: maan don't ask what things okay , anyways jodha how was Paris??
Jodha: it was good to be back
Moti: and how is your dad doing??
Jodha: better actually , I don't know why but he was giving me hints about something about him visiting India or something ??
Maan: arrey uncle ji he is coming??
Jodha: I think so , whatever it is must be something important
* time lapse*Jodha POVWe get back to my apartment , am still thinking about what jalal said what does he mean my. Rukaiya betraying him I shake my thoughts when I hear moti screaming excitedly.

I nod , moti hands me the dress and I go to the room and change into the dress and wear the heels my mum gave on my 16 birthday and I just let my hair hang loose I gaze at my reflection in the mirror this reminds me of the same time I got ready for that ball how happy I was , today I am going to be happy for my friends am not going to let him come in between I manage to have a smile plastered in my face.
Moti: are you done jodha ??
Jodha : yea am done I yell back
I come out of my room , moti and salima nod in agreement
Moti: looking hot!!
Salima: and pretty
jodha : thanx guys wow you guys are looking so chic
We all smile at each and hug just then moti receives a text
Moti: OMG OMG they are here let's go
We come down my apartment and I see jalal in the drivers seat, and maan , akshay and Abdul in the back.
Jodha: how are we all going to fit in
Abdul: um two of you will have to sit on our laps
Moti: uhhh seriously????
Akshay: yea but that's okay coz it's not gonna be cramped there is room heaps just not seating space.
Salima: um jodha since you are our guest of honour you take the seat up front and me and moti will sit on their lap
Whaaat I gonna have to sit near the jallad!!! Me with hesitation agrees and opens the door and sit with him near the drivers seat.
Moti: seriously maan do you have to sit To The middle
Maan: seat belts are uncomfortable these days
We all laugh as he is dead serious , and we drive off I can see that jalal is looking at me while he driving which kind of scares me , since he is driving so I completely turn away from him and face the window. I can hear he let's out a small laugh. I completely ignore him but for some reason I can't help look back at him every then and now. We finally arrive and am the first person to get out of the car, the jalal comes out of the car and stands beside me.
Jalal: easy there jodha I knw you are excited to see me again but control he teases me
I glare back at him , but inside me am smiling wait why was I happy about that
Jalal: wow your glares don't work on me anymore , I know the real emotions behind that jodha your so we what happy.
How did he know that, no jodha don't talk to him just walk away
Jalal: u r acting like a five year old teases me again
I turn back at him and go towards ,
Jodha: jalal keep your mouth shut okay , okay let's make a deal you get out of my way this whole night and I will
Jalal: and you will shut the hell up for a hour or so and listen to my explanation
Akshay: are you guys coming or what?? He shouts
I take my chance and run towards them , am surprised that jalal has explanation jodha just forget about him tonight.
We enter the night club it was , so awesome It was dark but lights gave all the mood for party all night. I didn't really have a problem with this sort of darkness we all come and sit down it a swirl couch.
Salima: what did I tell, you isn't this place awesome
Akshay: hell ya
and he goes off to the crowd that covers the dance floor , followed by maan.
Jalal: what do you guys wanna drink??
Abdul: vodka
Jalal: eww gross Abdul but okay
Moti: um wine for me
Salima: yea same
Jalal: and poison for you jodha??
Jodha: shut it jalal , i don't need anything but if there Is something that will make me not hear your voice then please get that for me. I say sarcastically
Jalal: ouch he places his hand over his heart
Abdul: nice one jodha we both high five
Jalal: fine be that way and he leaves to get the drinks , we all talk about how our lives were going and again interrupted by the monster himself.
Jalal: there you go he hands out the drinks
Abdul: dude this isn't vodka
Jalal: Abdul do you remember the last time I gave you vodka , it didn't well well did it.
Jodha : what happened ?? Eager to know
Jalal: he lit my couch on fire
Me and the girls day together: WHAAAT!!
jalal: why don't you ask the person that did do the crime
Abdul: look it was an Accident okay he puts his hand up I defence
As we are all sarcastically criticising Abdul I receive and anonymous text.

Jodha: creepy but who is this??
Anonymous: why don't you take a guess I knw sounds creepy but trust me you knw me
Jodha: ????
Anonymous: stand up
Jodha: kya??
Anonymous: stand up , all towards the same direction until you reach the bar and turn left into the pool area.
Jodha: what makes you thinks am gonna do that??
Anonymous: you are someone important in my heart, from childhood
Jodha: okay but if you are some creep playing with me , note that I am with my friends.
Anonymous: you wouldn't want them to beat me up at least I hope not
Jodha: fine
Jalal POV
Jodha looked gorgeously beautiful and hot it feels good to tease her again , make her argue with me again but then she receive a text and she seems slightly disturbed.
Jalal: jodha u okay??
But no reply she is seems worried and relived
Jalal: JODHA!!
Jodha: huh what!!!
Jodha: guys I will be back huh with that she leaves in a hurry and turns back agian and guys keep an eye on me .
We all sit there again confused ,
Jalal: you guys wanna stalk her
They all say an instant yes and we go behind her , she seems to constantly keep looking at her phone she and walking again she arrives in the pool area , it was lighter than the inside the lights were shining golden orange the pool glistened under the full moon. She stands still for then I see a guy coming from the behind and wraps his right arm around her waist and lifted her up in mid air she panics I fume with anger how dare he touch as I was going towards her he turns her around he says something to her she smiles and giggles and hugs him back. My heart breaks as I see her with another man. I ball my fist in anger
Moti: who's that??
It's then I see his face , surya I whisper
