Divya, only ur post helps me to digest the negativity. I m happy u could find some positivty in the first scene but I couldn't and I can never approve that cheap scene. We should not forget the background of that scene. A husband is massaging the neck of his one wife when she's in a half-naked position in front of his other wife. We should not forget they were in a bath room & it looks really ugly that a person is helping his one wife in bathing & the other wife was also present there. I won't blame Jalal completely as Ruq is taking the advantage of his becoming father. I could understand his helplessness yesterday. In that situation he could give no other answer than saying he loved Ruq & we all know he'loves her as a friend I have no prob. Even today he couldn't deny if Ruq asked him to sit near her. But he should be somewhat aware of Jodha's feelings. He knows how she felt when he left her in the jashan then why he didn't think how Jodha will feel when he sees him hugging Ruq & rubbing her neck in the bathroom. I m not at all saying he should not have shown his care for Ruq. He must. Ruq is also his wife & the would be mother of his child. But atleast later on he should have asked Jodha if she felt bad when he was close to Ruq. Only if he could do that Jodha would have felt assured. I know he has already given her assurance. But such assurance is needed by ur life partner from time to time & one should understand this otherwise sometimes u start taking her/him for granted. I m not blaming him nor I m saying he should stop caring Ruq but he should understand not every demand of Ruq should be fulfilled. It looked very cheap that she called him in the bathroom in a half-naked position when Jodha was also there. I know she's doing it intentionally but Jalal should notice such odd things.
Now coming to Jodha, I m literally very disappointed with this woman today. She should have immediately left the bathroom when Jalal came there. That was a very personal moment b/w Jalal & Ruq. Why did she stay there? Ok I agree she's madly in love with Jalal but she should not lose her self-respect also. Love & self-respect both can go together.AkDha scene was the only relief.😳 Thanks for the lovely post dear.😊
Neha, thanks - glad you enjoyed the post.
I know the premise of the Ruq-Jodha-Jalal seems odd - but we have seen Jodha watch Ben fall all over Jalal, etc. Then the intent was to show Jodha's jealousy.
The reason why the CVs did not make Jodha leave:
- to show how confident Jodha is in Jalal's love for her
- how even with Ruqs there- Jodha and Jalal were lost in themselves- and Ruqs was annoyed
- to show how low Ruqs is vis-a-vis Jodha
- And how can you forget their lep-wala love
If Jodha had left, the CVs would not have shown any of this.
On Jalal assuring Jodha - it was actually beautifully subtle but there in that scene. When Ruqs was saying- I am so happy you are there for me - Jalal looked to Jodha and said I know how important my saath is to you. Jalal knew that this was uncomfortable for Jodha and through this dialogue he was making Jodha both understand why he was there with Ruqs and how he was still there for Jodha as well.
Jodha gave a knowing, nodding smile showing she understands.
With these small details and emotions, there was such a high level of understanding between Jodha and Jalal they don't even need a conversation for assurance.
