Again, today it was a day of the little moments between Jodha and Jalal and their happy little world amidst Maham Anga's ploys and Ruqaiyya's scheming ...For our own sanity, I would recommend not giving too much energy or attention to Ruqaiyya's ... If Jodha and Jalal are bindaas around her, why should we worry?!?Waise, Ruqaiyya said one thing correctly today - that women do wierd things ehen they are pregnant. That explains Bakshi Bano's behavior ... But I guess it also applies to "fake" pregnancies. 😆Without much ado, here is a take 5, with a musical twist to it:Take #1:"Meri saanson mein basa hai tera hi ek naam Teri yaad humsafar subah o shaamTeri yaad humsafar subah o shaam" (Movie: Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya)Translated: In my breath is only your name, only your memory day and nightHow can Ruqaiyya come in between Jodha and Jalal whose breaths and every thought are with each other:- It is Ruqaiyya who calls Jalal, but Jalal comes calling for Jodha- Ruqaiyya asks for a lep for her neck, it is Jodha and Jalal who start their own conversation on leps- Jalal is giving Ruqaiyya a massage, but he is only thinking of Jodha's hunar and conversationI also liked a new understanding when Jalal told Ruqaiyya that he understood she needed his saath ... But, he was indirectly telling Jodha why it was important for him to be with Ruqaiyya and she completely understood.I loved how Ruqaiyya tried to interrupt Jodha-Jalal's lep conversation as she knew they were getting a little carried away in their lep love. 😆 Yes, there is a new kind of love called lep love.Take #2:"Bahon ki dharmiyan, do pyaar mil raha hain" (Movie: Khaamoshi)Translated: In the closeness of an embrace, two lovers are meetingOur two lovers just need to get together and they start their romance anywhere ... And this time in the garden. Though Jodha finally got shy ... And we got a "blink and miss" waist hold ...However, what seemed more important to me was their romance reached new heights ... Where nothing would stop them from expressing their love to each other, not even broad daylight in the outdoors ...Take #3:"Mere haath mein tera haath hain, saari jaanat mere saath hai"Translation: In my hands is your hands and the heavens are with meI found it extremely cute that Jalal held Jodha's hands all the way to his room ... They are back at doing what they are best at ... Holding hands!Secretly, I think Jalal was making sure Jodha wouldn't be whisked away by some baandhi 😆Take #4:"Chumma Chumma De De" (Movie: Hum)Translation: Give me a kiss(An alternative for Tamil folks- "Kannathil Muthammitaal" - A peck on the cheek)Actually, I want Jalal to sing this song to Jodha but here are a few things I liked in this scene up to Jodha's peck on his cheek (or rather a blow kiss- Guys, it is the intent that counts)- How Jalal and Jodha almost came to a kiss ... Their foreheads close to touching when Jalal remembers a kiss- Jodha waiting anxiously for her gift, with her eyes closed, I seriously think she was expecting a kiss 😆- Jalal's gift of coins as his "mohabhat ki izhar" and Jodha's happiness from it (Jalal, sure knows how to impress Jodha with his gifts 😉)- Jodha asking him to close his eyes for a gift and giving her version of a peck- Jalal's bolt of happiness that shined through his face- Jodha shyly running off like Kajri and Jalal called out to herBy the way, I have only two possible explanations for Jodha's shyness ...(a) She was not used to kissing him broad daylight, hence, the new found shyness 😆(b) The CVs were trying to recreate my favorite scene from the Badal-Kajri track; a shy Kajri running off with Badal calling out to her 😆Take #5:"Chitti aayi hain aayi hein chitti aayi hein" (Movie: Naam)Translation: The letter has comeHow can there be a track with Maham Anga without a letter ... I am excited there is finally progress in this track with Maham Anga asking her female captive about a map and Jodha finding this letter ... Let us see what is the story behind the letter and Chand Begum.I guess Jodha is back to being Investigator for the maha-episode tomorrow. Fun times ahead! So, what are your thoughts on the episode and the take?
Nice innovative Word- lep love👏. But the trio in the hammam khane scene only gave me sick face like my god, how low can ruq stoop down. This time i got irritated on both jalal and jodha. May be the scene was included to prove that they both will make use of every opportunity, but still a king coming to massage his begum (whatever she means to him) is not digestible. I am still thinking of what the CVs want to show us by these scenes.
Akdha romance, my god, it was like uff.. for me till that so called peck by jalal. If jodha is so shy or uncomfortable to kiss jalal, no problem. I prefer nothing than something here. It would have been better if she came close to kiss him, got shy when he opens his eyes feeling her breath near him. Whom should i say is the reason, the CVs or director or the actors? Gave an inkling feel and totally brought us to the ground state.
Well, quite disappointed with Paridhi today. This SR sequence she denied of LL, fine agreed. The actors too have their own wills and comfort. I respect it. Infact i bow her bold ness of doing the whole SR sequence without BD (though articles were published regarding her uncomfortness). Today i felt like i lost the jodha who was seen in the past 4 episodes from 26th may. Rajat is scoring very much in all these scenes. I like paridhi so much that if the name jodha is heard, the next face that appears is PS. We see PS and RT as Jodha and akbar only, and not as individuals. When we appreciate her work, i think we can also point out where our hopes on her were let down. I respect the individual's freedom, the concept that it is taking place in 16th century and during that time romance was very reserved. When a 16th century king can come and give massage to his begum, then we do deserve come proper romance. I am not hell bent on kissing scenes, but if she is not ready for it, atleast she should express it clearly to the PH, director so that the director and cinematographer fix angles of the camera so as to get the feel of the scene.
We have wonderful leads, whose chemistry really burns the screen. Ultimately its only this chemistry between the pairs is hooking the viewers to the show. Any dailysoap in that case, many got successful because of the chemistry between the lead pairs. Our show is no way separate from it. But when we viewers get a satisfaction that everything is alright, immediately there is something which brings our hopes down.
Already ruq's (so called intelligent plan according to her) is getting on my nerves, I am trying my best to ignore it and concentrate on akdha. But this sort of scenes will only put salt on the wound.
Hope atleast next week, ruq's fakeness is slightly out. Hope atleast any one doubt about her pregnancy.
At times i feel Rajat is carrying the show on his shoulders most of the time. What expression he gave for a not given peck. With all the actors contributing their best in the tug-of-war of pulling the show in difference direction, i feel that rajat is only the nodal point and he is a fantabulous actor shouldering so many responsibilites.
Thanks divyavm for the post. I feel ok now after pouring out all my frustration of today's episode to you via this comment. Sorry in case of any comment going too much.
