But he is Shehenshah... though she is his only love, she is certainly not his only responsibility...there r others too... and more than that , there is a dream , he has seen for many years... she knows it, how much he has craved for a child, hsi own blood who will be heir to his throne... so why she is so upset? agreed , he went to the mother of his child, leaving her back, waiting for him, but surely that doesn't mean, his love for his Jo ends... wasn't it his duty to look after the woman, who is his best childhood friend, his first queen and now mother to his would be child? why can't Jodha understand? Did he really expected more from her that she should share his happiness...Is he wrong in thinking , she can understands him better than anybody else, just like she is his soul? So why Jodha...why upset? why not share his happiness? from when she became so selfish and heartless to be jealous of others?

I m sure , all these questions will be in Jalal's mind, when he found Jo upset and crying and that too when he wants to share his happiness with her... she is reluctant and one uncertainty must have crossed his mind... just now, their relationship has started blossoming, and this news of a baby will shake it? has he misread Jo to be a selfless person? Forget the happiness of becoming the father, Jalal was surely shaken after seeing Jo all upset and crying alone in her room... will this new found happiness of becoming a father take his love away from him... both r imp to him... he can't lose either... what to do?

and that moment of uncertainty, shaked him so much , that he poured his heart out to her... will she understand atleast now... and she speaks... " I understand... but how should i make my heart accept the truth?" he understand her insecurity , her fear of losing him... and so he declares, that let there be many begums in his palace, but the only one with whom he wants to share his life's every moment, with whom he wants to live, love and cherish is only her... let anybody else become the mother to his child, Jo will be only love of his life...

he is hoping for her to accept his love... but still she looks unconvinced... how should i convince my heart, Shehenshah, she again asks... and that moment gives him the reply , that it's time she should confess her feelings, it's only way to put her insecurities to rest... though she know she loves him, still she is still running away from accepting it, coz she fears of losing him... it's time now, to make her lose her fears... but for that she needs to confess it openly... and so he asks, with final determination, why insecure, why jealous?

she looks at him... his face has a hope, a request, a challenge... com on Jo, no more running now... it's time to let all fears go away, it's time to trust eachother, it's time to be honest with eachother and with oneself too... and so she accepts his challenge to trust him not to betray her... but She is Jodha... simple and streigthforward... she doesn't need so many words like him to tell him her feelings... she is sure and she doesn't fear to misunderstand her words... so she tells in very clear words... she is insecure coz she loves him... he keeps looking in her eyes... they r now filled with calmness and new confidence, and even more with her love for him... he has found his peace... Finally... she is his soulmate... and now it's time their existence becomes one... It's time Jo... Give in...he asks for her surrender, asks to forget herself and merge in him... she does... Jo understand his craving for the feeling of being loved... she gives in without any reservations... and both r lost in eachother...

SOULMATES... aren't they????

Although there's one teeny weeny correction, I feel. The lovemaking in the bed actually occurred in jalal's room on his shahi bed. The pushing and shoving all happened in jo's hojara because Jalal pointed at the kanha murti there. But he carried her to his room for the rest of the night. That explains why Ruk tiptoes to that hojara smiling so blissfully. She was expecting to find Jalal alone!!!

And am sure the rest of the episodes this week will rudely bring us back to earth.

Hi, just wanted to congratulate a person out here. I had a mere glance at your post before being called away to fulfill mundane tasks for the day. But what you had written was absolutely stunning and something even I had wondered last night.

Jalal carrying Jo to his room had to have more meaning than just 'so that Ruk could see them together like that'. And you, my dear have nailed it. I have never seen any other begum in his hojara! That, seems to be his private-est place in the palace and something he did not want to give any other begum access to. Imagine if he had allowed women to come to his room to spend the night with him, how embarrassing it would have been for her to be turned down by the SS. So rightfully, he had made it a rule that if he wanted to spend the night with a begum, he would visit her.

His carrying Jo to his room and to his bed was establishing what he had earlier told her - that she was the one and only for him, even in the midst of the many.

Congrats to the person who had written this. I can't seem to find it in the thread.

No Diksha... i think the symbolism is way beyond this Ruk getting to witness their closeness bit. I don't think Jalal needed to prove anything to her. I feel, like someone else mentioned in this very thread, that Jalal taking Jo to his room was to show her her primary place in his life and what the other begums mean to him.
Is it not true (pls correct me if I am wrong here) that we have never been a witness to any other begum coming out of his hojara after having spent the night with him? We haven't even seen Ruk getting that privilege no?
So, maybe today's episode's opening line by BEK would be 'How dare you Jo begum... how dare you get to his bed in your first night out! Even I haven't been there and done that..."

Jalal has never (at least we have not seen) taken any woman to his hojra before. Even with Ruq, he has always spent time in her hojra. His hojra is where he is alone with his innermost thoughts that he never shares with anyone. His hojra is like the inner space in his heart and soul that was till now his alone where no one was allowed entry or even allowed to sneak a peek.

It was highly symbolic that he took Jodha to his room and his bed yesterday. He has confessed she has his dil. He is admitting her to the innermost recesses in his soul by letting her into his room.

I feel Jodha was perhaps the only wife who was allowed entry in his hojra and yesterday I saw this happening for real. It was beautiful.

No wonder Ruq appears shocked. She would never have thought she would one day find Jalal with a begum there, when she herself had never been there with him.
