The thread has been reviewed by the DT and while members are free to give their views on the professional choice of an actor but to mock an actor for the choices they make and to pass comments on their personal and to typecast them as this type or that type is totally uncalled for ,you are free to agree ,disagree and discuss the choice but not the actor making the choice or their decision to make that choice !

This thread is being now re=opened ,if the above mentioned continues then this thread will be closed permanently !

WOW!!! Why don't you guys name this as Paridhi Bashing Thread?!!!😕

I have come on this forum after so many months..and I am so shocked to see this!! Hypocrisy at its best! Ironic, it always seems like no matter what Inidan drama I am watching, we always do tend to take the lead actor's side don't we? We all know majority on this forum are women, girls who have huge crush or are fans of RT..but in their eyes it is only the PS's fault always, no matter what the situation is we always point fingers at the female actress!😕

Frankly, I have no idea what this forum and some of the members are so pissed about?!! She refused to KISS ON SCREEN?!! This is what you guys are mad about?! If we all are looking for a lip lock on TV why don't we all sit and watch Bollywood movies, if you guys are so deprived of not having seen a fictional lip lock in real life?!!😲..There are countless entertainment shows(American drama series, movies), dramas available that can provide us all w/ a lip-lock?!!

I DOUBT that the director, the writer, Ekta told Paridhi that, "Paridhi, in the future there will be a lip-lock scene that you will required to do w/ Rajat"...Yeah RIGHT?!! If that was the case, Ekta would never had taken PS in the first place as Jodha!! We all know Ekta can't stand unprofessionals..I doubt the lip lock is even that big of an issue w/ her!

Just FYI, IF PS had agreed w/ a lip-lock w/ RT, and this would have gone on-air..I BET YOU GUYS THER WOULD BE THOUSANDS OF PROTESTS GOING ON THE NEXT DAY!! They would be saying that they have tarnished the REAL Jodha-Akbar's image in history!!😆

And, frankly PS is married, what do you expect?!! Not everyone's in-laws are comfortable w/ this! Even if her husband had agreed, and I am sure he had..the in-laws may have had a problem..b/c PS's husband is just like her chilled out and very laidback he comes across..!

What are we exactly getting mad about here?!! It is not like RT doesn't have any issues w/ PS?! They both have their own opinions about certain matters in their personal life and not once did I see an RT bashing thread like this?!! They both have always been firm about it! RT never lets media around him, PS is uncomfortable w/ kissing scenes?! So, what the hell are you guys so annoyed about?!

From what I have PS as Jodha has never seemed uncomfortable in intimate scenes and romantic scenes w/ RT as Akbar..It is her personal decision, and a family decision that she took for the sake of her REAL future ahead..Ekta is not dumb, the writers are not dumb..they knew what they were in for when they roped a married woman like PS to play Jodha..What did you expect Pari would say? "Oh mam, I will gladly lip-lock w/ RT. Who cares? I have nothing to worry about"?!

P.S. If I remember correctly only Sakshi agreed to lip-lock in Ekta's current show..Why?! She sure as heck isn't married in real life..and not everyone is so BOLD that they would agree for a liplock..and on Indian TV one rarely sees that! And, for that I am glad..!!

Talking about the BD issue so what PS said that..if she hadn't and someone would have noticed on the SR day, then this forum would have bashed the writers and Ekta...Atleast, she came out and said that!

So STOP bashing an actor for his/her personal choice..the SR hasn't even gone ON AIR YET!!

Why do some people keep repeating people are complaining because Pari has refused doing liplock. Let me repeat, NO one is complaining Pari refusal of doing liplock. Infact, we DONT want to see any liplock. Many people are actually complaining of the lack of passion since after 16december.

Yes People r not getting it. U don't have any problem with her refusing liplock. We all knew it would not have been possible in indian tv. But we have problem in her using BD in normal scenes like Cheek kiss and back kiss. She has problem in doing forhead kiss and tight hugs.
We have problem with her unprofessionalism that if she had problem doing intimate scenes she must have said this before signing the contract. No for her we r not getting passionate scenes. This is unfair to the fans.

Nikki, I think you are getting it wrong. It's not about Parishi refusing to kiss or whatever onscreen. It's about how she has pretty much refused to do any kind of romantic scene. Every romantic scene has been shot by body-doubles lately. Why? Why would viewers compromise because an actress is not doing her job right? Also, her quitting rumours every day, month long vacations are not making it easy on anyone.

- Also, because of these things, there is practically no romance in JA lately. They just tease each other like children. As a viewer, we are not wrong to expect some romance after a year. There have been a lot of offscreen dramas over Paridhi refusing to cooperate. This was the last straw for people. No wonder people are annoyed. Why take up a "intense romantic drama" if you are not ready to do anything? Let alone kissing or whatever.

She has?! I only read the refusal to kiss on-screen, and the sexual harassment that she filed..I didn't see any news about her going on holidays and refusing to do romantic scenes except kissing..But, Annie if PS is that unprofessional I would doubt Ekta would still keep her..Ekta is not the one to hesitate when she wants to replace actors even if it is a lead actor..

It is just that it is getting on my nerves now seeing so many bashing PS posts..there is no discussion except mocking PS thread posts, which I am quite frankly sick of it..To be honest, I didn't find any lack of passion so I have no idea on that front on why people are miffed about lack os passion..When has JA ever shown intense romantic scenes or even a hug from the start? It was always sparring w/ one another, and intense staring of Jalal..so I don't understand why people are using romance as an excuse to attack PS, the actor?😕

Then they separated which was required for the track..but there was also the harassment that PS had filed during this..It wasn't PS fault that the writers os CV's weren't letting them reunite together soon..Yeah, I get that PS and RT don't get together..but they each have made their personal opinions on certain aspects of their personal life very clear..and frankly when there have been so many issues w/ the director and PS..there are bound to be some demands as well..She only has refuse to do certain scenes after all this took place, and I completely understand that but in no way I would blame or target PS for this. I guess I am in the minority that feels that passion isn't lacking anywhere

I also don't think that JA is an intense romantic show..I beg to differ..It is mostly about their journey and Jalal's intensity for Jodha..and that has been shown consistently by the staring scenes Jalal has portrayed from the start towards Jodha.

- It is a fact that she has been ignoring JA and her demands and issues are growing larger than the show itself. Every month there is a new quitting rumour with her. I honestly think she should decide whether to quit or not right now and leave people alone.

Also, I do think there is zero passion in JA. Whatever is there it's because of Jalal's character. I like Paridhi the actress, but honestly, I can not bring myself to defend her or Rajat offscreen anymore. Both are equally bad.

Oh okay..Yeah, but I think someone just confirmed that it is only a cameo and not a parallel lead..

Girl..After the consummation scene I am done w/ the show..it is just that for me an Indian Historical drama is not intense romance..I guess I am done w/ my rants..whatever, will watch the consummation and be done w/ this drama..there are other greener pastures w/ some of forever waiting Korean and Turkish dramas coming soon!😆😉

😆 I am so excited to watch Turkish shows. I will also finally start watching Zindagi Gulzar hai, like everyone keeps telling me watch.

That is one drama that is highly recommended!! I have watched it 20 times just like I have watched Humsafar 30 times..😆
