ruqaiyya just lost a child a few months back and it has been said she cannot be amother and he knows or rather assumes how much she wanted to be one...remember that tiger scene when he tells jodha ruqaiyya ki maa banne ki khwaish poori nahi kar saka ...see it from his pov..she may be silly ,bad evil whatevre but at this moment she is about to be a mother...and this was exactly the reason that jodha seeked BB ka pardon and jalal gave in ...his initial delight that he was about to be a maamujaan

and inspite of being his chief wife and best friend ruqaiyya needed the greed of a child to pull away jalal from jodha towards her...a man who has lost so many children due to conspiracies and dying to call one as his own...children are his weakness and she hit him right at that spot..so yes he will be that elated father ,concerned father ,possessive father when it comes to that child...and that does not even an ounce take away what jodha means to him...

he is learning to be a husband now ,till now he never understood the meaning of that...jodha is learning to be his wife now...

and we know jodha ,she will never let him make a choice between her and the child ...her reactions on friday is not some sochi samjhei chaal..it was instant seeing the man she loves with someone else...and it was very natural to be hurt but that does not mean she is going to plot plan and taunt...his happiness is more important for her than her own...

they both are caught in a web of relationships ,they cannot let go or ignore them inspite of being in love with each other...and that makes them epic...
