Yes, for a wedding anniversary, there was no romantic special ... Yes, Ruqs has finally stooped too low ... But, the episode was not that bad ...

We have come to their first anniversary, will folks give up now? So, here is my take 5, to try to cheer you up:

(1) Hamida Bano ne di badi hint: Okay liked the Hamida Bano-Jodha-Jalal scene for the following reasons:

- We got to see Jodha and Jalal in one screen on their wedding anniversary ... And the fact they entered together and Jodha was wearing Jalal's favorite Green 😳

- The blushes and side glances when Hamida Bano was praising and blessing the couple

- And the biggest hint she tried to give Jodha: The Shehenshah should focus on the sultanate, and you on the home

Translated as: Stop worrying about the whole sultanate and being a James Bond and focus on your husband and starting a home ... Do you think Jodha got the hint? 😆

(2) Jodha ne kahin ek baat sachi: While I do not agree with the full argument of Hamida Bano and Jodha for Jalal to listen to Maham Anga, I did like her saying that it was because of Maham Anga they were now closer than ever.

After all it is true, Maham Anga has been a very effective reverse cupid. 😆

(3) Jalal recognizes fakeness of the heart: Two interesting instances today on how well Jalal detects fakeness these days ...

- One when he tells Hoshiyaar that he does fake praising like Ruqs

- Second with Maham Anga ... I am so glad he walked out

I don't know if he has a big heart, but he definitely has a smart heart. Thank God for that! 👏

(4) Loyalty does still exist in Agra: Loved Hoshiyar today and Hoshiyaar showed beautifully how one could be loyal to both Jodha and Ruqs at the same time. On one hand, Hoshiyar wanted to make sure Jodha was able to celebrate her anniversary with Jalal out of gratitude for Hoshiyar's birthday celebrations ... And he did not want Ruqs to get in trouble with Jalal 👏

BTW, now we know why Jodha celebrated Hoshiyar's birthday!😆

And our biggest wedding anniversary gift was that Ruq's plans failed.

(5) Hum Saath Saath Hai: Three things I loved about the precap

- Jodha and Jalal were alone at night in the jungle

- Jodha and Jalal were investigating together instead of alone

- I don't know why but their expressions reminded me of the night in Amer where Jodha gave Jalal the knife and Jalal gave Jodha a bewildered look- when the choti fauj came to their room 😊

And can we hope the MA story will proceed tomorrow? 😆

Cute moment of the day: I found Jalal very cute on trying to decide the best outfit for his anniversary ... Reminded me of the dressing up and ittar spraying before his boat ride with Jodha 😳 He tries so hard to look good in front of Jodha 😆 If only he knew, he didn't have to try so hard! Ask anyone in the forum!

The mysteries abound: I used to think it was Gulbadan who was kidnapped ... As we hadn't seen her in a while (unless I missed her) and she knew a lot about Humayan and his family ... But that hypothesis has now been cancelled. Though, Shehnaaz might be linked to Humayan in some way.

We all know that this love story will survive all the villains. And history, will remember we survived it too! We all deserve awards for this!

BTW Divya, Let me tell all our frnds - Akbar loved fragrances and perfumes and had a personal perfumery where he experimented with and created perfumes - and there is an entire chapter in the A'in which provides the recipes of these perfumes (including soaps and censers) - and he used to ensure that all the rooms of his palace including the DEK were always sweet smelling with the use of perfume censers!!!!

Oh and the A'in also gives some very interesting recipes (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) of dishes that were made in the royal kitchen!!!

The man was exceptional!!!! Abb dekhlo, jashn ke liye isko kisi wajah ki zaroorat nahin thi!!!

As for Shehnaaz - She is not the lost daughter of Humayun - she is an assassin and here sent by Manchuchak Begum (mother of MH) is my guess.

Today when HB gave that hint I remember u. I hope Jo got that hint 😉 😳 😆
Side Effect of watching so many Ekta's show .Today when I saw that bottle on Rukku's hand. I knew what she going to do. I thought like EK's other show's vamps she is going to drug Jalal at night so that he can't go to Jo's hozra. When he will fall unconscious she will lie him on bed. In the morning she will pretend they spend the night together. And after some day she will pretend that she is pregnant. I was thinking about banging my head that I have to bear this nonsense of EK.
But thnk God nothing like that happened. Her plan was really stupid. If Jalal fall unconscious on day. Everyone will come to know that. Everyone will get worried for him and Jash would have been canceled and as soon as Jalal woke up he will understand Ruk's plan. That was a stupid plan.
When Jalal didn't faint. I got it Its Hoshiyar. Yesterday's epi when he said to Rukku Jahannum me jaye Jodha begum I was so angry on him. But today I like him. He has spent so many time with Rukku so he cares for her but Rukku never behaved well with him. But Jodha's good behavior won his heart. He cares for both of them.
Good point Divya. Jalal knows Rukku is not happy with Jo. And she is faking everything just because he loves her a lot he is ignoring all her mistakes. But this girl is not understanding it. She is going to do the fake pregnancy track. And Jalal won't be able to ignore that.
I didn't like HB and Jodha's talk about MA. Thnk God Jalal didn't melt for them. He did call MA in but didn't forgive her. Its really hard and very painful when ur own betraye U. Its not easy to forgive.
Precap was the best part. But one question what this to were doing in a jungle in a cave???? 😉 😆

Anyway, i was miffed after reading the LU here. Havent' seen the episode yet, but will try and see now with your perspective here and edit this post.

If I can mention, even in your takes, some of the scenes only reminded you of some previous scene, it was unoriginal. I dont' like this Bond type mystery in history...plz...🤔 and that too on their anniversary...

I loved the scene when Jallu completely ignored MA, she completely deserves this & more from him 😡. Way to go , Jallu 👏 . Rest I didn't find much worth commenting. Ruqqu darling, lage raho, begumji, u ll finally succeed in falling into ur well dug deep pit 😕 .

Waise am thinking on planning a dharna demanding wedding anniversary celebration for Jallu for each of his begums, saal bar jashn hi jashn hoga , how about it 😉 🤣

lovely analysis. Loved the way Jalal was dressing up, him ignoring Mamange, My hero was Hoshiyar. Loved the glances exchanged between JA JO. when they are together, it makes our day.,

Regarding Precap, well we will see what happens tomorrow. They might not find anything ..Hope and wish I am proved wrong. ATleast one thing I am happy about is we can be sure Jashn went fine with no hassles.

Not much to say about Ruks..How well Jalal have understood her...

The only scene worth watching was a tense Jalal dressing-up for the jashan and him taanaa marofying Hoshiyaar following that 'Aap mein taap hai' comment 😆

Today the only interesting character to watch was Hoshiyar! 🤔

I am so bored whenever Ruqaiyya comes on screen you can't even imagine...

I'm surprised that HB called Jodha intelligent - currently, the only person showing some sense of rationality is Jalal - all the womenfolk's sense of justice/rationality is appearing quite skewed to me

For obvious reasons MA, Ruqs and Shehnaaz!!!

And for lesser reasons Jo, Salima and HB! They profess about conveniently forgiving and forgetting faults as per their own rules when they take their own time to forgive their own son/husband for a MU orchesterated by both parties! 🤔

- Second with Maham Anga ... I am so glad he walked out me too!...I remembered a scene from earlier episodes, when Jalal was cold towards hamida & took sweet from MA ignoring Hamida...she stood with tears in the same way as MA today...History repeated with only roles reversed!

I don't know if he has a big heart, but he definitely has a smart heart.... but, I dont understand one thing! Big Heart? It it being kind & merciful... minus intelligence! 😕😕😕...Jalal is a rare combo of good heart with smart brain! Thank God for that! 👏
