I have some confusion.
I think Khannum Sultan and Shehzadi Khannum r same person.
And R u sure about Murad being HK's son. I always had doubt that Daniyal's has to be HK's son. Or why else Akbar will send him to Amer. Now its clear Daniyal is HK's son. Whom will Akbar take to war except her.
But the gap between Salim and Murad's DOB is very little. I don't think the is appropriate to gave birth to two children in that small period of time. Maybe some problem in DOB or the mother is different.
Akbar had so many children with HK 😃 .
I love this ladli Begum. Akbar had spoiled her. The father-daughter relation was so cute. I would love to see this mischief queen in this show and her bonding with Akbar.
But Abhay with Jahangir or Humayu or other Mughal's kids its very easy to find out who's mother is who? But why different in Akbar's case? Even Abul Fazl didn't mention the mother's name. Or did he mentioned at first. And badme hata dia gaya hai?

@bold the gap is 9 months..its not a big deal..my friend and his brother had the same difference..she was born on december while her brother september next year...its normal yaar...in fact in those days, its more possible.

besides, here it is written, Murad was a child of blessings as his survival was a question and he was only child who started his education late being weak in health..so probably he was a premature baby.

read the verses..there it was written he and Salim r from same origin.😊

Yes, it looks like he was (Murad) born @ the 7th month of pregnancy as Jalal met Jodha only after 45 days of Salim's birth. That is why I said he missed no opportunity to stay with his Jodha & they were absolute romantic 😉

Wow Abhay. Great info.. I mean I was just immersed in reading this and loved it all the more becoz it clearly shows the significance of Jodha in Jalal's life. But it was sad to know that they ;lost so many children.. But Jodha was mother of so many children itlsef shows that Akbar loved her the most and spent maximum time with her.. But unfortunately for t hem none of their children were half as good as both of them... Abhay thanks for all these efforts.. you really deserve to be given a doctorate in this subject .. Glad to have somoene like you in our forum..We are blessed..thanks once again..

Thanks Abhay for the beautiful inform on Akbar & MUZ kids.. Thanks to KDRI and Lizzy...

It's good to see that Akbar & MUZ had more children, but few of them died. How much both has felt the happiness seeing the twin kids & also loosing them before them. Good to now Jo accompained him in wars also. She is realy his Azeez Begum..

So along with Salim Murad & Daniyal are Akbar & MUz kids with Firoze Khannumwho looks like her mom JO an accomplished warrior, while Aram Banu Begum Ladli of Akbar. Looks like Akbar loved her sons & daughter equally, both the daughter are much more well educated

Would love to see these kids along with wars, politics, DEK and Navaratnas in the show. I still can't understand why CVS need to drag the tracks with silly pregnancy track when they are so much left in the show. Good to see JO pregnancy soon with Twin kids, no MC please..

It is medically possible for a woman (HK/MUZ) to have these 2 babies. It might also be possible that Murad was born before term. He had survived with great difficulty. Yes, there has been some (in fact, a lot of) distortion of the MUZ's history by later historians, who perhaps couldn't accept that a (Hindu) woman could achieve so much power and influence in the Mughal empire. So, there has been deliberate fudging of accounts to hide the name of the mother of most of Akbar's children.

See the following pic, which shows that even the Americans know our history was distorted.

This is from - Journal of the American Oriental Society, Volume-108, Number-2, Edition - April - June 1988, Page-227/228/229, by Ellison B. Findly.

Certainly possible...confirmed this with two friends who specialise in this field...looks like Murad was a child with 'delayed milestones'...not uncommon in kids who are born preterm...Agree that the infant mortality rate was high in those days...But enough cases have been reported where preterms have survived in absence of any modern medical facilities...so we cannot medically rule out that MUZ was Murad's mother just on the basis of DOBs.

really nice. thanks😊... but i dnno what to believe. jahangir himself told in jahangirnama that other sons and daughters details. he said that murad and daniyel was born to concubines and other two daughters from another wife of akbar.hope u also heard this. if someone believe jahangirnama then how can we sure about this all children from MUZ (jo)??????? .please explain this.😊 just to know.
