Other than making Jalal agree for the marriage, what was her crime? So, why bash her? I m just comparing an apple to Apple, not the intentions here. Like I said, everytime Jodha gets away from her mistakes because of her life saving act, because of that, everyone forgets the root cause.

True, but not everyone looks at just the actions but the intent and the person.

Technically Ruqs saved Jalal first from Ben when she was about to kiss him- but she didn't know it.

For me what matters is understanding what drives the action.

For Ruqs, she used to have a very strong sense of justice- she saved Jodha's life when Jalal was about to kill her in the MC track.

Once she viewed Jodha as competition, things changed. But she still thought Jodha was in the wrong for accusing Ben, and hence, supported Ben.

I think many folks understandably relate to Jodha more.

Jodha nd salima argued tht shehnaaz is a kid nd not a pagal but even when a kid commits mistakes parents scold them but they were so cool about it. Jalal's stand to send shehnaaz to mathura was right bcoz sumone is sick he/she needs treatment. Nd I cant relate to salima at all. How can I mother remain so cool in this situation? Loved jalal. He was absolutely right but at the same time had the humility to patch up. Thnk god he didn't said srry. Nd I agree with jodha begum plz shahenshah stop saying srry for evrything. Last scene was nice. Loved jalal nd jodha's happiness nd prayers. Hug was also very cute.

Precap:- jodha begum plz stop influencing jalal about evrything. A kingdom cant be run if all the criminals r pardoned. Nd jalal plz stop listening to jodha in evrything. Even she can be wrong as well.

Agreed to all your points - loved Jalal throughout- though he was right he had the humility to patch up.

On Salima- I had no issues with her forgiving Shehnaaz but it was not nuanced with concern for Rahim. I think her role in that scene was to play peacemaker and shown as a contrast to Ruqs but in the process she overshadowed her role as a mother.

Ben was already in mahal as Abul Mali's bandhi's and his property were seized, nowhere Ruq was responsible for the attack, even if marriage was not arranged Ben would have planned to kill Jalal and Jodha could have got attacked saving Jalal. How Ruq supporting the marriage was reason for the attack? Ruq behaves the most dumb way and she doesn't see what is right or wrong and we know she is the next Gillian, but to glorify Jodha, we don't have to put Ruq down.
My point is if Ruq was responsible for Ben, so is Jo responsible for Shehnaz.

Agree with all your points. Ruqs and Jodha both make mistakes but they are also both human. Just because some folks say Jodha is perfect does not make it true.

Let's see how Jo-Shehnaaz equation plays out.

RQ to BEN- "hume choood dooo ... chood dooo humee... humne tumharaa kyaa bigaaadaaa haiii"..😭😭

But yeah it was her presence of mind which saved her from that zeheriiillaa doshiiilaaa BENZ😆😆

Agreed Ruqs was quite comical but she did have presence of mind

That being said, Ruqs did show bravery holding the sword and saving Jodha when Jodha confessed to causing Ruqs MC and Jalal was about to kill her, right?

I think it is instances like that that made me realize Ruqs was grey not negative.

Fear and insecurity makes people do strange things.

@BoldBlack- Dont know abt others but i believe that she too needs to learn a lession . This time she will have to pay the price for trustingpeople on their face value. n credit goes to shenuu baby😆

@BoldPink- i agree but Same applies for some of jalal defenders too😆

Agreed.
- I find Shehnaaz to be mysterious; I would have reflected when Jalal asked- how much do you know her; but again Jodha gives people the benefit of the doubt
- I do hope Jodha learns her lesson as well
- As I said, even I have my biases. That being said there are some people who say they are unbiased but are obviously biased :)

Let's hope this track speeds through for completion before IPL.

Hey Divya Di 🤗
i loved the episode ..hheee..
M very glad jalal didnt apologise to jodha for the reason of his shouting but for scolding to her in ther anniversary 👏👏,i loved their mature talks n jo naaz nakhra n jalal seriousness nicely done bcz jo is not all angry with him for scolding her ..that chin part was also nice ...arey this is wat i want from the show maker ..do i asking something big ?😕 Ruku is a woman at the end of the day so she has her insecurities n jealousy but her intention r not good which makes her a grey character ..she cant be another Maham anga no no not at all 😃.bcz her loyalty is tied to jalal n mughal sultanate ..her wrong doings o jodha will make her fall down 🤢.
okay ,more than jodha m disappointed with salima begum ..she didnt reacted the way mother does ...once my finger got stuck in the door as my cousin is closing it ...my finger tip bcme almost halves n blood were oozing out ...both we were kid then also my mother scolded her ...out of love for me naturally ..that anger came out naturally ..this anger ought to be applied in salima begum too but alas ! jodha too shud scold her chid her rather consoling her..now she is a fool here as rightly said by shenaz...this jodha reminds of my friend ...she is mahatma gandhis bhakt ..she thinks everyone is good n proper ...ppl takes advantage of her ...she learned her lesson ...jodha too will learn it the hard way..m confused about one thing ...in ben track jalal trusted ben here jo is trusting sheno but in the both case jodha will come to know about it or not? cvs pls let shehenshah do his work pllss,,let him find out just as jo found it i the ben trcak (cvs r u listenin )🤓
the hug part was just ...i was speechless...just ❤️
the greater part of my happiness is jodha hug part is way better than jallal 😲😆..her reciprocating hug is just beautiful..she felt at peace in his man's arm ..her face her smile tells it...m ssoo happy for them..❤️

Guys divya's thread is the most positive thread. So lets not start moral policing on each other. If we dont like a thread lets avoid it. We should just give our point of views nd leave the rest.

I agree tht she tried to be a peacemaker but her argument was one sided. Shehnaaz is a serious issue even if she is a kid.forget whether she is a vamp or not but even then wht she did cant be taken lightly. Instead she should have gone to jodha to make her understand why jalal reacted like this.

QUOTE=divyavm]
I see folks are quite upset- some people are upset Jalal shouted at Jodha, some Jalal had to apologize, some that the hug was not romantic enough, some are upset there is a new vamp in 😉Shehnaaz, and then there are some worried about a potential Jodha engineered MA-Jalal patch up. Phew, that is a long list 😉😆
🤗

While there are enough things to worry about, I thought I would cheer you up with a take 5 because the episode had its moments:

(1) Jalal's argument: He may have gotten angry at Jodha ... But it was not in public but in front of family and it was after Jodha continued to defend Shehnaaz against him in front of this same family ... And every one of his arguments was bang on: that it was a risk to have her around and how long had Jodha known her to believe her sweet talks.

It is important to remember that the outburst was driven by his love for Rahim, not his anger on Jodha or Ruq's case ... He was most impacted by Rahim's words that she pulled the dolls from him and he fell.
Actually Jalal was the only one who made sense to me out of the whole jingbang! Hence, my non-take on the episode😆
And we all know now, that Jalal was absolutely right with his instincts ...👏

(2) But yet Jalal had the humility to make amends as he took out his anger on Jodha: I continue to see this as a quality of Jalal that he is humble enough to make amends when he thinks he has done wrong. I also liked how he persisted to calm her down and make sure she was calmed down before leaving ... That is the type of mature conversations he needs to continue to have with Jodha. 👏
He is AMAZING...!👍🏼

(3) Jalal the father: Yes, we saw Jalal the father in his outburst. But, I loved how we continued to see this father in his conversation with Jodha as he described how much Rahim meant to him ... Did he in any way look like a step father to you? 👏
Nooo...
(4) The wedding anniversary wish and hug; things I liked:
- Jodha's heartfelt prayer (and seeing her sans makeup) ... Are we glad her hate has turned into love as well 😳
- Jodha's signature "aap yaha?" - Moti was so bad at it that I actually missed it from Jodha 😆
- Jalal's sweet words to her ... And the fact that he included "biwi" and "azeeza begum" 😳
Omggg that was sweet!
- The hug / jadoo ki jhappi: For those who are unhappy with the hug, please note that Jodha did not hesitate to reciprocate the hug this time and hesitate with her hands and this was in public ... This is progress my friends 😉 Slowly but surely
- Jodha resting her head on Jalal's 😳
Jodha SMILING as she rested her head on his chest MADE the episode... it was like she'd found 'home' finally!

Well now we know why Shehnaaz tried so hard to get Jodha to admit her love and go back to Agra ... To get to the Shehenshah. 😆
I know😆

Billion dollar question: Why did Shehnaaz not recognize the Shehenshah when she first saw him near the Kanha murthi ... He left the ashram thinking Jodha was not there ... When she had every incentive to make them meet. She didn't know the Shehenshah by face? CVs don't have any logic? I guess the latter is the best answer. 😉
To keep up the act 😆

So, what were your thoughts on the episode?

I also agree with Ash.. Jalal was so dignified! 😳
