Hey Divi,
I liked yesterday's episode. In all it's scenes it showed progress of various characters. Here's what I felt,
Jodha - Maham - It was absurd that Maham accused Jodha of snatching her child from her, this was in continuation of her tirade with Jalaal when he had confronted her, but, Jodha just gave her a reality check by saying, you already lost everything the day Jalaal cut his ties with you.
Jodha - Jalaal - The entire episode had its set of nok-jhoks, but, I really wanted Jodha's answer to Jalaal's query on what had changed. Unlike their earlier jihaarats their prayers weren't voiced over, so it can be anyone's guess. But, I could guess Jalaal had thanked Allah for return of Jodha as well as her sadbuddhi, hence, he didn't want to tell her about his prayer.😉😆
I just loved his jungli billi comment, and that he loved teasing her because he loved that irritated look on her face. I have heard so many guys say this to their girls, but, I am clueless of how this could be source of any happiness. Men!
Also when she was surprised by Jallu from the back, I remembered the scene near Tulsi plant on his birthday. There's so much difference in her expression then and now, then it was like, "what's the matter with this guy", now it was like, "oh, he caught me, arrgh!"
I think Maham has officially lost it. She hit the floor with the whip (Was there some International whip week or something that no-one told me about?) and then asked for Gwalior hakim to be sent , my doubts of it being an important person were somehow strengthened. Because as far as we have seen Gwalior hakim of JA is the equivalent of "NRI doctor from UK or US" or sometimes, "sending a patient to Singapore hospital."
What's this creature called Shehnaz? She gives yawn-inducing bhaashans to Jodha about Mohabbat, and cannot have the basic sense of how to behave with a child. What kind of selective madness is this?
I really like Jalaal's words in precap, "Just because she said some sweet words, you trusted her?" True, Jodha is very naive and trusting. Thankfully for her the number of people she has had to trust has been very less, but, I've never seen her introspecting on who she trusts. Maybe Jodha should point out that she didn't bring Shehnaaz along, but, that the latter palkhi-jacked her way.
About your query on jumps, if we take fun-wise, definitely Sujamal's was a class apart. That one was less like a jump and more like him imitating Hanuman's pose minus the namaste, while on an open elevator. Jallu's was more like an action-hero. But, no thrills here, I have seen him take jumps so many times, now, but, every time he jumps, I just pray he doesn't hurt himself.
Jodha, um, that thing that fell down was not a pearl, but a diamond, or maybe some other precious colourless stone. And that whole idea of getting it repaired while wearing it, sounds dangerous, considering, they used soldered metals for fusing the stones and not fevi-kwik, like today.
I am sure the real Maharan Pratap was cheerful sometimes, the one in JA, just sounds and acts like he has bitter-gourds four times a day.
Lovely post, lovely observations.👍🏼👏
