What made the scene of Jalal and Jodha even more memorable was the fact that Ruq couldn't bear seeing. I was so so satisfied when I saw that. I was like: You deserve it for all your clandestine ways of trying to keep them apart! It was in her face! Yo, I absolutely loved that!There is a fine difference between the moments Jalal spent wi Ruq and the one he spent with Jodha. For Jodha, it was all pure love and the overwhelming feeling of being with your loved one...so in love that they couldn't even see Ruq at their door. And with Ruq, what I saw was more of a stern smile and friendly concern. That's all what Ruq got I suppose all her life and so she smiles and remains satisfied with it. But now, as she surely is going to do something funny, she'll shoot herself in the foot.She couldn't bear seeing it cause Jalal is never going to love her the way he loves. Jodha. I also feel that if Ruq won't stoop to even lower levels, then she would have some space in Jalal's heart. But his love for her won't overshadow the one he has for Jodha. Sounds a little silly coz. We're dealing with a sticky situation like polygamy. But now that also doesn't seem likely because she's definitely distancing herself ( or should I say already distanced herself) from Jalal because her love is not pure, not selfless, she doesn't love Jalal with her whole heart.
Positive take Lyra...awesome...I had to break my rule and watch the Akdha scene online to be able to comment here...I dint mind the fact that Ruk interrupted them ( it was expected)...what I didnt like is the way the scene was executed... esp when they alternately focussed the camera on Ruk and Akdha...It was a good Akdha scene but had the potential of being a masterpiece akdha scene ( like the aarti scene or the first sword fight scene)...Every scene has a focal point and some supporting factors like other cast, decor, music etc that brings out the best in that scene...They could have achieved the same result by making Ruk enter Jalals hojra, stay there for a second and then leave and faint...But the alternating of Akdha and Ruk shots prevented Akdha from being the focal point of the scene...it took some magic out of their first hug...their silent confession...Jodha's shy permission...Jalal's reaction...all that should have been the only focal point...This is a huge milestone in their love story and to me it is just as important as the actual SR...several shots of Ruks ugly expressions were so not needed...This tells us something important about how CVs think and what is in store for us...they still do not know that viewers need respite from time to time...We'll see a half hearted romance track to support a full on Ruk jealousy track...Not sure why they do it?...out of love for the character or the actress playing it? I'll repeat what I have said before...the biggest sore point of this otherwise well made and entertaining show is that the amount of screen space is determined by the actors and not the characters on the show...I know that you are an Akdha lover like me and probably know all of this...But I love the fact that you chose to highlight the only other positive out of this scene👏A very good trait to have...dont ever lose it😃
