CHAPTER:7
As jalal was riding on his horse with Miraz and Bairam khan,in the front as their soilders and the ladies followed them back.But jalal was looking back for every 5 minutes to look at jodha's pallak,making Miraz smile at his action.
''Bhaijaan please control ur love for bhabhi ,we will reach the palace within 30 minutes then u can look bhabhi properly how long u want.''said Miraz giggling.Hearing this jalal was red from embracement ,but he controlled himself and gave a glare to Miraz.
''Miraz if u didn't keep ur mouth shut now,then u have to pay for it''said jalal with a fake anger.
''But bhai i was telling the truth.Is it a crime telling the truth haan.Tell me na bhai''said Miraz with an innocent look.
''Miraz please don't give me that innocent look of urs and keep quiet for till we reach the palace''said jalal in a irritated voice.Miraz smiled looking at his bahijaan and nodded his head as they continued their journey.
IN JODHA'S PALLAK:
Jodha was sitting inside tha pallak but was lost in the thoughts of her love jalal and their last night moments.She remembered how gentle he was and carefull with her.The love and passion in his eyes,the softness in his touch and the sweetness of his lips made her smile to herself.Mothi who noticed this thought of teasing her and had a naughty smile on her lips.
''Jodha thinking about shahenshah?''asked mothi.
''yes mothi''said jodha in a dreamy voice who was still in her dream state.Hearing this mothi smiled to herself and thought of teasing her more.
''Hmmm jodha why ur eyes are red?Did shahenshah kept u awake all the night ?''asked mothi.
''Haan''said jodha still in the LALALA land.This made to broke out in a fits of laughter and made jodha to come from her dream land.
Jodha blushed and lowered her head on realising what she said to mothi.
''Mothi stop teasing yaar.Nowadays u r becoming so naughty''said jodha with a blushing face.As mothi was about to replay but the guards keep the pallak down indicating that they had reached the palace..Jodha looked at the palace which stood with praide and power just like her jalal.she always dreamed of entering this palace as the wife and other half of jalal,but today when her dreams came true she can't control the tears of joy from flowing as she closed her eyes in happiness.The very next moment she felt a very familiar rough hands wiping her tears softly with love and care.Jodha smiled at opened her eyes to look at jalal who was looking her with love in his eyes.
''These tears are precious jodha.''said jalal and kissed her forehead.
''And moreover i don't want my begum to place her first step in her new home with a teary eyes .so now stop ur happy tears and give this palace a honor by placing ur lovely feet my Rajkumari jodha bai begum''said jalal with a smile to which jodha smiled back .Then jalal held out his hand for her which she took immediately helding it tightly and she out of the pallak and stood beside jalal looking everyone with her bright smile.But she was shocked to the arrangment for her arrival.The whole palace was covered with flowers ,there were rose petals decorated to her walk on that.Jodha was really touched to see all this arrangements.
''I want my love to walk on rose petals when walking with me in my palace for the first time''said jalal with a lovely smile.Jodha just smiled back at him and both of them started walking towards the others who are waiting for them in a short distance.But a pair of evil eyes who witnessed all this was fuming with anger and jealously .
As Akdha neared the group she smiled looking all of them .As all them returned the smile.Hamida came forward and took aarthi for both of them and Akdha bend down and took blessing from her.Hamida smiled at them at kissed both of their forehead.
''Welcome to ur new home beta.I wish u too get all the happiness here and fill the palace with happiness as well.u ''said hamida caressing her face lovingly.Jodha smiled back at hamida.
''I promise u Ammijaan i will try my best to do all my duties to my best and will surely try to bring happiness not to this palace only but this whole country''said jodha in a polite voice.Hamida again kissed her forehead lovingly and moved aisde.
''Jodha this is salima begum our khan baba's wife and this is Rahim their son''said jalal with a smile.
Jodha looked at salima and smiled wishing her to which salima wished her back with the same smile and both of them shared a hug.
''I have heard a lot about u and ur beauty jodha begum ,but today i can see their words are true seeing u ''said salima with a smile.Jodha smiled at slighty blushed at this .
''Thank u salima begum ''said Jodha with a smile.Then she felt a pull on her choli and looked down to see little Rahim trying to get her attention.Jodha smiled at him and bend down to his level at smiled at him.Then jodha noticed that he was hiding something on his back.
''Hmmm what this little rahim is hiding behind him?''asked jodha smiling at Rahim . Rahim to smiled at her and handed her a beautiful red rose which jodha received with a smile.
''Are u our shahenshah's new begum ?''asked rahim with a cute smile.
''Yes my sweetheart i am ur shahenshah's new begum''said jodha with a cute smile.
''so will u tell me stories and play with me?''asked rahim with an innocent voice.
''Ofcourse u i will tell u stories and play with u .But on one condition''said jodha with a stern face.
''What is the condition?''asked Rahim with a cute poute.
''U must be my friend ok''said jodha with a bright smile on her face to which rahim smiled back at her .
''ok jodha begum we can be friends''said Rahim hugging jodha and kissed her cheeks making jodha and everyone present they to smile at his innocence.Jodha too kissed him and stood up with the flower in her hand.
''And jodha this is Ruqiya sultan my uncle's daughter''said jalal as jodha wished with a smile and ruqu return a fake smile and wished her back.
''So as everyone's introduction is over can i take my begum to my room''said jalal impatiently making everyone smile .
''No no shahenshah we can't let u take my sister to ur room just like that,as per our coustom a husband should take his wife in his arms till their room when their wife entered his house for the first time.So shahenshah u should take jodha in ur arms till ur room''said sujamal with a smile .Everyone was tensed there except Biaram khan and Miraz as they know how much he loves jodha and will do anything for her.But others were tensed as their shahenshah never liked to do something like this .Ruqu took this opportunity and had a evil smile.
''Forgive me sujamal ji,but our shahenshah always likes to keep the people on their feet not to take them near his heart with his own hands by bending down.so i think its not going to happen''said ruqu with a fake smile.But what jalal did the next moment shocked everyone.
Jalal with a lovely and prod smile bend down and took jodha in his arms giving his sword to miraz and looked into jodha's eyes shocking everyone present there but they all had a smile looking their love for each other.But ruqu was buring in jealously and felt like jalal has slapped her .
''U r right ruqiya sultan i never bending before other people or lift anyone to my heart bending before them.But my Jodha is not an another person for me,but the only person who rules my heart and feel proud of bending before her''said jalal still looking into jodha's eyes.Jodha's eyes got moist seeing the his love for her and she keep looking into his eyes without a blink.
''so sujamal can i take my begum and ur sister to my room ''asked jalal with a smile looking sujamal.
''with pleasure shahenshah ''said sujamal with a smile.
Jalal started walking towards his room which is their's now with a pleasent smile on his face while jodha keep looking at him in love and respect.once they reached outside of their room which was closed ,jalal gently made jodha to stand on her feet and cupped her face .
''u know jodha this room is waiting for u for the last 10 years to fill it will brightness by ur love and purity .Finally the day has come now jodha ,i want this room to be lit with ur smile and purity jodha every single day from now.so now open this room with ur hands and enter it making it pure by ur purity jodha''said jalal looking into her eyes with only love for her .Jodha felt like she will burst with happiness seeing jalal like this .From the moment she took her in his arms infront of everyone her love and respect for increasing more and more.she just looked at him loosing herself in his love and care.
On seeing jodha looking at him with a love in her eyes jalal held her shoulders and shook her lightly to bring her back to present .
''Arrey meri pyari begum u can look at me howlong u want once we enter our room ,but now lets us go inside''said jalal with a smile and jodha smiled back and held his hand and opened the door as both of them entered the room togetherly.As jodha entered the room she can see jalal's touch in everything .The room was so stunning that jodha was lost in its beauty.But the painting she saw on the room's ceiling made her speechless and stunned.The entire ceiling of his room was painted with her picture as she was sitting in the middle of a beautiful garden with her breath taking smile.Jodha not even in her dreams thought that jalal would have a painting of her like this.Jodha looked at jalal who was looking at her with a smile,jodha's eyes again got moist seeing the painting.As a tear was about to roll down from her eyes,but jalal immediately went near her and prevented if from rolling down her cheeks .
''No jodha ,not now i have an another suprise for u .After seeing that suprise u can let ur happy tears fall and i will happily wipe it ''said jalal and kissed her forehead.Jodha can't utter a single word seeing his love for her.Jalal held her hand and took her to a corner in their room which had a blue curtains covering that corner.Jodha looked jalal with a confused look.
''Open this curtains love''said jalal understanding her confused look.Jodha with the same confused look opened the curtains and was again shocked and was totally moved at the sight infront of her.There was a medium size temple which was decorated with flowers and in the middle of the temple there was a stunning and beautiful kanna statue which was made in gold was kept decorated with flowers.This make jodha really moved and emotional as tears flowed from her eyes freely and hugged jalal with all her strength hiding her face in his chest as jalal too wrapped his arms around her helding her tightly to him and rested his head on her and kissed it.Jodha was now sobbing in his hug wetting his kurta out of happiness.
''why jalal ?why u love me so much?Please jalal don't love me to this extent coz i can never love u back as u love me not even spending 7 births with u.''said jodha with an emotional voice and hugged him more tightly.Jalal smiled at this and broke the hug wiping her tears and cupped her face,
''No jodha compared to the love u have for me this is nothing.U dared to love a person like me who was not so rude and cruel before.But u changed me with ur love and made me a king who was loved by all of his people.I never know what is meant by love before i met u jodha .u made me realize many things that i never know.u made me to feel the beauty of the moon,peace of the night and more over meaning of life.In my life everyone had a reason to respect me and love me .And the others even feared by name.But u r the only one who loved me without any reason and condition .u r the only person who saw a heart in me which even i denied i didn't have one.U may think i was a selfless lover to paint urselt on my ceiling and keep a temple in my room,but u know the truth jodha i was so selfish to do all this.coz i just wanted to see ur face when my day starts ans ends so i painted this on my ceiling coz i am so selfish that i can't live a day without seeing ur face.And this kanna temple is here coz i was so selfish to pray to ur kanna to sent u soon to me as my wife .And i love u coz i can't live a life without u or ur love.so i am selfish coz i love to live my life as i don't want to die soon without spending my entire life with u .so jodha my selfish love is nothing compared to ur selfless love jodha.u never expected anything from me expect my love.i am really lucky to have a love and wife like u jodha.i always want u to be with me.u love makes me alive jodha.i am winning every battle coz i can't even imagine ur life going hell without me .u r my life line jodha so i am very selfish to love u.promise me jodha that u will never leave me.promise me.''said jalal as tears flowed freely from his eyes .Jodha was beyond stunned and moved by his words ,she just released her face from his hands and moved closer to his face wiping his tears by kissing it. she him gently resting her head near his heart listening to his heartbeats while jalal hugged her back.
''I promise u jalal ,this jodha will never leave ur side ,i will be always with u . i promise''said jodha kissing near his heart .Both of them stayed in the same position for nearly 20 minutes but a knock on the door made them to broke apart.Jalal made a irritated face like a small kid at this and jodha giggled seeing his childishness.
''Jalal go and look who it was''said jodha trying hard to control her giggling to which jalal obeyed and went to answer the door.After five mins he came back .
''Jodha i want to discuss something important with others , i will back in 1 1/2 hours .till then take rest ok''asked jalal lovingly.Jodha smiled and nodded her head.Jalal kissed her forehead and left the room with a sweet smile.
Jodha who was alone in the room started roaming all over the room checking and admiring everything.But she stopped before a painting as something looked different about it.It was jalal's picture painted gracefully showing his mainlyness and strength and had two golden parrots on the both side of the painting.Jodha touched the parrot on the left side of the painting and she thought of something.She strong turned the parrot to the other side as a result the painting became two parts as it was painted on a secret door .Jodha was confused why would jalal creat a secret door like this in his room.Then she entered the secret room only to froze in her tracks and her heartbeat literally stopped for a moment from what she saw inside.
