I tried that- but it is just not fair for people who comment and I get so tempted to respond- and then get in trouble with my other commitments.

Btw hunter was part of that age...it wasn't OTT..you'll find this in many middle age dramas too...

He was just playing the last card to floor jodha and yes he was successful..

Nautanki Jalal! The hunter was not the OTT part ... The fact that he thinks he deserves that punishment is 😉

Now jodha has demons to fight I soo want to see a fiesty jodha atlast after today she should understand her importance in jalals life...

Right- Mainavati did tell her Jalal would do what he did for her for no other wife- I hope she got that point; looks like a face-off with MA is due soon

The preamble

Today was a landmark episode with the return of Jodha to Agra! I enjoyed many pieces of the episode and hope you did too.

At last Jodha is back😆. Landmark episode or not, but landmark day for Jalal in the serial

I know that there are a lot of rumblings on the OTT nature of Jalal's waiting for Jodha ... However, I think it was (1) The CVs ploy to drag her arrival to the end of today and (2) I know the same folks thought Jalal searching for Jodha was OTT where he was literally falling off his horse and roaming around aimlessly ... His happiness now is not out of character at all. So, I am actually going to skip that part in my top 5 ... His boyish excitement was cute, but definitely a lot more highlights of the day. 😊

Even it was OTT, I don't feel very bad, as he is man in love and if Jodha gives the same love back, I will ignore this teenage behaviour (and looking at Jodha today, looks like she will reciprocate finally😉)

The Take 5

In any case, excited to get to today's top 5:

(1) Maan Singh-Jodha Begum interaction: This would make it to my top 5 just because Maan Singh finally had a dialogue but I liked it for the following reasons:

- Jodha's eagerness to know how Shehenshah was

- Her blush when she heard that he had been dull but was extremely excited since he knew she was returning 😳

For me, showing some positivity and feelings made it better. Should I say, thank cv's😆

And if you thought what Jalal was currently was doing was OTT, imagine if he had gone in Maan Singh's place leaving Agra again. I actually thought it was funny that Maan Singh came up with an excuse for why Jalal couldn't come as he was making preparations for her swagath ... Perhaps, he could sense she was disappointed that she was seeing his face instead of Jalal's. 😆😉

If Jalal had come to take her, I would have banged him😡😆, you will know the real reason by end of the post😉

And if anyone had doubts that the Shehnaaz was traveling with Jodha .., she made it too. 😉

She will give competition to Moti, I predict Moti and Shehnaz jealous track.😆

(2) The Salima and Jalal interaction: I liked it for the reassurance that Salima gave Jalal that every thing will be fine ... And love has its own language that he will naturally understand (People who know me well will know I am resisting a joke on eye reading right about now 😆- boy must Jalal be scared he will get it wrong again 😉)

When Salima said Jodha's returning to Agra will bring a nayi zindagi ki roshni, anyone else thinking Salim? 😉

I am thinking the step you need to take for Salim to emerge😆

(3) The balanced scene of Jalal and Jodha both eager to meet each other; here is why I liked it:

- The equal yearning to meet each other 😳

- The return of the happy "Ishq Hain Woh Ehsaas" 😊

- And I loved how Jodha closed her eyes as if she wanted to feel every bit of him in that moment 👏

It was nice to see, both were yearning for each other, eager to have glimpse of each other.😳 And Jodha feeling that she took her abhi man to extreme, so I can start to tolerate her😆

And I hope this is the last time this couple will say there is a lambi raat between them, they said that during the Ben track as well. Maybe next time it will be a lamba din 😉

(4) The rituals: It was great to re-live the rituals of welcoming Jodha as a bride. It was such a contrast to the first time that she completed these rituals ... Jodha didn't know what she had gotten into and Jalal was smirking away. If one thing was constant, it was Hamida's extreme smiling and happiness. 😆

This time she was doing the rituals with her whole heart and accepting what they meant completely. And I loved the way Jodha was looking for Jalal the whole time. 😳

Rituals, I felt it was too much, but I will ignore, why were Atgah and Todarmal doing jay jay kar😆

(5) The first deedhar: Loved the cute smile on Jalal's face and the tears in Jodha's face that was primarily of happiness but also I could sense a slight twinge of apology as well, which I loved! 😊😃😛

Deedhar was the reason, I would have banged Jalal, if he had gone instead of Maansingh😉😆, the look and stance Jalal was in, awww😳, the way his eyes were giving looks, he was naughty, wasn't he?😳

On the precap

On the precap ... Please calm down before jumping to conclusions what it is about. First, I found it very funny that the room was decorated like you know what ... And all Jalal could think of was giving his wife a hunter to punish him. 😲😉😆

I want to wait before commenting, but is still prefer the Deedhar Jalal than this one, but the decoration of the room gives lot of hints, y do they want to waste the decoration😉😆

I always knew that Jalal would apologize once more and but never expected him to give a hunter in his hand.

- I know some think that Jalal has gone completely blind in love ... Repeatedly apologizing for a mistake that Jodha was equally at fault to. I would have said he was blind if he had never acknowledged that Jodha was at fault to. The fact that he continues to apologize is his humility. However, I have never seen Jalal shirk responsibility for his mistakes- not even if it was circumstances.

- The hunter was OTT ... But perhaps thought he could preempt a worse punishment by throwing Jodha off 😉

- I always thought Jalal apologizing once more ... Would finally prompt Jodha to admit her share of mistakes ... And I hope that is the case. 😊

The future

In addition, there are signs of the next issues that will hit the show:

- The Ruqs factor: Poor Jalal is up for a tricky battle if he ends up unintentionally hurting Jodha because of Ruqs; however, my guess is she will try to make Jodha guilty for separating her from her childhood best friend ... This was always a sensitive spot for Jodha

- MA, Adham Khan, and the killing of Atgah Khan: While it will be a sad day to see the death of Atgah Khan, I am also glad that Jodha will be there to console Jalal at that time.

Ruq's is all set to fall flat and damage her relationship with Jalal😡 Adham's end is near, but our poor Atgah saheb😭

However, I hope and pray Jodha and Jalal will stay strong through all their future challenges and stay together ... And I hope the forum sticks together as well. 😊

In conclusion

And with that, I wanted to say this will be my last take 5- at least for the time being as I never say never. As I had mentioned a while back, things have gotten busy on the personal front and it is very hard for me to write the post and respond to folks as well. At some point this would have happened when I go back to work, so I wanted to stop on a day when I was in happiest of spirits. 😃

I am glad I hung through this track as I would have not liked leaving the take 5 unhappy with Jodha. I was unhappy with Jodha, not because I hate her but because I loved her character and couldn't see her this way. But, now that she is beginning to realize her mistake and heading in the right direction, that is all that matters. Everyone makes mistakes, once they are realizing their mistake and beginning to learn from them, I think it is very important to support to her again ... I am also thankful to this track as it made me understand Jalal's POV so much more.

Thanks so much for welcoming me with open arms into this forum! I cannot believe I joined in February but have made so many friends and buddies and had such lively discussions. I will still be around the forum ... Just not with my take 5 for the time being. 🤗

No prizes for guessing why.

A few observations first,

1. Santa-e-Ilahi - He was giving his limited jewelry away to every soldier who mentioned "Jodha". Apart from the first dude who correctly said, Jo will be back tomorrow afternoon, the rest just repeated the lines and won jackpot. Crafty lot!

I know- his folks def know his weaknesses. I wonder if he reclaimed any of the jewelry in the next scene- couldn't observe his ring 😆

2. Jalan-e-Khaas - When Ruqaiyya mouthed some bull about her happiness and mountains and rivers, I was almost happy for a moment that her character had a momentary redemption, but, alas...

At least1 no direct hurting of Jodha- small mercies

3. Gardener-e-Aliya - MA continues to baffle me with her botany classes, about cutting off roots and all. And by asking her son to take care of Atgah, she basically signed his death sentence. Fab job, lady.

Adham Khan: the root of all problems (pun intended)

4. Baaghin-e-Ecstatic - Lovely expressions on her face when Man Singh spoke about her pati's state. I would have called it sadism, that she was happy that he was sad without her,but the women in me gives me a warning look with a stiletto heel in her hand if I wouldn't feel the same. Of course, I would want my hubby to be sad without me. OMG, my hubby would be such an unfortunate man.

Your husband better be very entertaining- if I have learned anything from your DP habit it is that

5. Hunar ka godown - Maan Singh has also mastered the sophisticated hunar of Ameri eye-reading.

Salima, has now coached Jalal on it as well! Poor guy, he is nervous he will make a mistake. No wonder he gives Jodha a hunter in her hand just in case.

6. Atgah was enjoying the home-coming a little too much. Hmmm, Jiji, keep you Juju in control.

I feel bad for the guy- cut him some slack

7. The home-coming scene - This scene was very well executed thus,

Amazing Raksha!

* The variation in their dress colours. Hers was a beautiful baby pink, a hint of her realization of her first love. His, a more deep colour, a brown, reflecting his stance wherein though he was happy, it was not a "Yay! Yippee, set fire to the world", but a subdued, subtle meaningful smile, that suited a Shahenshah.

You a are a born stylist- been practicing with Ken dolls? Wasn't there a subtle peach in Jalal's outfit- was it to match Jodha?

Note the world of difference between his behaviour the day before and now. Now that she's here, he doesn't run across the yard and give her a crushing bear hug, he smiles majestically, and waits for her to come to him. Ghalat bande se panga le liya Jodha!

Amazing! Hats off for noticing that! But half the world already knew of his eagerness by now

Even her make-up had been changed to reflect her wan mood, the lipstick was less obvious, the regular gray/black eyeliner had been replaced by a white one. The way she put her head out and peeked outside her palki while entering the fort was endearing. She didn't bother about the social mores, she was just glad she was back. The way the people parted to let her see her husband was ... Sigh! I loved it, I loved it. I loved all of it

Amazing make up expertise! I need tips from you- seriously!!!

8. Though she didn't openly show her feelings in front of Man Singh, her lost eyes and fond smile said everything. Of course, I burst out, when she said, "Man Singh, tum yahan?"

She was expecting Jalal! Maan Singh knew that- hence, he created the excuse!

9. Precap-e-Shararati - I have been trying to keep my mind off the obvious here. But, Jalaal should definitely exercise caution with his nut. She might end up giving him 50 shades of black and blue.
