RSS is the Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It is the parent group of all Hindu belief parties in India. It shapes the opinion of all parties who believe in the concept of Hindutva. It has such a strong influence on the BJP that it was they who OK'd Narendra Modi for the post of PM, even over the objection of Advani.

It is said in some circles that the RSS will decide most things in the new BJP govt by remote control.

I know next to nothing about Indian politics, but what I do know is that the only tampering with history I will accept is unifying school textbooks and showing a more true image of India which is in no way biased towards a particular religion or a group of communities.
If whatever you say Donjas, they do try and go through with it, I can't even imagine the extent of the damage they will do to India's youth. Instead of unifying all Indians they will actually extend the gap further.

What is absolutely disgusting is that they want to discredit a great king like Akbar because of he was a Muslim ruler?! They themselves need a lesson in history about his secular and broad-minded thoughts before they try to write their version of the history over his greatness!

P.S Adia thank you so much for this thread 🤗

That is the tragedy of Akbar. We can do nothing about it. His ideas of broadmindedness and liberalism, which were revolutionary in the 16th century are still too advanced for this age. But having said that, Akbar enjoys a lot of good will in India, the success of his movies and serial is proof of that. He does not need a certificate from anyone.

I have not read the current history books, but when I was in school, we had a chapters on Mughal Empire and every Emperor was dedicated a separate lessons. And about Akbar, lot of information was given and as the best Emperor among Mughals and how he was called "The Great". So, probably in that way, I should feel lucky enough to have read about them during schooling.

Enjoy it while you can. I was reading an article on the relationship of the RSS and the BJP in the new government. The writer of the article interviewed the RSS propagandist Pramod Kumar. According to this Pramod Kumar, one of the changes the new govt would bring in is remove "excess
ive praise of the Muslim Emperor Akbar" in history textbooks.

When will this people grow up. U guys have BJP and here we have a muslim political party. Who r hell bent to make all the hindus leave Bangladesh. They wants the girl should be in home. There is no need of girls education. They said school college University me parke hum girls besharam ho gaye hai. They said University me boys and girls study nahi karti ayashi karte hai. They said so many dirty things about girls. And they called themselves Muslim political leaders. And hafez in The Holy book Quran. Where our prophets respected women so much. This people disrespect women. We r bangali. But They have problem if we celebrate "Pohela Boishak", Robindo Joyonti . Cause they said its Hindu Culture. Bangali is Bangali be it hindu or muslim. They just don't get it.
The british played tricks with us and made us fight with each other. And we fools fall in their trap and killed each other for them. And we still didn't get it. Ek desh ka teen hissa ho gaya and we r still stuck with Hindu-Muslim. Aur kitne tukre karne hai is teen hisse ka? Why can't we treat people as human. Why anyones religion, culture matter so much.
We really need leaders like Akbar.
Sorry for this political post. I m just really fustrated with this politicians.
Btw does that mean our show is also in danger.

unres ... First of all thank you for the PM ...my dear adia 🤗
Akbar and Technology - (Part - 3)

Other Applications of Gearing: Cart-mill & Gun-barrel Boring :

This whole paragraph mentions that the first cart - mill was invented in india during Akbar's reign ... 👏👏 worth appreciating !!!!

But a question, u mentioned that "This invention must have been made in the 1580s during Fathu'llah Shirazi's presence at Akbar's court." ( Adia was this invention made by Akbar himself or by Fathu'llah Shirazi ...??? )

Mills geared to cart-wheels and thus working as the cart moved are known in Europe only from the seventeenth century. (Seems Akbar and his Hindustan was ahead of Renaissance Europe 😉) (Yeah man ...!!! this is such a proud feeling ... damn ... that statement right now is making me feel really proud to be Indian 👍🏼 !!! This marvel personality is driving me insane ...indeed indian's were always ahead of the time 😉... no wonder why brit's were bowled over by "Us Indians" ...😆 )

Handguns and Cannon :

Abu'l Fazl in his short chapter on cannon-pieces (A'in-i-Akbari), attributes to Akbar two inventions which need more than passing consideration. First, 'he had one [cannon-piece] made, which they can easily transport during expeditions by separating the parts. When it needs to be fired, it can be very well assembled together'. The second invention was that 'he imparted to seventeen [cannon-pieces] such unison that one match can fire all of them'. ( @ bold - You cant be serious adia ... 😲 ... woow ... I just cant believe this ...😲 amazing invention 👏👏👏 )

Ship-Building : (I just totally loved this whole para ...❤️)

Sind was annexed to Akbar's empire only in 1591, so that the port of Thatta (with its outer port at Bandar Lahiri) now passed into his hands. Sind lacks timber, and so Akbar had the ingenious idea of building ships at Lahore, some 650 miles distant from Thatta as the crow flies, but linked to it by the Indus river-system. Lahore, in turn, had the advantage of proximity to Himalayan sources of timber. ( So since their was lack of timber in sind he got the idea of building the ships from a place where timber can be easily available & also it can be delivered to the thatta port ... woahh ... !!! what an imagination ... this guy had some serious brain to come with such idea's 👏👏)

Akbar was so interested in sea shipping that he even built a vessel, modeled after a sea-going ghurab (small vessel, galley), to ply on the Jhelam river and the linked lakes in Kashmir. This is said to have caused general wonder among the beholders; and Akbar himself took a ride on it in July 1597 (Akbarnama). ( Adia ... what is this man .. exactly ???... is he a "Superman" or something ... ??? i dont know about other's but for me he is definitely my 16th century superman ❤️ ... hats off ... 👏👏 )

I am completely swept away with this info u have provided adia ...,i am already a fan ... but right now i have become an AC ... 😆

Also my response to some of your queries in @bold pink.

OMG ... u r reading A'in ...??😲 god u seriously have lot of patience to go through all such works ... & to give us this detailed knowledge about Akbar which we are unaware of ... yes my dear i definitely agree that Akbar was , is & will be remembered as the great emperor in the Indian history ... Their can never be a second Akbar ... btw just thanking you would be an understatement becoz the time & energy u r investing in this research is just incredible adia ... would love to know more about this superman ... 😳

N Thank u so much for replying to my queries ... much obliged 😳
