The episode didn't move the story forward, but, helped in tying out the loose ends. It brought out the emotions of various characters, and how these very things might affect the story and the leads going forward.

Exactly it was the people and the emotions that made Friday a good episode ...

Adham - He was extremely angry and was baying for Atgah's blood.

Ruqaiyya - She's like Norma Desmond from Sunset Boulevard. The world she ruled is gone forever, but, she still lives in it.

Hamida - Thankfully, her words made much more sense. A note on her behaviour in May1 episode, there she did point out MA's ehsaans on Jalaal, but, also she knows of MA's cave activities or atleast has doubts about it, and she also knows of Adham's embezzlements, because Atgah has confessed about it to her, so she may have had her reservations.

But, why didn't she mention it ... She could have reservations on MA but why her son being a good son and good husband

Maham - Same as Ruqaiyya, but a major difference, she knows her world is gone, hence, the disillusionment.

Good distinction...

Jalaal - Despite his haughtiness during the entire hearing, he cringed when MA confessed to her guilt. That showed how much he wanted her to be innocent of this guilt.

Haughtiness? I thought it was lack of emotion and dignified silence ... But, everyone sees different things in Jalal these days

Jodha - That lost smile said everything. Is it only me, or do they look extremely close in the flash backs? +10 for the blush. Why does Jallu always wear blue in the FBs? Why is she in yellow?

Should I remember her anger one day, fear another, and smile another? Let's hope this smile continues ... And I really mean that

The flashbacks were all shot on one day

Adham's medieval-farmers-readying-for-witchhunt in precap was comical. Let's see how they take this forward.

Comical execution but it will move the story forward

All I can say is ...

- BB and SD can conspire and have people raise fingers at her character ... But she can forgive them because they hurt her and not Jalal and BB was in loce

- Bharmal can put the Mughal-Amer izzat at stake and try to force Shivani to wed ... But she will smile a sign of relief when he sees her

- Mainavati can tell her to never come to Amer ... But she will give her the Sabse shresht maasa award

- Shivani can run off leaving her, her parents, the entire Mughal empire in a lurch for her love ... But Jodha will run back for her wedding

But, Jalal, he has done such a thing that he should never forgive him and never go back in love for him ... How can she possibly love such a man?

I have no problem if Jalal forgives Shivani- he forgives his relatives all the time, BB, SD, Adham - and they also insulted him and the Mughal Sultanate. And by now, he might know MA's role as well.

But Jodha ... I think she is in a tough spot either way:

- If she comes back because his forgiving Shivani shows he understands love ... Does that mean she did not understand love when she was mad at Bharmal and Shivani for what they did? If her issue is trust, this does nothing to resolve it ... Actually nothing does, unless she gives him a chance- how do you prove something like trust? And if saving the widow doesn't prove his belief in love, what does?

- If she comes back just for the wedding ... Then I will say she does not love Jalal at all yet

But we need to wait till they show the actual episode before we can judge ...

In the movie- she said you don't understand people or try to win their hearts ... So her coming after the pilgrimage tax bill makes sense.

Here her complaint is lack of trust- how does this resolve it in any way in unclear

Maybe the CVs will surprise us ... That somehow jodha was planning to return anyways
