This is just to let you know that I do not plan to do any more standalone posts. I am tired of this forum and the kind of things that go on here, not to speak of the show itself. I do not want DT notes and Mod notes on everyone of my threads either. If the forum is going to be run on the basis of vociferous complaints by one segment of the membership, and I get dragged into it, it is hardly the sort of thing I want to be in at my age. While I have loved being here because of all of you, this sort of thing, which is completely new to me, is not for me.

As it is, I am always short of time and I feel perennially guilty about not responding to many of your comments. And in any case, I have never lasted more than 6 months in any of the other 3 IF forums I have been in before dropping out because of sheer ennui, and that deadline is long gone.

As many of you might be aware, I wanted to leave last October, but Lashy and many others held me back by sheer emotional blackmail. But not now. I have had it.

So please carry on, my dearest girls, on this thread till it becomes too long even for you or is closed down, or on your own threads, and the best of luck to all of you. I know that many of you will miss me and my posts, which is the one thing I feel bad about. You must forgive me, my dears, and then again, it is not the end of the world! You will all carry on very well without me, and in a few weeks, you will be surprised to realise how little it matters. Believe me, it is true.

I love you all, very much, and you can always contact me when you want to, by PMs or e-mail. I hope many of you will stay in touch with me, as many have from my old forums.

Aunty, please don't leave !!! 😭 I know the forum is horrible and while commenting on other posts I've experienced myself that one does not have the freedom to express, it either turns into fights or personal attacks. Sometimes its better to ignore, and move on. While I understand and respect your decision, I still sincerely request you to not quit the forum.

No, Munni, I have been receiving PMs about these things and warnings, and I am not going to be the subject of any witch hunt .

I do not need to be here, I never did. I was doing fine before I landed up here and I will do even better out of this place, with plenty of extra time for other things. I had thought it to be something of a model forum, free of catfights and name calling, and a judicious overall management. But I was wrong.

As for all of you kids, I am always there for you when you want me, only a PM away. If you want me to comment on something, let me know and I will do it for you, and fast. But no more standalone threads.

Do see what I have said to Munni above. That offer is just as open for you, and for anyone else who wants to take me up on it. By PM, or if you PM me for my e-mail id, by personal e-mail. We can set up an e-mail group if some of you are really interested. But not here, not any more.

Oh Aunty, so going to miss u . Though I can understand your feelings on this matter, maybe u d reconsider if more favourable circumstances prevail. . But still glad that you ll give us your comments on a few like minded members' posts. But still going to miss u sorely 😭

Aunty please don't leave the forum. I am apologizing from their behalf. I know it's really hurting to get this kind of treatment for your age and that is why i feel you are right on walking out, but at least for your sincere readers and visitors, please. 😭
