Sandhya my pet,
Now this is not worthy of you! How
can you say that for Jalal to accept food from that poor woodsman(NOT a beggar; he was quite insistent about it, remember?) was in any way degrading? It was NO such thing.
I agree completely with Munni. Any great king would have done the same - Vikramaditya or Raja Raja Chola, or Ashoka. It is a manifestation of their innate humility and their having the common touch; the first is mandatory for a great human being, and the second is mandatory for a great ruler.
As for the sikka, Munni, do see my response above to Adiana and the others.

Well I just want to say positive things. Honestly I found it a gr8 gesture from jalal tht he actually gracefully accepted the food from tht poor man. Nd actually thts a true king for me who can treat evryone equally.
2ndly thnk god tht jalal remembered khan baba's talim at least for today he hasn't got completely mad in love.
Other than jalal again blaming himself the episode was not bad. Even jo was also bit better today. I think jodha's coin will save jalal but still it will be better than pratap saving him.

Aaj to Shahenshah was made to buy food from a beggar.
If suddenly there is some mass destruction, earthquake or terrible calamity at Karjat we can be sure that Akbar's spirit is behind it...spewing venom with vengeance for having portrayed him in the most degraded way possible.
Today the only sensible dialog was spoken by our coconut haired boot polish bearded Abul Mali. If that too doesn't drill sense into Jalal, then he is a goner.
Why do these fellows speak lengthy lengthy dialogs even in live or die situations? Why talk when they have to shoot?
