How can an emperor debase himself and his stature to such an extent? Sandhya has compared him to Neville Longbottom and Ishan Avasti of Taare Zameen Par, and she is spot on.
I am sure he was wandering into Abul Mali dreaming of his Jodha Begum and fantasising about her return to him, and was thus taken by surprise and badly wounded. Otherwise,Abul Mali could never have got the better of Jalal on his own.
What I do not understand is this. There is no one there to fight for Jalal and Abul Mali stabs him rigth thru with his sword.How then does Jalal survive?
Let us see what farcical explanation we are given tomorrow. Maybe, for a change, that it was not Jodha's but Abul Mali's dream!😉
And yes, as to how we survive such tripe, why we practice Zen meditation!

Jalal is fantasising about Jodha smiling at him...n he walks towards her...maybe he mistakes Abul Mali's "Kaali Ghaneri Reshami Zulfein" to be hers & goes & embraces him. AM will then DHAKKOfy him, obviously. 😆 Again, Jalal will continue to think that his beloved has, in her unique act of love, dhakkofied him. 😆

He will again go to embrace AM, & that is when AM will brutally attack him

1) your father "sold" you to Shehenshah Jalaluddin Mohammad, a person whom you despised so much that you wanted to kill him...he did it in exchange for his throne, & his sons' lives...great FATHERLY love for his sons...NOT for his daughter...👏

2) your mother had planned your "night boat ride" with Suryabhan, hoping to malign your name so that your marriage to Suryabhan could have been rushed to belie Shaguni bai's prediction. Her intention was noble, BUT the point is, she KNEW marriage to Jalal would shatter her beloved daughter. You were given a bottle of poison by your mother,in case ...you know "what" ...(It was there in the film, but am not so sure about it here). Yet, she allowed you to marry Jalal. Great MOTHERLY love for her daughter...your FATHER had cast a doubt on your charitra then...but you were pretty OK with that...👏

3)Shivani track: Your father proved beyond any reasonable doubt what a selfish & opportunistic person he was. He neither cared for the Mughal Sultanate's reputation, nor for his daughter's already complicated relations with her in-laws & husband. A most politically correct king, but an ideal father?...definitely NOT!! Your marriage could have blown apart then.👏

4) Bharmal-Sujamal equation: another pointer towards the kind of person Bharmalji was...he cheated his brother's son & handed over the throne to his own son...y didn't we see a more aggressive & vocal protest from your side for this grave injustice??...👏

5)Mainavati, in plain spoken language told you, "Don't come back to Amer because of problems with your husband"...knowing fully well how difficult it had been for you till then in Agra...because of this, you attempted suicide, BUT Jalal saved you.👏

6) Yet again, an Aameri, Sujamal bhaisa, with noble intentions (he saved Jalal's life twice, but promised to finish him off in the battle-field) but HORRENDOUS execution capabilities, blows apart your marriage, starts a major MU b/w you & your husband which blows up out of proportion, bec you confessed to the Emperor of doing"mohabbat" with this guy, without adding a teeny weeny bit of not so imp info that this guy was your beloved bro!!...thanks to a Vachan?!?!...Obviously, the madly in love with you Emperor, who is already surrounded by traitors around him, was shattered & banished you from his kingdom.

NOW, after the MU has been clarified, when your husband (having risked his life) has accepted his mistake, when he is falling all over for his apology, you chose to go to AAMER for your self respect, rather than accept your (large) bit in the MU, & forgive, forget & make up with your husband who you know is surrounded by traitors all around in Agra??!?!?😲

I can't see how AAMER is so much better than AGRA for you at this moment of crisis in your life...at least NOT from a wife's pov...😊

Oh don't you know! All Ameris have a Grand Forgivance Cover under which all their faults are forgiven even without trial.

Jo is the most important member under the cover. So her faults will not even be stated.

Suja can have picnic in the Shahenshah's harem. But he will go scott free. He saved jalal from the arrow. Fine. But the very situation would not have arisen if not for him.

Bharmal will be let to go as jalal cannot see jo in pain. MH was just an excuse as ruqaiya correctly pointed out. Bharmal was also jalal's and the Sultanate's gunehgaar.

Jo will always be glorified for 'saving' jalal though she will be the chief cause of endangering him.

Dekh lena... Runaway bride shivaani and her pati will also be given a warm welcome at Agra headed by HB who will want to aarti the poor 'naadaan' girl and will not allow her shaitaan son to punish her.

I can only hope tht after this attack by abul mali jalal realizes tht a king cant be mad after love. I hope this attack will be a lesson tht he is a emperor 1st. Nd then he goes for the reforms nd lands on amer only on the last day of ghanghor. He can ask jodha for the last time nd if she refuses he should say tht fine if ur happy then I wont hamper ur happiness.
