I found it a very positive / entertaining / well-executed episode. I did NOT find any flaws in Jodha or Jalal.
When Jalal walked into Jodha's room in his drunken state with half closed eyes, he looked like the small child who had been given a new room of his own, walking into his parents room in the midnight to sleep peacefully forgetting all nightmares. he find that serenity in Jodha's company which made him to fall asleep instantly. There was no need for the wine or woman for him at that moment, just the fact that she is around had made him forget all his worries and sleep like a small child.
She used the word 'samman', but atleast 'ghrina' and 'ashobhniya' and other words are out of her dictionary. That is done for me. She will realize slowly.
Even though she realized she feels for him, she thinks as a wife, she feels bad. Today we didn't hear the same words she once told Jalal. There she clearly told him that " I will feel bad not because it lessens my Audha but because I feel bad because "I feel that is an Apman to my Prem". So today her wifely feelings are awoken but still the love is Wake up. Once that is done, there is no end for their companianship.Moreover she knows that he was not in his real sense when he walked into her room totally drunk and might forget everything happened during the course of night once he wakes up in the morning. So how can she move ahead just because she has realized that she doesn't like him to sleep with others? Then how will she be different from Ruqu?
Jalal is ahead of her in Love. He has realized this. And she too is realizing. Remember Jalal had wanted her from starting and saw her before marriage BUT NOT she. She started this race late and so will reach the destination also later. Another transition in her feelings was - First she had NO problem whomsoever Jalal spends night with BUT now She felt BAD. This was a major change yesterday. Also now she saw that dhakka scene from another perspective. This was also a change here. Though i have NO experience here, but i feel the Males are expected to take the lead. Lol. In this case Jalal. And this track will eventually lead to their confession. So no problem in waiting for some time more.
I completely agree here. Had she been the Jodha of earlierr days, she would have felt happy that he had gone to someone, so she can have her peace. Now it is keeping her awake. She isunable to stay away from him and can't take his ignorance. Shemisses his company and time. Yse about dakka, she has changed feelings but right now, she doesn't feel the time is ripe. So we have to give her some more time to clear her vision.
Your analysis of Ruqlal is very mature. STILL in Bachpan ki Dosti mode.i laughed when Ruqs said that i am your bachpan ki friend and hence understand you..rofl... All that was due to MA..
It is true that in those days, the king & queens used to play chess or other board games before retiring to bed and is also true that they used to have servents waiting for them but not right in front of them. I have read that if the uqeen is good at dance or singing, she used to perform for him or if the king is a singer or good with instruments (like Veena etc.) and queen is adancer, he used to sing / play the instrument and she used to dance to his songs.
For all I care she (Ruqu) could have made everything ready by the daasis and let them off to tend her husband herself. But as we know, she cares more for her audha and having many saasis even after Jodha relieved everyone from service is nothing but a show off of how well she manage slaves... and if she had told him that I am your wife of many years and I know when you are hurt and when you are happy, may be he would have spilled out but having said that, if he had thought of sharing it, he would ahve done that with MA on the very first day only, in the same way he told her about the Dakka.
Btw, is MA Batman or Superman.?.

She is a BAT (the one which lives in the haunted bunglows or cemetries. She will be awake all through the night and now that she knew about Sujamal's entry to teh Harem, how can she sleep? That too if she can locate him alongwith Jodha when a miffed Jalal is solacing with ruqu, how nice it will be to produce the Gaddars (Jodha & Sujamal) and get the punished? Least did she knew that Jodha had already made her place permanant in Jalal's heart. Fevicol bonding😉😉

No, she will march stright back to her to be welcomed by the night bat looking for details from her about Jalal's missory, only to be blasted by Ruqu yet again. SHe will blast her by saying going by your words I talked to Jalal about Jodha and he had left me an dgone back to her. If I had kept quiet, he would have stayed with me only 😊
PS - I am not searching any flaws here. Neither i found any. Prefer optimism..
