Part 7 ----
Jalal felt ashamed of himself. He was getting tensed by each passing second. 'If she has not gone out from the palace's main gate, then there's no chance that she has left the palace..', murmured Jalal to himself. He rubbed his forehead in utter frustration.
"Jalal kya hum kuch bol sak.." Maham tried to say something, but Jalal cut short her right there.
He glared at her with red teary eyes. Sujamal was getting impatient as well.
He said, "Kahin Jodha Mahal mei hi to nahi hai?"..
" No.. If she has said she'll leave me and my Palace... Then she would have left.. She always keeps by her words.."..Jalal said dejectedly, feeling ashamed of himself.
Suddenly something struck Jalal. "Yaa Allah..! Humein pata hai vo kahaan hongi.."
He immediately headed for a room that was situated in a desolated corner of the palace. Sujamal followed him while Maham stayed back. Her plan had backfired terribly and her mind refused to work out any other evil trick.
"Ab hum kyaa karein.. Badi mushkil se Jodha begum ke khilaaf Jalal ke dimag mein zeher ghola tha.. Par humari to chaal hi ulti pad gayi.. Ab kya karein hum".. Maham gritted her teeth.

Jalal reached to the same room in which he had brought Jodha secretly through the hidden route, when she had tried to commit suicide. Somewhere his heart said that she was there only.
As Jalal and Sujamal almost reached at the entrance of the room, they found the door flung open. There was a still darkness even in this surprising and shocking morning.
Jalal immediately entered the room, followed by Sujamal. As soon as Jalal entered in, he was stunned. He stood at his place still. The secret door inside the room which used to remain closed all the time was open, and obviously there was no one in the room.
This was enough for Jalal and Sujamal to understand that Jodha had left the Palace from this route. Both were extremely worried for Jodha, for if anything happened to her, they'd would never be able to forgive their ownselves.
Jalal looked at Sujamal with sorry yet determined eyes. Sujamal's first priority was his beloved sister, and for that he had to ignore the grudges he had for Jalal or for that purpose, anybody.
He assured Jalal through his eyes that yes, they'd not let anything happen to her.
Soon, both made their way through the secret route, which headed towards a deep dark Jungle.

She ran and ran, sobbed and sobbed. She ran until she made sure that she was far away from him and his life. Tears streamed away from her puffy eyes. Suddenly, a thorn pricked her left foot and she winced. "Aah!"... She couldnt run any further.. For she had no more energy left.
From the moment he had said that she had an extra- marital affair and that, she was being disloyal to him, she had been shattered too much.
She dropped down on the muddy ground and tried to compose herself. Darkness was still there in the jungle for huge trees' canopies restricted the sunlight.
"I know I have lied to him.. I know I didnt tell him the truth.. I know I am at fault... But Shahenshah.. What have you done?"..she embraced herself by circling her hands around her knees. She dug her head in.
"Jab hum aapke liye kuch mehsoos karne lage the... Aapse pre.. (she paused to check whether she was being true to her conscience or not...and when she knew the answer, she continued) aapse prem karne lage the.. Tab hi aapne hum par itna bada aarop laga diyaa... Kyon Shahenshah.. Kyon... Kyaa aapke liye hum itne tuchch hain.. Kyaa humara zara sa bhi maan nahi hai.."
She stopped herself from speaking further as she wanted to go away further from the palace and him. She got up and tried to look for further way. Her condition was not good. Her open hair were messy and foot injured. Moreover, she realised that she was in deep jungle.
Anyways, she determined to herself and was about to take a further step, when she felt a palm on her shoulder. Her breath stuck in her throat. The palm gently tightened the grip over her shoulder and Jodha was terrified.
She immediately turned back to see the person and was shocked.
