Why should we blame the director, if actress has problems with intimate scenes? He is also doing his job and he is doing a good job, just because he is behind the scenes doesn't mean, he is not important. Everyone has to be professional and she never expressed problems for past 9 months and now this cannot become sudden. Making her wait for shots sounds ridiculous to me, as she is there in most of the scenes and every tv serial leads work more than 16 hours a day and this is a costume drama. And can take longer.
