It was almost 2am and Santram would still not let them pack up for the day. Rajat sighed, he really wanted to sleep and yet here he was shooting for a historic drama.

"Santram let us go na yaar? We'll continue this tomorrow" complained Rajat for the hundredth time.
"I said no Rajat! The only time you will leave this studio is when you and Paridhi get this scene right!" He shouted, commanding that they get back to work. Rajat rolled his eyes and went back to his seat to rehearse his lines. All the other actors had left long back now the only other person was Paridhi. He looked over to her chair and saw her busy memorizing her lines, her eyes flitting over the papers in her hands. Suddenly he remembered Chetan's words this morning and he forced himself to look away shaking his head trying to clear his thoughts.


Much later Rajat walked into the car park and stepped into his BMW 745 Li. He sighed and placed his head on the headrest and asked Ramu to start driving. They had barely left the studio when his eyes fell upon something. He groaned when he realized who it was. Up ahead standing outside her broken car, trying to hail an auto was Paridhi Sharma. He told Ramu to stop and stepped outside in a resigned gesture.

"What are you doing?" He asked her in an exasperated tone. She frowned at his question in irritation.
"I'm dancing, what do you think I'm doing Rajat? I'm hailing an auto" she replied testily. He rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Fine, come on I'll drop you home" he said with a sigh.
"No thanks I'll take an auto" she refused.
"Oh my god woman no auto is going to stop for you at three o clock in the morning! Will you just get in the car??" He said raising his voice a little. She looked at him for a second as if contemplating him.
"Look I'll give you my deodorant bottle for self-defence ok?" He added exasperatedly. She burst out in laughter and nodded whilst he smiled and picked up her bag storing it in the boot whilst she sat at the back. He returned but sat in the front with ramu so as to give her some space.

The ride was silent majorly but he was watching her reactions through the rear view morrow from the front. Soon they arrived at her house and she got out. He handed her the bag and she took it silently.

"Umm.. Thanks Rajat" she said softly.
"Don't mention it, see you didn't need the deodorant right?" He smirked. She laughed softly and walked to her door, once she opened the door she turned and was surprised to see him still waiting there. She hesitated fractionally but then smiled and gave a small wave he waved back, sat in his car and drove off, leaving a confused Paridhi in his wake.

Rajat waited for her to go inside and waved before driving away, with a smile on his face. He reached home soon enough and as he went to open the door a flash of silver caught his eye on the floor of the car. He bent down and found that it was an anklet, her anklet. Quietly he slipped the anklet into his pocket and walked into his house with a grin on his face.
