I just watched the episode and it was not that bad as mentioned all over the forum, nor Ruq and Jalal were passionate, only Ruq was trying to get closer to Jalal. He looked totally aloof.

I added a bit about the thali ka baingan to that post after you two had seen it.

And yes, Tripti my pet, it is not going to last. I know that. After staring soulfully a dozen times a day at that chin up portrait of Jodha's (it is much better than the one Tabassum painted for Jalal long ago, the one he later burnt, despite expostulations from Abdul . God, how I miss that chap!), Jalal will be melting inside like a marshmallow left out in the sun.

But I loved his startled expression and the haste with which he rushes to cover up the portrait before Jodha lands up in his rooms. It was as good as the waking up one you have flagged.

Incidentally, the whole business of Dilawar Khan being sent to deliver that portrait to Jalal's hoojra is clearly meant to prepare the ground for Sujamal to be able to rush to his rescue when the time comes and, as Tatasky solemnly states, take an arrow for him. But why an arrow inside a room, instead of the convenient khanjar?

I agree with you in toto, my dear. Jodha of course has been brought (by Jalal) to believe that rules apply to everyone else except to her.

And Jalal was angry because, he clearly had mentioned that after harem incharge was changed, he said Ruq's decision will be final, then Jo should respect it. It's not a game😡.

I just read about consummation of JA/Jo in the forum, I do not understand, y everyone are saying it's too early? When they should consummate, after they grow old? Thus MU track is shown to give way for the leads consummation only, and how many more steps do they need to take to consummate their marriage? I hope everyone knows that it's about 16th century marriage 😕

They won't show the hero of the serial and a historical figure like Akbar being disrespectful to the homosexual community.
