Sharma, I guess that's the difference ... we can yap away via these forums..imagine in Jo's times the avenues of yapping away were so limited... she had to do it to her most obedient pupil- Jalal

Oh Aunty...Bogey Lady??🤣
Yes, Auty your belan is reserved for us who love to cross our toes on the other side of the line...especially when we start having 'dreams' about Jalal.
I was merely trying to impress upon her that no AK47 is waiting on her for posting here. Its suppose to be fun, na?
Anyway, aunty if not for this forum I will be a walking grizzly with heamorroids, I tell you. You are so right about Rana Udai Singh and his kingly ways. And how big was his territory? This is Jalal a.k.a Akbar the great. Look at his sorry state. Eee...
I cannot decide who i want to bodily harm first. Him for becoming such an octupus or her for being so thick. Whatever her excuse to see Sujamal, there is none for being so presumptious as informing him that she is not happy with the verdict he delivered.
If you have watched The Tudor, you will know how a absolute king should be portrayed. Jonathan Myers did a fantastic job. In one scene he shouts at his sister, the strenght of it shaking the room, for looking up at him in the eye when she spoke to him. Can you imagine that? His own sister looks at him and he explodes at the impudence.
And here, our mata ji can (in public moreover) halt him to discuss his verdicts??
You are so right to say that she doesn't love Jalal the real. She loves this Jalal her pet project executioner. The moment he does something that is not part of her syllabus, she turns into this condeming headmistress.
I think to save my nerves I need to gather all my imagination powers. Perhaps I can rewind and play over and over the talwar scene where his breath mingles with hers as he held the talwar at her neck, which he very seductively removed the cover off her face. Aii... Just one little tweaking...it will be he holds in grip with his smouldering eyes...😳

Anne, my pet, you are unnecessarily making me out to be a Bogey Lady! I never get after you kids with a belan unless you really deserve it! 😉

Plus, I would never do that to anyone I do not know at all. My spankings are reserved for those for whom I have a lot of affection, starting with my Sasha! And this young lady is clearly a stranger, who probably feels that she has strayed into the wrong thread. 😉.

You fought the good fight and won it by a couple of rounds.

You know, if Jodha had been married to Rana Udai Singh of Mewar, and had been caught doing what she did, she would have been in the kaalkotri before she could gather her wits about her, and she would have been left there.

Udai Singh, who is a real king, not a lovesick poodle, would not have haunted her rooms and hung around her seeking explanations for her shenanigans. When he discovers that the youngest queen, Dheerbaiji, who is his all out favourite with whom he is as besotted as he can be, has done something he considers unpardonable, he disowns her, wipes off her sindoor, and condemns her to live in total seclusion exactly like a widow, for the rest of her life.

If he had caught a queen of his aiding an enemy of Mewar, she would have been executed on the spot.

That is how a 16th century autocrat would have behaved.

This Jalal is a wimp who is willing to put up with anything to be reassured that Jodha has not betrayed him. To use the phrase beloved of our maid, Aadmi hai ya pajama?

Shyamala Aunty

I agree jalal's anger is justified but he could have been more polite in his approach to jodha...!he might hav asked her many times indirectly but when it didnt work he should have tried asking her directly in a more polite way...!

Polite approach for wht? A 16th century husband watches his wife with sum other man nd still waiting tht maybe she will tell him the truth is more than enough. How many 16th century husband will give so much liberty to his wife? He should have caught hold of them on day one only. Jodha is not at fault bcoz she is binded by the vacchan but how will jalal know tht? No husband can be polite in this situation. Forget about jalal even bharmal wasn't polite when he saw jodha with surya even though their marriage was fixed. Mainavati knew tht very well thts why she made tht plan. Jalal already had lots of pent up emotions which he needs to vent out. Jalal's heart is crying nd when a person cries he sumtimes screams.

So jo going to meet suja was not a crime...!
@bold
Jodha did the same during ben track but wat happened?? Did he believe her??
Fine I agree the equations between them has changed a lot now...,jo drank poison to save jalal's life...!that is more than enough for jalal to trust jodha...!but nothing significant has happened for jodha to trust jalal...!may be thats why she is not ready to trust him and tell the truth...!even though if she does what is the guarentee that he will believe her?! He might not blame her for meeting him but instead tell her she is being misled by him and shut her mouth...!😕
I didnt mean to hurt anyone...!i just told what I felt...!
Sorry if anybody is hurt...!

First of all there no need to apologise for voicing one's opinion. We are only discussing different views.
Why should Jo meet Suja the first time to ask why she broke that promise secretly? - Curiosity and love and affection for her brother. Where was all that when Teapot Bharmal kicked Suja out of Amer? What happened to all uchithness? Why didn't she fight for her brother with her dad?
Remember her boat-ride rendevouz with Suryabhaan? Remember Bharmal's reaction to it? He called it a kalank caused by Amer Rajkumari? If a Rajkumari is not supposed to act that way, is it okay for a queen to? Whatever be the reasons? The ends do not always justify the means.
Where was all Jodha's courage and heroism, sorry heroinism with Bharmal? Is Jalal and his kingdom her guinea pig, for her to experiment all her ideals?
Why should Jalal believe Suja? Suja's suhaag ka raksha is part 2. His part 1 was attacking Mewar and killing Jalal's relatives for which he deserves to be punished by Jalal. As a Queen it was wrong of Jo to meet Suja again and again.
What is the surety that he will find out info on Jalal's attacker loitering outside Ambe Maa Mandir? Isn't informing Jalal a better way to protect him.
For heaven's sake, Jalal and Jodha are not equal by 21st century standards...Jalal is THE EMPEROR. She is just one of the queens. If she is special it is only because he considers her so. No other guy, (that too such an alpha male, THE unquestioned emperor) at that time or even now would give his wife half or even a tenth of the space that Jalal gives Jodha. She should be thanking God everyday for having got Jalal for a husband. Like she said in her wedding vachan 'Purva janmon ke punya se hi aap hamare pati hue hain aur hum aapki vadhu hue hain'.

Yup, she did didn't she? I guess she is not that blind after all. She did note that something is wrong. But somehow she is never able to accept the possibility that whatever it is that is wrong, stemmed from her. Again she is on a mission to unravel what is bothering him without including into the equation that she could be the very thing that is wrong.
Maybe she thought it was the Harem election. Well, I can cut her some slack if she thought that what is bothering him is that.

BELIEVE ME, I NEVER cut Jodha slack. 😆

And while she irritates me immensely, even now, I can't bring myself to place blame on her. 😆

Btw the HIGH POWERED promo & savage shout by Jalal was Jalal's day-dream!! 🤣

Cute scene- Jodha running around trying to catch Rahim.. She catches him , Rahim praises her for being the best shaagird, Jodha sweetly laughs & says "Shukriya", Rahim folds his hands Jodha-style & says "pranaam." 😳 😆

Sujaamal dressed as a woman &being praised for his beauty 😆 is put in BB's retinue.

Jalal walks past Jodha who thinks now is the best time to do away with the gatirod in Jalal's mind, she wishes but he pointedly ignores her. Turns to Hoshiyaar & tells him to tell Ruqaiyya that he'll spend the night with her today.

Jodha, looks insulted & quite sad.

So why don't you invite him for the night, Jodha. 😉
