I don't need to vouch for neither Jalal's nor Jodha's trust on each other. They trust each other and also care for each other. That is one thing which gave strength to Jodha to venture out in the darkness of the night to meet her brother & kept silent even after Jalal asked her repeatedly. Jalal trust Jodha so much that he can't even think of doubting her and looks for reasons for her outings. Despite seeing her talking to a completely stranger (to him and close one to Jodha), he didn't felt like asking her about whom she were meeting and what she was talking to him. He even advocated the same to Maham who was eagerly waiting to see the lion ounce on the lamb. Alas, it didn't happen, so she had counter plans. Jalal must have been thinking that Jodha would have met her brother Sujamal and will reveal the truth to him later but when the appointed spy entered the room to inform him that there is news that Sujamal had escaped from Agra. He gave the expression which Maham had been waiting for, he was alerted and said he neds to talk to Jodha begum about her night out meetings. But still I don't think he doubted her fidelity.

The moment he heard Sujamal escaped Agra, he just felt may be Jodha would have helped him to escape but for that there should be some more people involved. Who might be helping her? What if they miss use this opportunity and do some damage to the system as well as Jodha. As a husband, he is worried for Jodha as a shehenshah, he is worried for his Sultanate. When he reached Jodha, he saw Jodha in a sad mood feeding the caged birds and when he asked her she said she doesn't like to keep the birds caged but again she could not hurt his other Begum who gifted these caged birds. Can she need to be more vopcal on how she is feeling for her brother who is entrapped in Agra? Jalal understood it and freed those bords and said now the birds are free, are you happy? we can even manipulate his words as now that she has helped Sujamal to escape from Agra, she must be happy' but to his surprise she didn't seem to realize that and was deeply absorbed in her thought that he had to put himself as her Friend to ease her agony and asked her to empty her heart to him so that she will be lighter. However hard she wanted to share her pain, she was unable to do so for 2 major reasons.

1 Jalal's angry words towards Sujamal and how he has asked his captivity dead or alive.

2 Her prmise to Sujamal on secrecy of their meeting

The moment she open her mouth about her meeting with Sujamal, the angry Shehnshah might capture him and behead him and even after knowing the truth that her brother is not at fault, she can't endanger his life by revealing the truth to Jalal.

Sujamal didn't ask for her promise of secrecy to save his skin, please don't blame him for his request. If he was so worried for his life, he would have escaped Agra long back and would not have stayed in Agra to look out for the real culprit. He knows how Jalal will feel the moment he comes to know that someone close to him is plotting to kill him and this will be discussed in open DEK there by alerting the insider. If the insider is alerted he might change his plans or might attack Jalal in private than in disguise. To nab the criminal, it is needed to keep their plan secret. Sujamal was thinking of Jalal's life when he took the promise and not his life.

So now that Jalal has seen Jodha meeting the same person in a different place (Jalal had already got the temple location screened and found no clues about the person) and was shocked. So now he is more worried as Jodha selected a secluded place in the midst of the forest than the city centre temple to meet this person. The person might be a trust worthy one but what if some else, harm Jodha? Why she is taking so much of risk? If she is taking this much risk, then the issue had to be strong and what is that which is eating away her time and energy which she can't even share with me, he friend, her husband and the great emperor of Hindustan.

The earlier case during Ben issue was different as they were not in talking terms and he was hating her hence, she had to risk herself to unearth the criminal but now, despite his open support and him trusting her more than himself, if she can't confine in him about her problems, how hard they muct be or how weak she thinks of him?

Even if he talks to her in hard tone and hard words, he will not doubt her fidelity but in hurt or with the flow of emotions, he might shout at her whom she had been meeting that she can't even share those details to her husband? That will be an hurt husband not suspe4cting Shehenshah.

For sure she will not open up and the circumstances might force him to take some precautionary measures for her safety and he might order her to leave for Amer. Again, not because he is angry with her but because to get to the bottom of her problems. To unearth that person whom she was meeting and also to know the exact reason for her silence. While she is Agra, it will be difficult for him to investigate on her.

He wants to help her, so he had to act as a bitter medicine not as sugar syrup which damage the health.

I was in awe seeing Jalal's trust for Jodha. What a long way have these two come? So much care and trust was so amazing to watch. oh Maham Anga. I would rather after his outburst, Jodha will realize how hurt Jalal felt by her lying and her actions and somehow she is able to tell him and together they solve this.
