Its a bit of a dilly-dallying ..some days his characterizaion is good.. somedays he appears like he's doing nothing...

Firstly, don't take everything zee operator says as the truth...

when I spoke to him, he did say that some war scenes are being shown etc etc...and that they will focus on other aspects every now and again...

I did realize that this serial is purely about the transitional period in Akbar's life when Jodha entered... I don't think its about Akbar's general cumulative history...

However, the last couple of episodes - I'm finding the balance slightly better than the post-election episodes...

My question is this.. why SO much of screen space to Ma and Ruq who say the same dialogues over and over and over again! Can't they show Maan, Hakim...why can't they bring back Abdul? 😕

I don't know what else to say...😕

lashy, i know the show is about both but they should at least show some balance and why would they change anything when the trps r rocking?..he very clearly said it will be typical sbs style where one aurat is mahaan and rest r rengte hue gandi naali ke keera..and the husband will do all the naari pooja..end of story..lo dekh lo history!

yes, I do wish throughout we got to witness a strong jalal...par there have been weakpoints in his life too... I've just accepted that this serial is based only upon the 'moulding' of akbar's period...

remember the movie Gandhi mere baap..that story was from the perspective of Gandhi ji's son and showed purely the aspect of him as a father (and the pressures upon his son) it didn't focus on freedom struggles...after all, tagline of this serial has also been 'Jodha ne kaise banaaye akbar ko haivaan se insaan'

I do miss his intelligent plotting/planning etc though... I really wish they did without the harem so much and showed other more interesting political strategies... 😊

lashy, that is what i exactly want to see! jodha was involved in activities outside harem as well we all know..she was intelligent must have had good influence..all fine..the problem is lack of proper execution and balance..i also want to see how and what akbar did solo to bring some major changes along with his partner ship with jodha and his 9 gems..i do want to see the balance and not completely one sided..i hope u understand what i am trying to say..because the movie u r giving example was a 3 hour movie..this is a serial that might last few years and in that long period of time r we going to see only one sided track..won't that be nerve wrecking?
