Jodha as shown in the show is inherently a person who even though is always seen fighting for the right she is also someone who would never want to hurt someone to do that right. As far as her going to Jalal and Salima requesting them to vote for Ruqs is concerned thats just her way of trying to make sure that their relationship with Ruqs is not ruined coz she knows Ruqs would be heart broken and get nuttier if these people were to openly support Jodha. She does not know that Jalal knows that it was Ruqs who did the Murti kaand, she does not know that Jalal has very less respect left for Ruqs and she does not know that the RuqLal relationship is in a very perilous place right now. She also does not know about the blowout that Ruqs and Salima had before the elections.
So her going and asking these 2 to vote for Ruqs is something that I respect.
Didn't she say something along the lines of "Sambandho ki dor bohot nazuk hoti hai shehenshah" to Jalal once, isnt she just standing by it???
Wasn't she also seen being practical by voting for herself when asked for her vote??? If she was in her mahaan devi mode without any worry for the slaves everyone knows she would have voted for Ruqs, thats how she is.
So practicality is all well and good but expecting the same from a person who is always seen making decisions with her heart would not be very logical now would it

I can't even blame Mahamanga entirely for instigating Ruqaiya. Had she not made herself mentally vulnerable enough, then Mahamanga's "sautan ka ghar tudwao" and "audha bachao" lectures would not have affected her a bit. But then in this case I would definitely say its 50-50. If Mahamanga is to be blamed for instigating her, then Ruqaiya has to be blamed for getting easily manipulated and not using her brains! People hear what they want to hear, see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe. And so is with Ruqaiya who only wants to listen to Mahamanga. She says with pride that she has control over Jalal's mind but I guess in that process she lost her own! Be it Jalal, Gulbadan phuphi, Salima Begum or Hamida Banu Begum, everyone did advice her. Each one of them was talking sense but what caught her attention is Mahamanga's nonsense. This happens when you talk sense to a person whose mind is preoccupied with jealousy, arrogance, rudeness, insecurity and a hell lot of pride. Who says only love is blind? Those who think so, please add jealousy and insecurity to it. Insecurities have the ability to shape and mould our minds to live with everything that's bad. Jealousy?? What should I say about this? You can be the moon and still be jealous of stars. Its all on you. Those jealous are troublesome to others but torment to themselves. It contains more of self love than selfless love

Too much negativity may bring an initial rise in TRP's but in the long run, if three out of five episodes in a week are boring and illogical, some people wont mind missing a few episodes here and there, thus, easier for them to quit when their patience runs out. I do this...i only watch the ones that you guys recommend. Skip the rest for lack of time. I was just talking to my mom who watches a lot of other Hindi serials. She brought up a few examples. Don't want to name the serial, but another one on the same channel which was popular for months lost viewers for the same reason. Too many villains...always getting away with their chaals, hero and heroine are clueless victims and are not able to get married for one chaal/MU or another. The cute and bubbly heroine and the hunk hero have less screen time than the villains . Massive drop in Trps...they are unable to recreate the magic now.
I agree with Cleo's comments, we love OUR Jalal and Jodha and please do not make them victims of chals everytime and show them just REACTING. Common Jalal was very shrewd WE WANT OUR TEDA AND FIERY BACK - atleast WITH OTHERS!!!
Please give positive tracks😊
