And I don't know whom I read and where I read, but I read somewhere that if Jo would not have told Salima/Jallu to vote for Ruqu then it would have gone against her character. You know Ela, we all love Jo very much. And yesterday, we all wanted her to win because we wanted to see Jallu deciding in favour of Jo (which we couldn't). But overall if you see Jo's character, she was always like that. A soft hearted person. Shariffuddin coming out of jail, BB ka punishment dur karna were some recent decisions that she took from heart. During one conversation with Jallu (near tuladan) she mentioned that 'Shahenshah rishta jode rakhna aasan nahi hota' or something of that effect. A girl like Jo who is so very much concerned of relationships will only hope to see the relation between Jallu-Ruq and Ruq-Salima to be good. Here though we can see that Ruq's ego is being pampered the truth is that it would have been even difficult for Jallu and Salima to make a decision because of their close relations. Jo went with her heart, STOOD FIRMLY in what she believes (that relations need to be nurtured) and went after that, saving Jallu, Salima and Ruq relationship in the bargain. Before the elections, she did not know who all were going to vote for her or that the elections would tie. But she still went ahead.

No you didn't...I agree with the character analysis of Jo...but don't you think that Jo is encouraging wrong things...

She is encouraging Jallu to take her for granted...

She is encouraging Jallu first to think of relationships and then stand for truth...Then why she didn't talk to Suja if reltionships were so important to her...

She is stroking Ruku's ego which is wrong becoz she is supporting wrong...

I agree with Ela. Jodha should know whats right and wrong. She keeps letting all villains free and then she herself gets trapped in their whirpool

For Jo her heart rules the head, for Jallu head rules the heart. They are both opposite. She is sensitive to others views, circumstances and puts her views across to Jallu, but finally it is he who decides

don't you think that Jo is encouraging wrong things... BB and Shariff got punished as Jallu was angry and they deserved it. BB getting out from the punishment was due to her pregnancy. It was no other reason. Because till then Jo kept quiet, she did not say a word to Jallu to remove nazarbandh, she only told him not to be harsh by saying that he will break ties with her. As for Shariff, he was only left because Jo told him that he was the one who helped her in Ben- vishkanya case. Not because BB was pregnant.

She is encouraging Jallu to take her for granted... I don't think so. On the contrary I feel that he has started valuing her very much. The other day angoori baag episode, Jallu told Jo to speak what is in her heart because her words had meaning/depth in it. If he had taken her for granted then the election decision would have been easy for Jallu. He was pained while taking Ruq's name and listen what he said while looking at Jo that she gives him new and right salahs and is there for him always. He will not take her for granted. It was earlier Ela, but not after Vishkanya incident and FS yatra.

Then why she didn't talk to Suja if reltionships were so important to her: With Sujamal the case is a bit complex. She loves him for being her brother/mentor. But she also knows that he has let down her very badly. First at Amer when he revolted against family, plotted the war against Amer using Mughals, Suryabhan dead, her marriage to a Mughal. Now he is a known gaddar of Amer plus Mughals. As a married girl, it is usually sasural first than maayka (although we love our maayka to death). That is why she is hurt on seeing her brother to be called a gaddar, but she is the begum of Shahenshah. If she was very stern/cold hearted then Sujamal would have been in jail now. She still cares for her brother and that is why she told him to leave. Or else Sujamal ka haal behaal hota if he was caught.

She is stroking Ruku's ego which is wrong becoz she is supporting wrong... Again I feel she is being sensitive to Ruq, which is actually turning into stroking Ruku's ego. Jo is sensitive and kind while Ruq is not. Jo can see why Ruq is jealous of her (because Jallu is now more inclined towards Jo), she can understand her situation (married since she was a child, Jallu is her only real friend and again she is childless) and also her arrogant behaviour (due to power). So nowadays she usually doesn't talk in return. Just lets Ruku be the way she is. Maybe she pities her now. Again the vote by Jallu/Salima was because Jo is good, values relationships also Jallu/Salima who were relived from the delimma. The side effect in this case is that Ruq feels that she is powerful and that Jo is a nominal begum and Jo is nothing in front of her. That is Ruq's fault not Jo. She can think high of herself and then fall in the gadda. Good for her.

Again, this is my personal opinion Ela. It is bound to differ and you might even not agree.😊

As for whether she encourages Jallu first to
