DId you read Sun's post where she said THIS SB Jalal scene should have come before Ruk's Murti kand? Then Jalal being confused would have made sense!
After yest - ok then dialogues were bad - he could have said Ruk has run it for so long and some other dialogues
He is the one WHO told Jo to stand and NOW he is in confusion

I want Jo being kidnapped by Shariff. But Jo not crying. She is a fiery Rajputani. She is threatening and fighting it out with a dagger in her hand. Shahenshah reaches on time but outside the room and hears Jo's cries. He hears, Jo saying that 'hum sirf Shahenshah ki ammanat hai'. Shariff saying but you don't love Jallu and you have no relation with him. Jo then blurting that Jallu is my suhaag, I am in love with him if you touch me then I will die' Jallu will be happy. He will come inside start fighting. Shariff bhag jayega (because I know he will not die like that). Both hugging each other. Jallu also confessing
