Why is Ruqaiya being shown so negative?

I am an ardent Jodha Akbar fan but quite dipressed with the cvs for the way they are trying to potray. Today i want to discuss Begam Ruqaiya. In the beginning i tottaly loved Ruqaiya's character classy, confident and Jalal's best friend who understood him completely and the actress who was the first Ruqaiya had so much personality and was such a perfect fair character who was least concerned with whom Jalal will spend his time and at the same time be the perfect host of harem with dignity. That was kinda relatable to the original Ruqaiya.

I missed the few episodes after that and thn suddenly new Ruqaiya was brought with tottaly changed character. I loved Lavina too as Ruqaiya but the cvs are hell bent in ruining her character. Why are they trying to show Ruqaiya as possessive insecure begam? Cant there be place for Ruqaiya and Jodha in Jalal's life? because in history both were his favourite begums and Ruqaiya and Akbar's relation did not change even after Jodha arrived in his life.

Its weird they are showing that Jodha is slowly and steadily taking Ruqaiya's place. Why should she take Ruqaiya's place she should be making her own place. Its evident Jodha's character is made to look good showing Ruqaiya bad, now thats so sick. Now ppl in the harem are going against Ruqaiya just to show they are with Jodha. And even Jalal's character is being ruined. Ruqaiya is his childhood friend but nowadays its quite clear he is shown giving cold shoulder to her and does not care for her as much he did earlier. Cvs are not showing proper love story and bringing in unneccesary insecure Ruqaiya track. It should not happen that Jalal should go away from Ruqaiya to be with Jodha. It wud be so amazing if they cud show scenes like Ruqaiya teasing Jalal whn he is falling for Jodha as a best friend.

Ruqaiya shown earlier was so smart, positive and knew MahaManga's tactics and most importantly knew Jalal and wud not get affected by anyone but now it has become such an irritating dumb character. Cvs shud not use Jodha Akbar and other historic names if they cant even show decent similarity. I loved Ruqaiya's character back in the start and even sometimes now when she is shown decent and proper but i feel for her now as Jalal is basically ignoring her. Its basically a Jodha Akbar love story so if cvs cant justify Ruqaiya's character they shud not even show her like done in the movie. Ruqaiya was said to be the most gentle lady in Akbar's palace but they are showing tottaly opposite.

I loved Ruqaiya and if they wanna show her, i want Cvs to show her real character they showed in the start and it wud be so amazing two strong ladies Jodha and Ruqaiya deal with Jalal differently and positively without showing each other down..

call up zee and ask them that,they will give u an answer..the number is 022-24955555.hope this helps...another thing have u read the national archives,i think internet is not a good source for history.only govt authorised authentic documents are.some ppl on the forum have read them and am hoping smthing abt this will be posted soon.

Its ok if the makers add imaginary stuff, its required in a daily soap but the total change in a historic character is not good. It is so ok if she is shown angry with Jodha or some dasis and throws tantrums but its not ok if she is shown obsessed for Jodha Akbar relation and goes total negetive. In no history book tht i came across Ruqaiya is negetive and am sure the makers knw tht and may be in future they will show her positive and supportive but what is the use if her character is not reasonable throughout. I just hope they concentrate on Akdha's love story without insecure Ruqaiya.

Is the REEL Ruqaiya being shown negative all of a sudden or was she always like this but more secure with her place in Jalal's life n the harem? was she confident in the beginning bcoz she held a special place in Jallu's life being his childhood best friend and his BEK which no begum present then could even begin to touch before Jodha showed up?? Ruqs constantly saying that Jallu has no heart tells me time and again that she never understood him completely.

Ruqs is suddenly insecure n possessive coz now there is someone in Jallu's life that is starting to make or has already made a much bigger and more special place for herself in Jalal's life. One cannot compare the place a best friend holds in a persons life to that of ones love or soul mate as AkDha are shown to be in the show.

I guess once Ruqs faces the fact that Jallu does have a heart and Jodha got it beating and also stops listening to MA, she will stop being the insecure and egoistic woman she is now.

As far as the repeated mention of the original Ruqaiya and Ruqlal history is concerned kindly refer to the disclaimer

I totally agree with you, I don't need any archive, authentic chronicles but I strongly believe what my common sense says, if ruqaiyaa were like this the way she is portrayed here, Jalal would have given her talaq long time back..

I am an Akdha fan but i understand what your are saying. It would be nice if CVS can show ruq without being negative and still show jodha-akbar love story. But, i think we, most people on forum would understand it but the general audience won't understand that how can a man can love two different people. they don't understand that Jalal can be shown to love ruq as friiend but love jodha as his soul-mate/lover/wife.

I have heard that ruq was not bad in real life and was good but cvs probably does not know how to tell a story if ruq is shown good OR they knows general audience. who knows may be later ruq will be shown in positive light.

but, u can still call zee and ask them or give ur feedback.

The old Ruqaiya always treated him with respect and never called him Jalal whereas Ekta's Ruqaiya is always calling him by his name, loves to rub salt in his wounds, acts like a spoiled, selfish brat, and above all thinks herself to be clever but in reality is stupid. In conclusion, she is Ekta's Ruqaiya.

Aww Ruqaiya Jalal were so awsome, i so miss their awsome friendship.. and just hate the negative Ruqaiya shown right now.. The cvs have lost it..

Just to create drama they ruined her character but as i felt d same , i loved her character in a first set of episodes..hope cv's will stick to it...blending their characters for dramasake..
